01/11/2025: We had dinner, and it was an experience we'll always remember.
We had Barolo risotto, the best thing we've ever tasted! Creamy, flavorful, simply perfect.
We paired it with an excellent Barolo and, to finish, a delicious homemade tiramisu.
Anna and Matteo's welcome was wonderful: kind, attentive, and warm.
An unforgettable evening in every way: the food, the wine, the atmosphere, and the people.
A place we highly recommend, and we'll definitely return!
28/10/2025: Beautiful osteria, meticulously maintained, very intimate, and with truly tasty dishes. Excellent service, very friendly staff. I saw they also offer cooking classes on making homemade pasta. Worth checking out.

31/10/2025: This is a nice place with good food, hidden away from the main street, but conveniently near the train station.
We had steak, tagliatelle bolognese and sea bass (which came with delicious vegetables), all freshly cooked. The staff was nice and attentive.

The food, however, was truly excellent. Compliments to the chefs and waiters.

22/12/2025: I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the price, especially considering the expensive neighborhood. The waiters were friendly and we received prompt service despite the restaurant being busy. The atmosphere is charmingly quaint. The Venetian specialties (pasta with anchovies, polenta, tiramisu, and semifreddo with zabaglione) were exquisite.

22/09/2025: Bad taste, stale meat and really bad pasta. High prices for this. I really don't recommend it.
16/09/2025: Three for service only because the waiter sets the table for five, as we have a baby in a stroller.
As soon as we point out that there are four of us (the baby wasn't eating), he angrily tells us, "Never mind, you're five."
At which point we accepted (remember, in Italy you pay a cover charge).
In the end, it was a lovely evening.
The food was excellent.

21/12/2025: Years after Le Calandre we tried the Bistrot, with refined cuisine and an informal but warm atmosphere.
15/12/2025: A truly beautiful, modern, well-kept, and clean place.
The staff (the parking attendant, the waiters, and the sommeliers) are kind, professional, and attentive.
I really appreciate that, whenever the bread runs out, the waiters replenish it.
The menu is refined, with few but high-quality options.
My choice was Erminio's tartare: an explosion of flavors that creates a perfect umami experience, not to mention the salad, as simple as it is delicious.
The desserts are also excellent.
It was a pleasant experience, and I can't wait to return!

Contrary to some negative reviews, the menu is clear and concise, the waiters speak multiple languages, and our questions were answered patiently and thoroughly. We paid for the dishes as described on the menu. I highly recommend it; it's a perfect place for a date.
P.S. My husband says hello to the waiter from Albania.

16/12/2025: We'd been to this restaurant a couple of years ago and had a great time, so we weren't aware of the change in management.
The staff are friendly, and they explain the entire menu and the various courses. It's obvious they're new and are keen to differentiate themselves from other places.
The dishes are good, but the portions are small. Dessert, however, was disappointing: we ordered the panna cotta (it arrives as a thin slice of panna cotta covered in various sauces, so the flavor is nonexistent. €8 for chestnut and fig cream is too much).
For four of us, we spent €130, so prices are a bit high.

03/11/2025: We spent our autumn break in Vinigo, a beautiful village above Peaio. Since it was also a holiday for me, a regular cook, we were thrilled to find such a well-run little restaurant nearby with such delicious cuisine! We enjoyed not only pizza and pasta, but also typical northern Italian dishes! And we did so almost every evening! We were also served by an exceptionally attentive and friendly lady! All in all, it was a truly wonderful experience to eat there at such a reasonable price in such a welcoming, family-run atmosphere!

20/09/2025: Dining on Grand Canal, across from Basilica Santa Maria was quite an experience. Delicious, high quality food and immaculate service. If you expect massive dishes, like most average American tourists in the reviews, there are other restaurants available. This is for beauty and quality. Hemingway risotto was 10/10.

05/12/2025: A modern restaurant, with meticulously designed furnishings, but not only that. I haven't tried the food, but the pizzas, offered with a variety of doughs and unusual ingredients, are significantly above average for the industry, and the products used are top-notch. The pizzas are easy to digest, and don't overwhelm your stomach with water. Unfortunately, the feet are above average. Special mention goes to the waiter Gianmarco, a prompt and helpful person, exceptionally kind, as well as quick and knowledgeable. 👍🔝
