02/08/2025: Abbiamo cenato un paio di volte e ci siamo trovati molto bene come locale, come cibo (cucina locale) e per la cordialità gentilezza e simpatia della titolare sig.ra Cristina. Da ritornare in una eventuale futura occasione.

28/07/2025: Trattoria semplice con menù umbro di buona qualità. Buona la Ceriola al tartufo nero ed anche l'antipasto di pesce del lago. Servizio efficiente. Buon rapporto prezzo qualità.

26/07/2025: Disappointing. At €100 per person (excluding alcohol), there was no room for error — yet several dishes fell short of expectations. The tuna and salmon sushi and nigiri were good, but the fish-to-rice ratio felt unbalanced, with too much fish. Some pieces even had seaweed coming loose. The fatty tuna sashimi was excellent, but the medium-fatty tuna was stringy and lacked finesse. The Wagyu nigiri was especially underwhelming — the meat was bland and offered none of the rich flavor one would expect. The waitress described the fruit sashimi dessert as a mix of exotic fruits like mango, passion fruit, and kiwi. In reality, there wasn’t a single exotic fruit on the plate — just apples, melon, strawberries, watermelon and plums. The free appetisers were really good. We waited a lot between each sushi plate. The decor resembled that of a hotel restaurant — polished, but lacking authenticity or atmosphere. All in all, we expected much more for such a steep price.

07/07/2025: The best restaurant in Perugia! Incredible food prepared fresh by a talented team of chefs. I have had the pleasure of dinning here many times so I have tried almost everything on the menu. Chef Marco is always innovating with new recipes so I still have some new items to try! His dishes are works of art and he takes great care of every plate that leaves the kitchen. The people who are apart of the restaurant treat every customer with care. I have had so many amazing nights at Il Vizio because of the kinds of the staff. My favourite dishes that I would recommend are: • The Chirashi Bowl • Roasted Miso Eggplant • Chu Toro Nigiri • Teriyaki Tuna Tataki • The White Chocolate Namelaka with Mangos and Matcha. 10/10/2025: I cant believe the service in this place! We ordered aprol and beer, took them 40 mins toget it even after asking for it couple of times! Also they billed us twice for that. The rest of the food had different quality, some very good and some over cooked.. overall for expensive dinner it was disapointing

07/10/2025: We had the apéritovo at Febo. Very cozy alleyway where you can sit and enjoy. They have a decent selection of classic cocktails - great to whet the appetite. We got a small snack alongside it as well.

10/09/2025: The restaurant is located inside the historic residence that the Donini Counts built in 1579 as their summer residence in Umbria, not far from the cities of Perugia and Assisi. The main floor, renovated in the mid-18th century, still retains its classic series of living rooms embellished with doors and canvases painted by Nicola Giuli in 1780. Here, you can admire the concert hall, whose walls are entirely lined with canvases from the school of Francesco Appiani. Appiani also owns a magnificent oil-on-canvas altarpiece in the 18th-century chapel, depicting Saint Philip Neri and the Madonna. On the ground floor, there are five rooms with ceilings frescoed in the first and second half of the 19th century. In the two-hectare park, you can admire a mausoleum dedicated to Countess Laura Donini dating back to 1850 and a dovecote entirely painted in imitation wood from the same period. Along an avenue, five Etruscan cinerary urns from the 3rd century BC are preserved, while six 18th-century terracotta vases stand in front of the Villa's main entrance. The restaurant is housed in the Villa's caretaker's house, in a prime spot surrounded by nature. It offers cuisine that showcases local products combined with Italian excellence to create an unforgettable dining experience. Creativity, seasonality, quality, research, and tradition are the ingredients of every recipe from Chef Tommaso. Samir, the maître d', Giuliano, Luca, Elena, John, and the entire staff welcome guests with a smile, making them feel at ease. The menu is varied, ranging from appetizers (such as beef tongue carpaccio with pickled vegetables, curly lettuce and beetroot sauce, artisanal cured meats from “Granieri di Casalalta” according to the ancient Umbrian tradition: Ash, time and wisdom, flaky focaccia with lard and salt flakes, etc.), to first courses (such as artisanal umbricelli made with water and flour with salted butter, smoked eel and bay leaf powder), to second courses (such as lightly smoked lamb with rose petals, cream of carrots and roasted peppers), to side dishes and desserts (such as the ‘Mon Cheri’, a Black Forest wine flavoured with eau de vie). The wine list is very extensive, ranging from Sauvignon to Marina Cvetic Trebbiano d’Abruzzo Riserva Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC or Pagliaro Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG. The restaurant is also open to non-hotel guests who wish to enjoy a romantic dinner in a classy setting. During the summer, the restaurant offers a garden lunch in the garden adjacent to the Il Lecci dining room, where breakfast and delicious appetizers are served. Throughout the year, lunch is served inside the restaurant, offering an à la carte menu. The menu changes periodically based on the season and the ingredients, which are all top-quality and fresh. The restaurant is located at Via Deruta 43 in San Martino in Campo; a place I highly recommend and sure to win everyone's heart. It has been recently renovated: there is an internal room for groups, the upper floor, a large, recently built interior space, and an outdoor space from which you can admire the park with its three fountains.

26/08/2025: The location is very beautiful, old, and well-renovated. The waitress was friendly, but the service was very slow, even though there were only a few of us in the restaurant. The food was good, although the portions were small for the price. We were just passing through, but I wouldn't return in the future.

19/08/2025: We arrived and the owner was chatting with some customers, probably acquaintances of his. After about 10 minutes of standing and no one to greet us, we decided to sit alone. The interior is very charming, but otherwise, let's ignore it. We waited over half an hour after being seated before anyone arrived. The prices are too high for the quality of the food offered. A pizza and a mixed grill, a glass of wine, and two bottles of water "only" €46. The mixed grill was unfortunately burned and undercooked, and no bread to accompany it unless requested. I don't think I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

07/08/2025: We chose to stop for lunch here because of the outdoor courtyard and the good reviews...and we were more than satisfied. We ate typical local cuisine, trying different dishes, and while not all of them were amazing, we really enjoyed some. The waitresses even brought us games and crayons to keep the kids entertained.

Delicious dishes, cooked with love and carefully presented, excellent service, and a stunning location with a breathtaking view of Lake Trasimeno. Congratulations to Massimo, the chef, Maurizio, Lorenzo, and Manuela, who, with their expertise, manage to bring the sea to Umbria!

14/09/2025: I must offer my heartfelt compliments to the owner of this magnificent osteria. On Monday, September 8th, for dinner, I ate magnificent tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms: a unique flavor and creaminess. Then came an apple and pecorino salad, which was so simple and meticulously crafted, with the pecorino and apple diced into perfectly equal pieces, making it a game to try and decide whether it was apple or pecorino. He also carefully baked the rosemary he used for flavor into the pasta, so it crumbled in the mouth without being too harsh. Congratulations again to this restaurateur, who clearly carries out his work with extreme care and dedication. Oh, and the wine (Montefalco) was sublime!

27/08/2025: The room was very spacious, clean, and had incredible views. The breakfast was very comprehensive, and the staff was always attentive to our dietary restrictions. What I liked most was the location and the friendliness of the staff. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.
