28/12/2025: The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable; even though the place was packed, they managed to find us a table in a reasonable amount of time. The pizza was good and reasonably priced.

It's certainly a great alternative to the traditional restaurants that populate the city center. The wine list is adequate.

01/01/2026: We had lunch on January 1st. The service was perfect and fast, and the guy who served us was very friendly. The owner was very kind. We had tagliolini with truffles. We'll definitely be back again.

06/01/2026: A pleasant and accidental discovery. A charming place with a wide selection of delicious dishes. We tried the house specialties following the owner's recommendations. Recommended!

07/12/2025: We stopped for lunch... we asked for cappelletti in bianco for our daughter, but it wasn't possible to have them since, according to the waitress, the first courses were all already creamed... okay, never heard of it, but we'll adapt. Platters were no longer available, so we opted for a lasagna for our daughter and 2 strigoli with truffle (I don't remember if that's what they were called exactly, but it was a long pasta). The lasagna didn't look the best but it was appreciated, the first course with truffle... AWESOME... pasta drained badly with a drizzle of oil and a truffle sauce drizzled on top... we paid and left. I feel sorry for the waitress who was upset when she saw us leave, but certain dishes shouldn't even come out of a restaurant kitchen. The rest of the menu is probably worth it, but in my opinion the first courses absolutely not.

11/01/2026: Take me to church mofos. What a beautiful setting. Went here for a sunday lunch and it did not dissapoint. Elegent and excellebt service. Felt we travlled back in time. Waiters in suits. Fresh home made pasta and the gnocchi was sensational. Cant wait to come back with a larger group.

31/12/2025: They lie about the pilgrim stamp. Before you order the drink, they say they have it, but after you pay, they don’t give the stamp.

08/02/2026: A surprise: we returned by chance after a long time and found a substantial improvement in both the food and the service! The atmosphere is beautiful and clean, nestled in the beautiful village of Montone. The bill was reasonable. I highly recommend it!

08/01/2026: My husband and I stayed there on New Year's Eve and left on January 2nd. We both stayed and dined at the Locanda, and it was a wonderful experience! Everyone was very kind, and the dinner was superb! Breakfast was meticulously prepared, with a different dessert made every day by the owner of the Locanda! Highly recommended! We'll be back soon! 24/09/2025: Good 3 star hotel in the centre of town. It is old but very well maintained only does B&B now. Nice view from the terrace we you can relax. Our room was ok a decent size as it was at the front ove over the street it was are if the windows were open ( they do have a/c but it was off when we were there in September) .

12/11/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance. As soon as I entered, I was immediately struck by the owner's kindness. I ate incredibly tender meat, red wine, and a mouth-watering zuppa inglese.

13/01/2026: We went for Epiphany dinner for five fries 30 euros for this price I would get a Florentine steak somewhere else be careful it's quicker to close the doors I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT
