04/12/2024: Tasty pizza, and local ingredients of medium height, perfect for everyone!

23/10/2024: In occasione della raccolta delle olive nel casale di un mio amico a Frontignano, siamo andati in sei a mangiare la pizza in questo locale. Premettendo che il gestore, poveraccio, è stato da mesi penalizzato da interminabili lavori nella strada che proviene dalla chiesa della Consolazione e che finisce appunto davanti al cancello del suo esercizio, tra l'altro i clienti (anche come abbiamo fatto noi) che provengono di notte dal parcheggio di fianco alla chiesa, devono percorrere circa 200 metri al buio completo con l'ausilio delle torcette dei cellulari facendo slalom tra le palanche del cantiere..... una vera vergogna.... ma purtroppo in Italia funziona così.... comunque, abbiamo passato una bella serata tra amici, con ottimi antipastini, birra a fiumi e soprattutto buonissime pizze e una dolcissima cameriera premurosa, attenta e sempre presente. Infatti per tutto questo ho detto al mio amico che per me e mia moglie questa è la migliore pizzeria di Todi.

23/01/2025: Ieri sera volevamo mangiare del Tartufo e abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante. L’ambiente è elegante nel senso più alto, stile anni Venti non invasivo e perfettamente conservato. Abbiamo mangiato degli strangozzi fatti in casa con tartufo di stagione… una vera esperienza. Anche gli antipasti erano ottimi. Vino in abbinamento perfetto. Come dolce abbiamo scelto una crescionda spoletina che generalmente non amo molto perchè troppo bagnata o dolce e che invece in questo caso era buonissima ! Servizio discreto e competente. Grazie davvero.

08/04/2025: Excellent restaurant near the Bargello fountain. Simple, homemade food, just the way we like it. Super friendly staff, punctual service. The prices are truly astonishing, we took two menus of the day but taking a look at the menu, the rest also really costs something that we Milanese dream about.

03/01/2025: Pantagruel Ristorante eccellente. E quel nome e’ un impegno preciso, che incuriosisce e che non tradisce le aspettative. Già leggendo il menu sale l’acquolina in bocca, le proposte sono piatti raffinati negli accostamenti, ma anche di gran gusto. Ci sono tutti gli ingredienti d’eccellenza di un territorio ricco e generoso e dagli antipasti ai dessert e’ davvero tutto curato e buonissimo. Buona anche la cantina (anche se consiglierei di guardare anche un po’ più a sud per arricchire la proposta vini nazionali). Gentilissimo, cordiale e disponibile lo staff, che ti fa sentire a casa e questo fa la sua bella differenza. Consigliatissimo, noi ci torniamo molto volentieri la seconda sera.

22/10/2024: The barley soup is what I can't stop thinking about - 5 months later! We stayed in Spello for a few days and came here twice just so I could have it again. The service was superb and the atmosphere quaint. Now I need the recipe :)

02/01/2025: Bel locale, tranquillo. Estrema cordialità del cameriere e ottimo servizio. Ho preso una buona pasta e fagioli e una grigliata mista. Molto buono anche il friccó di pollo. Pane e olio squisiti. Rapporto qualità/prezzo top!

28/12/2024: We ended up there by chance, without any pretensions or expectations, but fate rewarded us with an incredible experience. We weren't very hungry, having just finished two intense days of Umbrian cuisine, we ordered 2 appetizers for two (they deserve an honorable mention) which shocked our palates, the waiter was very kind in recommending them and telling us about them with an enthusiasm that it overwhelmed us, I inserted the photos because the eye also appreciated it (bovine tongue and amberjack head), we then took a mixed sashimi, very good and 2 portions of Uramaki for 8 which (don't hold it against me) not up to the standard of the rest, although good and finally a very good dessert. Large selection of wines and very good at drinks too (we bought 3). Total cost €106 for two, well spent. They literally turned our evening around, well done, well done!

05/03/2025: Very good fusion cooking and great service too like their fusion cooking like risotto with Japanese sauce and dressing but not much on menu anymore. More western n Italian cooking. But flavour and taste is still great.

29/03/2025: The setting is warm and welcoming, in a scenic Villa that alone deserves to be seen, especially at night: Villa Candida. This Hosteria (which offers various traditional Umbrian dishes on the menu) offers varied types of pizza, good and tasty. Careful service. Fair prices. Recommended!

22/07/2024: Good morning, starting today my son came here to eat, now I want to see..... Unfortunately there are self-service restaurants in the area that raise their prices. Today he spent the right amount because for a worker who comes from outside, and having to eat out every day, you have to give an honest price and €10 seems like the right price, more than honest, I hope you continue like this.

17/03/2025: As a food lover I found the dishes cooked hastily and some with too many ingredients mixed together. I had some pappardelle with wild boar ragù, the pasta was good, but the ragù was watery and with the acidic tomato, I don't think it was boiled enough. For dishes with truffles it's ok since we're not in season, but it was the one from the jars and not of too much quality. Unfortunately the coffee was terrible, comparable to that of automatic machines. I'm sorry because years ago the food was much better and at lower prices

06/01/2025: We cannot compare the quality with the sky-high prices that are too high compared to the services and quantity of food, you eat or you don't always eat 60-70 euros per person. We won't return.
