30/11/2025: 🍕 Excellent Pizza and Impeccable Service Despite the Full House! We visited this pizzeria during the busy Eurochocolate period, and although the place was understandably full, the experience was very positive. Strengths: Service: The waiters were very attentive, friendly, and above all, extremely helpful, managing the chaos with great professionalism. They treated us very well and made us feel at ease. Food: The pizzas were absolutely delicious! Quality ingredients and excellent dough. It was worth the wait. Things to Consider: It's important to note that the kitchen seemed to be struggling: the pizzas were a bit slow to arrive. Despite the short wait, the quality of the food and the excellent service more than made up for it. Highly recommended, especially on less busy evenings, but even under stress, the staff proved to be incredibly helpful!

02/12/2025: I went in the evening... maybe lunchtime is better, I don't know, because I won't be going back even for a free lunch. The atmosphere was cold, but not full of smiles. Really cold AND YOU DON'T EAT COLD!!! The appetizer of fried food was sad, the pizzas... well, the thin crust, yes... but they arrived half cold, partly undercooked... and obviously burnt on the edges. The bill was too high for what they brought us. Service? I got up three times for the empty pitchers, to get the spicy one... (the pizza was a bit bland...) Too bad... maybe with the tourists in the summer they improve, but as for the other night, I was wrong not to leave as soon as I felt the temperature.

27/10/2025: A stone's throw from the Place del Mercato, a beautiful, comfortable dining room. Very pleasant welcome and service. The menu is varied at all price points. The pizzas are good. The truffle risotto is excellent. Various platters, cheese, ham, and toasts, to share, very affordable. Local wines at good prices.

17/11/2025: A charming property surrounded by greenery, it has it all. Eddie, the manager, is truly kind and helpful, making you feel at home and offering advice on everything to make your holiday as relaxing as possible. Honestly, it's hard to find a better place. We stayed one night in November to visit Assisi, which is just a few minutes' drive away. It'll probably be even more beautiful in the summer, as there's a lovely pool. The apartment called "I Papaveri" on the upper floor is truly exquisite, welcoming, and equipped with every comfort. See you soon.

28/10/2025: The restaurant also extends outside during the summer season. We had lunch on the ancient Citerno promenade. The food is intentionally refined and tastes good. The wait was a bit long, but the owner apologized. The prices were average.

She could have had someone else to help her. The dishes are good. On the menu, the protein options are somewhat exotic. I couldn't finish my dish. I wouldn't go back.

10/09/2025: The restaurant is located inside the historic residence that the Donini Counts built in 1579 as their summer residence in Umbria, not far from the cities of Perugia and Assisi. The main floor, renovated in the mid-18th century, still retains its classic series of living rooms embellished with doors and canvases painted by Nicola Giuli in 1780. Here, you can admire the concert hall, whose walls are entirely lined with canvases from the school of Francesco Appiani. Appiani also owns a magnificent oil-on-canvas altarpiece in the 18th-century chapel, depicting Saint Philip Neri and the Madonna. On the ground floor, there are five rooms with ceilings frescoed in the first and second half of the 19th century. In the two-hectare park, you can admire a mausoleum dedicated to Countess Laura Donini dating back to 1850 and a dovecote entirely painted in imitation wood from the same period. Along an avenue, five Etruscan cinerary urns from the 3rd century BC are preserved, while six 18th-century terracotta vases stand in front of the Villa's main entrance. The restaurant is housed in the Villa's caretaker's house, in a prime spot surrounded by nature. It offers cuisine that showcases local products combined with Italian excellence to create an unforgettable dining experience. Creativity, seasonality, quality, research, and tradition are the ingredients of every recipe from Chef Tommaso. Samir, the maître d', Giuliano, Luca, Elena, John, and the entire staff welcome guests with a smile, making them feel at ease. The menu is varied, ranging from appetizers (such as beef tongue carpaccio with pickled vegetables, curly lettuce and beetroot sauce, artisanal cured meats from “Granieri di Casalalta” according to the ancient Umbrian tradition: Ash, time and wisdom, flaky focaccia with lard and salt flakes, etc.), to first courses (such as artisanal umbricelli made with water and flour with salted butter, smoked eel and bay leaf powder), to second courses (such as lightly smoked lamb with rose petals, cream of carrots and roasted peppers), to side dishes and desserts (such as the ‘Mon Cheri’, a Black Forest wine flavoured with eau de vie). Throughout the year, lunch is served inside the restaurant, offering an à la carte menu. The menu changes periodically based on the season and the ingredients, which are all top-quality and fresh. The restaurant is located at Via Deruta 43 in San Martino in Campo; a place I highly recommend and sure to win everyone's heart. It has been recently renovated: there is an internal room for groups, the upper floor, a large, recently built interior space, and an outdoor space from which you can admire the park with its three fountains.

18/11/2025: I had a very good meal, the traditional dishes were delicious, along with the house wine and dessert. The place was clean and welcoming. Service wasn't the fastest, but we stayed late and no one rushed us.

13/11/2025: Typical cuisine, welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff. The wild boar stew with traditional bread (testo) is exceptional. The house wine (Merlot or Grechetto) is good. Todi is a small town, easy to navigate, with typical views and always available parking. I've attached the menu so everyone can decide. Excellent value for money! Recommended!

09/12/2025: I can honestly say that you can't go wrong at this restaurant! The food is excellent, and all the dishes are made with carefully selected ingredients and respect tradition. I really appreciate the location, the presentation of the dishes, and the attention to detail in setting the tables, which I find very beautiful and refined. The food is excellent, and Marco...the owner is incredibly kind!

11/10/2025: This evening we were passing by on the street and suddenly we read the sign with the name of the restaurant. We trusted our instincts and stopped for dinner... and I must say that we did more than well.... We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered and I must say that he even brought us extra dishes to sample their delicacies, including the super-excellent pizza... the staff was very polite and kind... even the owner is a delightful and very helpful person, among other things, I personally thank him from the bottom of my heart for the kind gift.
