20/06/2025: Beautiful location. Steak was underwhelming and overcooked, fries were harder than chips with no soft center, no wine served with the meal, and the wine offered after was clearly mismatched. Sides arrived late, and presentation was sloppy. Far better meals elsewhere in Città della Pieve at a third of the price.

27/07/2025: Highly recommended, this restaurant in the historic center of Gubbio. We had appetizers and first courses, both very generous and tasty. The staff was truly friendly and helpful. If you want to try typical local food, this is a must-try.

03/08/2025: *Cibo buono, servizio da rivedere* Siamo stati in questo ristorante di pesce e, sul piano della cucina, nulla da dire: piatti ben preparati e di buona qualità. Tuttavia, il servizio ha lasciato molto a desiderare. Un foglio nel menù avvisava della carenza di personale, motivo per cui la scelta era limitata: comprensibile, e lo abbiamo accettato senza problemi. Ma poi ci è stato servito un antipasto da condividere… con soli due piatti su quattro, perché "avevano finito i piatti". Ho dovuto usare il piatto di portata, e la cameriera ha commentato: *“Ha fatto benissimo, non ci sono problemi”*. In un locale che propone cene da 50€ a testa, è davvero fuori luogo. Infine, al momento del conto, mia moglie ha chiesto di pagare ma, quando ho detto che volevo farlo io, il cameriere le ha letteralmente strappato il conto di mano per darlo a me. Un gesto poco educato e per nulla professionale. Per concludere, nessun amaro offerto a fine pasto, che sarebbe stato almeno un gesto cortese per compensare l'esperienza. Peccato, perché la cucina merita, ma il servizio rovina tutto.

26/07/2025: Disappointing. At €100 per person (excluding alcohol), there was no room for error — yet several dishes fell short of expectations. The tuna and salmon sushi and nigiri were good, but the fish-to-rice ratio felt unbalanced, with too much fish. Some pieces even had seaweed coming loose. The fatty tuna sashimi was excellent, but the medium-fatty tuna was stringy and lacked finesse. The Wagyu nigiri was especially underwhelming — the meat was bland and offered none of the rich flavor one would expect. The waitress described the fruit sashimi dessert as a mix of exotic fruits like mango, passion fruit, and kiwi. In reality, there wasn’t a single exotic fruit on the plate — just apples, melon, strawberries, watermelon and plums. The free appetisers were really good. We waited a lot between each sushi plate. The decor resembled that of a hotel restaurant — polished, but lacking authenticity or atmosphere. All in all, we expected much more for such a steep price.

07/07/2025: The best restaurant in Perugia! Incredible food prepared fresh by a talented team of chefs. I have had the pleasure of dinning here many times so I have tried almost everything on the menu. Chef Marco is always innovating with new recipes so I still have some new items to try! His dishes are works of art and he takes great care of every plate that leaves the kitchen. The people who are apart of the restaurant treat every customer with care. I have had so many amazing nights at Il Vizio because of the kinds of the staff. My favourite dishes that I would recommend are: • The Chirashi Bowl • Roasted Miso Eggplant • Chu Toro Nigiri • Teriyaki Tuna Tataki • The White Chocolate Namelaka with Mangos and Matcha. 14/08/2025: Disinterested service, mediocre dishes, and even a simple children's pasta dish that's served as spicy, and they don't seem to mind when we point it out. Faded glory. We'll go to the neighbor's.

07/08/2025: We chose to stop for lunch here because of the outdoor courtyard and the good reviews...and we were more than satisfied. We ate typical local cuisine, trying different dishes, and while not all of them were amazing, we really enjoyed some. The waitresses even brought us games and crayons to keep the kids entertained.

31/07/2025: A wonderfully quiet spot at the back of the cathedral. The three of us had lunch on the terrace and enjoyed both the delicious food and the peace and quiet.

28/07/2025: We ate on the terrace on a scorching Sunday in July; the very friendly staff even took care to direct a fan in the right direction. The dishes were delicious and beautifully presented, perhaps the only flaw was the somewhat limited portions. Other than that, the ingredients were fresh and of excellent quality. The location is very charming, next to the Duomo, which you can admire while sitting down to eat. We will definitely eat here again on one of our trips to beautiful Orvieto.

13/07/2025: The food was of adequate quality, although far from what the reviews described. Perhaps I was wrong to order a simple pizza rather than a starter/main course, but I'm describing my experience. The service was particularly poor; I asked twice for beer, chips, and water (which ultimately wasn't brought) because the waitress forgot. We didn't have plates to share the chips because they were brought to us after the pizza plates were cleared, and the other dishes weren't brought to us to eat. As for the very noisy atmosphere, caused by the train and the particularly rude customers, I find it inappropriate for my idea of comfort in a restaurant.

11/07/2025: Whenever I pass by, a stop is a must. I've been coming here for years now. A homey place, very friendly staff, and what can I say, delicious food. The pici are amazing, the meat cooked to perfection. Highly recommended.

29/07/2025: Rustige restaurantje beetje uit de drukte. Overheerlijke schotels en zeer vriendelijk personeel! Ook heel diervriendelijk. Beperktere kaart dan elders maar dan zijn de geserveerde gerechten ook heel lekker!! Typisch Italiaans! Zeker de moeite om te gaan eten!! Tot nu toe het beste wat wij in Umbrië hebben gegeten! Kies zeker de antipasto dell volte mmmm! Een aanrader!

15/07/2025: In the beating heart of the city, this address on a steep street is where you can enjoy the best pasta alla vogonle! Creamy and full of character... a must-try. The rest of the menu looked just as tempting, but time didn't allow us to try it. Impeccable service!
