Informal, clean place; friendly and helpful owner, attentive customer service; excellent traditional dishes, locally produced and with more than adequate portions; I was really satisfied, the price is also absolutely average, with excellent value for money. Very highly recommended.

definitely the best meal of my for now short life, 4 of us spent 113 euros but certainly an excellent culinary investment.

Siamo stati oggi a pranzo in questo ristorante, eravamo 8 adulti e 2 bambini. Ci hanno accolto con entusiasmo, abbiamo assaggiato un po’ di tutto del menù, tutti buono e per il piccolo si sono prodigati per una pasta adatta a lui. Torneremo sicuramente

Here in this characteristic alley is Paolo with his excellent quality local specialities. Eating out is truly relaxing. Umbrian cuisine with truffle scrambles, truffle strangozzi and penne alla norcina, fast and friendly service, prices that are truly more reasonable and lower than other restaurants in Assisi. With 15 euros spent you don't have to pay a cover charge and this in itself is a discount!!! It's always our choice to make sure we eat well! Very suggestive historic internal room from the 1100s. I recommend everyone to go there 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝 Congratulations for everything!!! Alessandra Cecchini

Ci siamo fermati per pranzo e, nonostante ci fosse tanta gente, il servizio è stato veloce. L'oste è molto simpatico ed accogliente. Porzioni abbondanti. Consiglio le bruschette/crostoni: veramente da leccarsi i baffi! prezzo adeguato.

18/09/2023: Bellissima location, parcheggio disponibile a pochi metri, personale super gentile, i piatti unici nei sapori. Abbiamo optato per questo ristorante dopo aver fatto rafting, infatti è poco distante, inutile dire che siamo rimasti entusiasti della scelta. Abbiamo mangiato all'aperto immersi nella natura e nella prelibatezza dei cibi in piena tranquillità, naturalmente lo consiglio.
25/08/2023: Recensisco il ristorante, eccezionale è la prima parola che mi viene in mente, ambiente elegante e servizio eccellente, Emanuela è stata professionale, gentile e molto disponibile, ci ha consigliato in modo eccellente, i piatti erano ricercati, con sapori davvero importanti, formaggi saporiti, petto d'anatra succoso, il cervo si scioglieva in bocca, ma sui dolci si è toccata l'eccellenza, specialmente il cestino al cioccolato fondente ( non fatevi ingannare dalla foto, era enorme). Quando ritorneremo da queste parti, spero presto, rivisiteremo sicuramente questa Locanda.

03/10/2023: Posto caratteristico, offre una buona scelta di piatti quasi tutti del territorio. Buoni i Tegamaccio ai funghi, bruschette al pomodoro, verdure grigliate , fagiolina del Trasimeno , l'insalata di Tinca. Qualche dettaglio andava, per noi, eliminato dai piatti. Personale, educato, professionale, disponibile ed affabile. Buonissimo il grechetto (vino). Da ritornare
25/07/2023: We love this restaurant. It's superbly managed by siblings Carlo and Serena and the food is simple and delicious. It's not all fish but for sure that's what they specialise in. We came here three times in a week and enjoyed different dishes each time - all washed down by decent local wines. Be sure to book as they are usually full in the evening and that's despite not having a lake view.
