07/03/2026: Wonderful dinner at Taverna La Fenice 🍽️
We ordered roast beef — the meat was very tender, juicy and cooked perfectly, with a beautiful pink center. The side dishes were also a pleasant surprise: fragrant fried mushrooms, spinach, zucchini with cauliflower and tender potatoes. Everything is delicious, fresh and goes well with each other.
The presentation of the dish is neat and appetizing, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and cozy. The staff is attentive and friendly, which makes the dinner even more comfortable.
We left with very good impressions. We recommend this place for a delicious and peaceful dinner!

18/03/2026: Stopped here for a late lunch, made very welcome despite being nearing their closing time. Obviously a local favourite eatery, the house red was right up with the best. Pizza was very good and the duck ragu pasta was superb, much better than one in Padua! Great view of canal and bridge, as well as the 'gramers taking pic poses of each other!!
18/03/2026: The place is lovely and the service is wonderful. The food is delicious. The only reason it's missing a fifth star is because there are very few vegetarian options.

Excellent food, commendable staff in every way, they even prepared gluten-free dishes with the utmost professionalism and safety, allowing us to enjoy all the delicious dishes in a relaxed and safe environment for celiacs! 01/09/2025: The prices don't match the quality and quantity. Dinner for three cost over 200 euros, and everyone left hungry. The mixed grilled fish was a scam. Everything smelled like grilling kindling. The staff barely spoke English. I'm giving it 3 stars only for the delicious canola and frozen torte.

05/03/2026: I visited this place while traveling around the islands of Venice with a friend. When paying, I noticed that €6 had been added to the total of our order. I asked the waitress what it was and why we had not been warned about it. She replied that it was a service charge that was “written on every page of the menu.”
I checked the menu and this information was printed only on the first page, and somewhere inside it was written by hand. I asked other waiters about it and received a very rude and aggressive response: “It’s like this everywhere.” They said it included cutlery (!), bread (!) and even the toilet (!), and that it was “my problem that I didn’t read it.”
Terrible experience.

03/11/2025: It's been a year and a half since I've had their pasta a la vongole and I'm STILL thinking about it. I've tried elsewhere in Italy and cooking it back home, but can't get anywhere as good. We saw huge sacks of flour being brought in while we were there, so they clearly are making everything fresh in the kitchen and the quality shows.
28/10/2025: We arrived around 5pm, and the atmosphere was friendly and the food was delicious!
The portions were generous and the pasta and bread that came with the set were enough to fill us up! It's a mystery why there aren't many customers at this restaurant. It might be a hidden gem.
The staff will be nice to you if you say hello before entering!

12/09/2025: I ordered mussels marinara but I got clams marinara. I said that's not what I ordered, but the waitress insisted since that's what she wrote... She didn't question for a second that she might have made a mistake. I had to accept the dish and was charged in full. Everyone can make mistakes, but the arrogance with which I was treated is shameful. I've been there several times in the past, but luckily Caorle has a great selection of good restaurants with better customer service. They won't see me again.

another pasta dish took 50+ minutes to arrive overall not sure if they are racist to asians or if it’s standard italian culture…🤌
also there’s no sink in the toilet to wash my hands.

08/10/2025: We had dinner in this half empty hotel restaurant the first Friday of October 2025. The Gaspacho was tasteless, the spaghetti al dentissimo with the accompanying little shrimps being raw, and the fritto misto di mare severely overfritted with rubberlike consistency of the calamari. Even the espresso did not taste like Italian espresso. The beautiful view from our table over the lagoon explains our second star. What a deception!

Amazing views. The food was excellent. My vegan friend was delighted by her two dishes.

02/02/2026: Clean place, decorated with lots of movie photos. Just a few minutes from St. Mark's Square. We were two couples with children, and
we ate pasta carbonara, two pizzas, and fried calamari.
We enjoyed everything, and the portions were excellent.
The price was normal for Venice, between 14 and 20 euros.
