01/02/2025: Very refined restaurant. The location is very suggestive. The fully glazed room offers a view of Colle Val d'Elsa, located right on the hill opposite. The completely open kitchen offers a unique spectacle: seeing chefs of this level at work offers a unique pleasure. As is well known, Chef Arnolfo has two Michelin stars and tasting his dishes releases an unexpected explosion of flavors on the palate. The service is up to the level of catering.

Few tables, menu full of both fish and meat options, a dish that I recommend is the truly exceptional linguine with cuttlefish ink. Courtesy of the owners, price consistent with the proposal. Highly recommended after a relaxing day at the spa! very good!
29/12/2024: On a Sunday when we were passing through, the desire to discover authentic and satisfying flavors led us to Rapolano Terme. Attracted by the reviews on guides and dedicated platforms, we chose to stop at "Osteria Il Granaio", in the small village which alone is worth a detour.
We were welcomed in a warm and professional atmosphere, thanks to an impeccable staff who made us feel immediately at ease. The environment of the tavern is elegant and with attention to detail, with an aesthetic attention that anticipates the quality of the gastronomic experience.
The lunch opened with two Chianina tartare which proved to be impeccable. The meat, of excellent quality, was expertly chopped with a knife and embellished with simple but decisive condiments: capers and a local extra virgin olive oil that deserves a special mention.
We then continued with the first courses, a true tribute to the Tuscan tradition. The pici with Chianina ragù, with an intense and enveloping flavour, made the "scarpet" inevitable. Equally memorable are the tortelli filled with ricotta and spinach, served with a rich sauce of sausage, potatoes and cheese, a well-calibrated explosion of flavours.
Even the desserts chapter did not disappoint: each proposal proved to be a perfect conclusion to the lunch, demonstrating that the attention to detail does not stop at the main courses.
The wine list, well assorted and thoughtful, celebrates local products without giving up a selection of national and international labels.
A heartfelt thank you to the friendly and always helpful staff, who helped make this experience even more pleasant. “Osteria Il Granaio” is a stop that we recommend without hesitation, and which will certainly see us as protagonists again in the future.

16/02/2025: First of all, the service was very friendly.
I was embarrassed and couldn't speak English very well, but he tried his best to communicate with me. I postponed my order twice, but they waited patiently for it.
Of course the food tasted great. It was by far the best homemade noodles I had in Italy.
I had peach pasta with peppers, today's special, truffle gnocchi, and beef marinated in balsamic.
The peach pasta (it says red pepper in the description) is a perfect fit for Korean tastes, and when I asked if it could be made spicier, they brought me more red pepper so I could personally adjust the consistency.
The truffle gnocchi was amazing, from the texture to the taste, as if all the gnocchi I had ever eaten was a lie. I felt like I had been denied life. It tasted so amazing.
The truffle's creaminess wasn't strong, but rather had a subtle scent that lingered for a long time, and the cream also made me think, "This is gnocchi?" The taste wasn't so greasy that I had to keep holding my fork...
Both of them ate their food to the point where they could barely see the floor.
Today's dessert included panna cotta (caramel, berry) and chocolate, and I had the berry panna cotta.
The compote and panna cotta, which seemed to have been boiled themselves, were not too sweet and were good.
I tried this place three times and managed to get it, but if I had given up because I was tired, it would have been a big problem.
It's busy every day except Sunday evening, so be sure to make a reservation before visiting... I visited in the morning, made a reservation, and was able to have dinner.
I am really grateful to this house for allowing me to have a delicious meal. I highly recommend you visit.

09/01/2025: Todo sobre La Gruta en esta noche de invierno fue la perfección, desde la copa de Franciacorta con el bouche de diversión hasta la deliciosa tarta de manzana. La cocina es un paso adelante de la mayoría de la zona sin ser quisquilloso o exagerado. Disfrutamos de un hermoso e igual de sabroso paté de hígado de pollo en delicado brioche, una pasta compartida y dos excelentes platos principales: la pintada rellena y la bistecca alla Fiorentina, todo acompañado de un Talosa Vino Nobile. El servicio proporcionado por nuestros anfitriones era atento y amable, en absoluto congestionado. Si te gusta comer bien pero quieres que tu comida sepa tan bien como parece, La Grotta es para ti.

05/01/2025: An unforgettable experience every time!
I have been to this restaurant four times, and each time it has been simply fantastic. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, perfect for savoring true Tuscan cuisine.
Each dish is a celebration of the flavors of the area: from typical cured meats to first courses of homemade pasta, up to succulent meats cooked to perfection.
The staff is always kind, attentive and ready to make the experience special. The view is breathtaking and adds that extra touch.
I can't wait to return once again. It's the kind of place that makes you fall in love with Tuscany with every bite. Highly recommended!

07/01/2025: Nestled in the medieval village of Monticchiello, near Pienza and the Sienese Val d'Orcia, the Daria restaurant immediately puts the guest at ease. Pleasant temperature, light background music and a smile as soon as you enter the room. The selection is quite challenging because each dish gives the impression of being very tasty and it is exactly like that! From the appetizer to the dessert everything is excellent and well looked after and the desire to return is the predominant feeling. Wide choice of wines and surprise, to accompany the dessert, a liqueur wine with sour cherries which, despite being an alcoholic syrup, is not cloying but rather invites you to drink more.

09/02/2025: I never expected to find such a particular restaurant in a historic village of medieval origin in Asciano. The visible embers and the cut of the meat in show cooking as well as the cold cuts and cheese platters make everything very instagrammable, but I would have expected Tuscan meat and not German one like the one I ate (Simmental) with TAGLIO Fiorentina, therefore not a REAL Fiorentina. All in all we ate well but the price was too high, around €100 per person for 2 appetizers, 1 simmental (meat) cut Fiorentina 1kg and around €300 for a potato and radicchio as a side dish and a €35 wine
Ps we recommend arriving by 12.30pm max 1.00pm they close early on Sundays for lunch.

15/02/2025: Didn't really know what to expect of ciaccino in this place, but wow - not only the person there was super nice, but the quality (and size) of the ones we ordered were a-ma-zing! We thought that ordering the smaller ones (250s) for each of us will be more or less enough, but we couldn't even finish one of these and had to take the other back home. Had to wait maybe 15ish minutes to get them ready, then sat outside on the steps and enjoyed it. Great place, great food!
