13/04/2025: We found ourselves making an occasional stop in this place, a real discovery for us, the kind, attentive, familiar and welcoming service, completes the wonder of the dishes ordered in a characteristic and old-time location, all of which has calmed a rainy day in the splendid hamlet in which it is located. The dishes ordered were a paradise for the palate, the chestnut gnocchi with truffles a real specialty, without forgetting the pici with goose sauce and the tartare with burrata and truffle to conclude, the desserts were all to be tasted with the eyes and with the taste for reasons of space we stopped at a chocolate brownie accompanied by a scoop of vanilla and cream ice cream. It all took me back to the times of my grandmother's lunches.

02/02/2025: Full place, rather noisy environment. We honestly expected something more from the dishes. The pici cacio e pepe with truffle didn't suit us: the cacio remained largely stuck to the bottom of the dish and the pepper dominated the taste of the truffle, unbalancing the flavour, in our opinion. Maybe we made a mistake in ordering a dish that is not typical of the area? The chestnut gnocchi tasted good, but the butter and truffle dressing didn't have the right intensity and they went away like that. We would also have liked to try the egg with truffle but, to avoid taking any risks, we preferred to stop and go straight to the coffee. Too bad, because from the photos everything looked really good!

01/04/2025: A welcoming restaurant with an authentic homely atmosphere, perfect for those looking for genuine flavours and a convivial experience. The food is truly excellent: dishes rich in flavour, prepared with fresh ingredients and served simply, but without neglecting quality. I particularly enjoyed the first courses and the meat, cooked to perfection. The only detail that, in my opinion, could be improved is the accompaniment of the chicken, which would have been even tastier with a suitable side dish. Apart from that, everything else was impeccable, from the friendly service to the quality of the dishes. Recommended for those who love authentic home cooking

20/01/2025: Locale molto accogliente e caratteristico, personale gentile ed affabile. Abbiamo mangiato davvero bene, tutti i piatti cucinati magistralmente, abbondanti e saporiti. Ottimo il cinghiale su letto di polenta, come anche le pappardelle al sugo di anatra. Particolarmente disponibile e gentile la proprietaria che ci ha illustrato e consigliato ,con grande garbo , i piatti e i vini. Ci ritorneremo quanto prima!

15/01/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante pochi giorni fa. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. In tre abbiamo preso un antipasto misto, verdure saltate, pollo al curry , risotto e agnello. Un piatto piu' buono dell'altro. Super consigliato anche il vino "della casa". Il servizio molto attento e cortese. Tornero' sicuramente

15/04/2025: We went last Friday for the themed dinner proposed by the owners, the carciofata. What can I say? We were very disappointed. The food was served cold. The artichokes were hairy and only boiled. An experience not to be repeated.

13/04/2025: Hospitality is warm in a famous local restaurant, and the food and wine pairing reflects Umbria's local characteristics. The food is moderately priced, the service is professional, and the meals are basically spotless. Highly recommended to Taiwanese friends who accidentally visit here.

12/01/2025: Non conoscevo questo ristorante nel centro storico di Passignano. Mai scelta più azzeccata, personale molto gentile e che ci ha fatto sentire a casa. Ottima la selezione di pesce di lago, che mi ha fatto venire voglia di tornare per provare qualche piatto. Ho preferito le proposte del menù di terra e antipasto buono, super il filetto di maiale con cipolle caramellate in crosta di parmigiano con purè.

07/01/2025: Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorante in un gruppo numeroso durante una visita ad Orvieto. Il posto si trova in posizione felice a due passi dal Duomo. Il servizio è rapido ed efficiente. I piatti serviti non particolarmente allettanti, ma discreti.

06/02/2025: Locale molto bello nel bosco, pietra travi in legno e camino. Cucina ottima e carta dei vini ampia e ben curata con ottime etichette umbre ma anche nazionali. Tutti i piatti assaggiati (patata ripiena di uovo e tartufo, strangozzi al tartufo, cervo con polenta) curati e con personalità. Personale affabile e competente. Staconsigliato! Prezzi non bassi ma a mio avviso in linea con la qualità e con l'ambiente nel suo complesso.

23/12/2024: Siamo arrivati in questo bosco incantato , all ingresso il personale cortese ed attento ci ha fatto accomodare al nostro tavolo . Siamo partiti con un midollo di manzo con la sua tartare, abbiamo scelto poi dei chitarrini al tartufo bianco (slurp), sublimi. Fegatelli di maiale , costine di cervo con frutti rossi e raponzoli in accompagnamento. Il tutto,per nostra scelta, abbinato a calici di vino di alto livello. Un plauso alla direzione.

20/10/2024: L’Osteria dell’Olmo è un delizioso ristorante sito nel centro della “movida” ternana, l’estate si può cenare ai tavoli nella piazza. È gestito da due fratelli, Marco e Mirko, che mettono grande passione nel loro lavoro, trattando i clienti come familiari. Ci sono andato decine di volte, sempre con soddisfazione, con amici e familiari. Il cibo è ottimo, curato, spesso con fuori menù di stagione (asparagi selvatici, funghi, salumi fatti a mano dai titolari, tante altre cose buone) che Marco e Mirko reperiscono direttamente nei paesi limitrofi. Ingredienti genuini per una cucina tipica della tradizione umbra interpretata come nella tradizione locale. Marco, che si occupa della sala, ha sempre qualche buon vino da consigliare. Per me è ormai un punto di riferimento.

26/09/2024: Si progettata già da tempo di fare una cena insieme con un amica di famiglia,martedì dopo una giornata funesta ci siamo concessi questa cena. Accorti da Marco nel suo locale,molto carino,conviviale in stile appunto osteria,Marco ci sa consigliare benissimo capendo al volo le nostre esigenze. Dagli antipasti al dolce tutto perfetto,ci ha anche spiegato il perché della preparazione di cibi in un determinato modo anziché in un altro,ha saputo spiegarmi anche la differenza della preparazione della tagliata di angus in maniera rispetto ad un altra regione dove già l'avevo già mangiata. Davvero tutto molto buono,per non parlare del pane con quella crosta così croccante. Graziee e arrivederci a presto.

08/01/2025: Excellent hotel in the historic center of Spello with a beautiful view of the Umbrian hills! The hotel can be reached by car, it has a small garage (suitable only for small cars), alternatively it is possible to park in the small square in front even if there are few spaces.

07/03/2025: Come primo pasta fatta in casa in bianco con scaglie di tartufo, come secondo carne alla brace ben cotta, ottima scelta di vini, prezzo ottimo.
