The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavors and clearly prepared with great care and quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, giving you a true Italian trattoria experience away from the tourist crowds. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. If you’re looking for genuine Italian cuisine, generous portions, and an authentic Venetian experience, Trattoria da Gianni is a must-visit. 27/10/2025: It's not the first time I've left this restaurant very disappointed, I think and hope it will be a long time before I set foot there again. The price is too high for a restaurant, with waiters lacking good manners and ability in the dining room. Having understood the food, the appetizer trolley was meager (citation needed, we'll come back later..... more seen in reality) and too expensive for the ingredients. The first courses were pathetic and reported. They were left on the table and found on the bill. 60 euros for an appetizer trolley and a first course.
