The location, on top of the hill, offers a breathtaking view of the splendid Costa dei Trabocchi of Abruzzo, making your stay truly unforgettable. Barbara is an excellent hostess: welcoming, kind and always professional. Yvonne, with her sweetness and helpfulness, makes every morning even more enjoyable thanks to breakfasts taken care of down to the smallest details. And what about the homemade desserts? A real delight for the palate! Thank you so much for your hospitality. We will definitely be back

16/07/2025: S In the Arena gardens, there's a kiosk where I enjoyed an excellent smash burger accompanied by well-made fries in the shade of giant trees. A very pleasant stop. In addition to the Scrovegni Chapel, nearby is Palazzo Zuckerman with the Bottacin Museum.

14/07/2025: Lunch with fantastic mixed cicchetti prepared to order (homemade bread). Top spritz, very fair prices, right in the center. Conclusion: if we were from Padua, we'd be there every other day. The guys are really kind and they work like machines. Top place.

11/07/2025: The food isn’t bad but it also isn’t good, not worth the price. High prices for such low portions. The side dishes lack A LOT, soy been sprouts coming directly from the can, 0 effort put into it. Asked three different employees for the bill, all of them nod the head in confirmation of what was asked, after waiting for 15 minutes we just decided to get up and go to the reception. The other reviews deceived us, as we were expecting much better than this.

04/07/2025: Wonderful lunch. 41° in Este today, so the cool and calm interior of Le Strie was a very welcome discovery; the quality and imagination of the food was more welcome still. Primo: Bigoli with "corte" ragù (made from roasted white meats) which was subtle and delicious with a crisp glass of Manzoni Bianco. Secondo: Local chianina beef sausage with charred spring vegetables. Robust flavours, beautifully done and really satisfying. Heartily recommended!

12/06/2025: We went with our local friends to this beautiful little restaurant. Almost sophisticated atmosphere, not so big but very welcoming. It gave the impression of being very expensive because everything was very well-kept. We ordered two lasagnas with ragù di corte which were fabulous, the goodness of homemade, a spaghetti with pesto that our friend really appreciated, and the cold cuts and cheeses board that my husband ate... very rich, very well presented. I then chose a plate of vegetables... well-picked, all lined up, simple but exquisite; then two desserts that I didn't look at too much because otherwise I would have wanted to order. Despite the idea I had made, we paid the right amount... excellent quality/price. Genuine products, the service, I would dare say almost obsequious. Professionalism is at home. Congratulations.

03/07/2025: The menu is very confusing. Service is very poor. I ordered a T-bone steak and received 1 kg of meat without any indication that it was for two people. And it was also tough. So I don't know where the great reviews come from. Unfortunately, that wasn't anything.

23/06/2025: The food was very good! Everything else was a disaster!!! Unfriendly service! No greeting at reception! No thank you, even though we had a bill of €150 for two! Then there were two drinks listed too many on the bill, and after we complained, there wasn't even an apology! It couldn't be more unfriendly! Conclusion: You can eat well without having a pleasant evening! All you see is unfriendly staff! I will never visit this restaurant again!

24/06/2025: Excellent value for money Small but very welcoming Attentive, kind and very helpful staff Tagliatelle crudo e semi di poppy, and bigoli al ragù di anatra, both delicious. Unfortunately there is scaffolding for construction that makes it difficult to see, but the place is very worth it.

The food on the other hand is very good, the staff welcoming and the place very nice. You can choose between inside and outside and the inside is equipped with air conditioning. We only took one course so I can't give an indication of the price

11/07/2025: Don't be fooled by unassuming exterior! Inside you will find lovely place, excellent food prepared from good products. Staff is of highest quality - helpful, caring, has no problem with speaking English (which is not granted in Italy). Despite the looks - it's affordable. I recommend dressing well to match the interior.
