28/05/2025: typical venexian trattoria, and when I say typical, I mean TI PI CA. True local cuisine, like few others left. Highly recommended both for the quality of the raw materials and for the preparation and for the prices, especially considering the average in the lagoon. A fixed stop for trips to Venice. Excellent!

13/05/2025: I came back after a few years because I had eaten very well, but now not at all, ordered a calzone that arrived a little burned, the buffalo mozzarella with Parma ham, was a mix of buffalo and non-Parma ham cut too thick and very salty, fried zeppole made of pizza dough, tasted too much of yeast giving an acidic flavor. I'm very sorry but the products can only satisfy foreign tourists who don't know how to eat Italian.

11/05/2025: Ambiente molto ventilato con una sistemazione poco comoda in quanto il cameriere per poter servire una persona del tavolo ha avuto bisogno di essere aiutato da uno di noi Un antipasto della casa nella media che è costato parecchio più del dovuto (37€) Il secondo un soaso alla griglia per due che non aveva niente di particolare per essere una proposta della casa Un primo del giorno “paccheri al pesce spada” che sapeva di sugo di pomodori Tutto molto comune da trattoria/pizzeria ad un prezzo di ristorarante di ottimo livello

25/04/2025: Beautiful elegant and welcoming place, impeccable staff. The quality of the food was excellent, carefully prepared and very well presented. The vegan options are also good. The only observation I have to make is that the tiramisu has unbalanced flavours, extremely sweet cream but tasteless coffee dip. However, if you are in the area, it is definitely a place worth visiting

27/05/2025: I went to dinner and I have to make some considerations.. The fish was good and well plated but the portion was decidedly small, the sea bass served with potatoes had a total of 5 very thin potato slices, and there were two very lean fillets... for 17 euros it was truly a robbery... a little more substance would not have been bad. I would add that in the bill I was charged 3 euros for a 0.75 lt bottle of water, considering that it arrived at the table without a cap, and it was obviously tap water at most microfiltered I would say that skimming off these little things is in bad taste. Finally I was alone in the restaurant and at the time I was a guest I was the only guest. I waited 45 minutes for my dish... actually quite a long time, I don't dare to think on a packed evening... let's say I expected better!

20/05/2025: A great spot away from the crowds. Had a nice meal with vino. Not the cheapest but a menu that varied enough instead of the same old pizza and pasta. Anthony looked after us and was great to talk to.

31/05/2025: The atmosphere is a bit folkloristic, there is no written menu and not even prices indicated. I recommend eating spider crab, marinated prawns (if there are any), creamed cod and mixed fried fish (not greasy at all). The price is a bit high

19/05/2025: There were six of us, our waiter spoke German and was extremely accommodating. We ordered fish starters, first course and second course. The fish starters were disappointing, qualitatively and quantitatively. They were not worth the price. The first and second course, we had mixed grill of fish and a fish omelette were very good. Unfortunately all the guests were kicked out at 10:30 pm and very rudely because the restaurant wanted to close. We should not even drink our drinks anymore. If you know other restaurants on the Lido where the quality/price ratio is right, you should not go to Mauro.

13/05/2025: Right in the center, normal prices and excellent dishes, even the desserts are good. The waiter is a nice character.

11/05/2025: I had dinner with friends and I must say that the value for money is very good, the place dates back to the 80s but not for me. The service was interesting, I would say attentive and quick in serving the courses, the food was good, very available to take care of the customer, I can say that I will be back!!

16/05/2025: A disappointing experience from start to finish. The food was frankly mediocre, flavorless, and poorly prepared, from the starters to the dessert. Nothing could match the standard. Furthermore, the service left something to be desired: the waitress was rude and unprofessional, which further spoiled the experience. The restaurant's atmosphere was cold and gloomy, lacking any warmth or friendliness. We will not be returning and will not recommend it to anyone.

06/04/2025: Este era el lugar perfecto para tener nuestra primera comida a la llegada a Venecia, deliciosos canelones y lasaña en un pequeño espacio hermoso con personal muy amable. Era sábado a la hora del almuerzo, así que aunque las calles circundantes estaban bastante ocupadas no nos sentimos apresurados e hizo una introducción encantadora a Venecia

11/05/2025: Dopo circa tre anni circa ritorno con moglie e amici in questa trattoria... Servizio e accoglienza bene ma per quello che abbiamo mangiato, la qualità non era eccelsa,il prezzo davvero esagerato, non ho fatto bella figura con i miei amici. Non entro nei dettagli del menù per correttezza, ma devono rivedere qualità e prezzi, non credo di ritornarci.
