24/04/2026: It's absolutely my favorite place to eat in Rosolini. I'll tell you why, following the order of my perceptions: 1) You enter the osteria and find a welcoming setting: warm lighting, artwork decorating the walls, local products visible from the shelves. Excellent background music. In short: elegance and familiarity at the same time; 2) The amuse-bouche is a caress you don't expect, objectively, in an osteria: beautiful (!); 3) Extremely interesting menu: I would have literally tried everything. My impression is that there is a culinary research effort through the preparation and valorization of local products. The ingredients are extremely fresh and of the highest quality, but above all, refinement without starvation: the portions are truly generous; 4) Selection of serving dishes: this too is a form of attention. The serving dishes are all different, all beautiful, all selected specifically for the dish; 5) The wine list is structured according to my ideals. Clear, with precise recommendations. Here too, I see an effort to highlight the local area. The girls serving are excellent at recommending wines to complement the dishes and are very attentive in the tasting. 6) The service deserves a special mention: the girls in charge are extremely kind, knowledgeable about the food and wines, have excellent service attitudes, and are skilled at finding the right balance between discretion and attentiveness. 7) Value for money: excellent. The average cost is 30-40 euros, but considering the quality and preparation of the dishes, the abundance of the dishes, and the overall experience, I'd say it's absolutely adequate.

20/04/2026: sad to say, but by far our worst meal here. Fish was cold and not good, even the stray cats didn’t want to eat the leftovers. Fried artichoke was cold and inedible, impossible to eat. The owners kids ran around kicking a soccer ball in and out of the restaurant the whole time and threw these spark things on the ground that made loud bangs. We didn’t have silverware or napkins and kept having to ask for basic things like that or grab them from neighboring tables. Very overpriced too. The staff is nice but would pass on the food sadly. :(

03/05/2026: The only good food here was the seafood pasta. The pizza left something to be desired. The fritto misto was also good, a little quantity for the price and a lot of fried breadcrumbs on the side. And the service....the lady was arrogant and highly unprofessional! What a shame!

21/04/2026: A genuine neighborhood pizzeria, popular, simply furnished, inexpensive, and the pizzas are ready in just over a minute in the oven. Nice and thin and very tasty! We've been there twice, and it was delicious both times.

16/04/2026: We had the restaurant recommended to us so we gave it a try. It was disappointing on many fronts. The appetizer that was a sampling of items was poor in many respects, the most import of which was that it just was not the quality and the flavors that we’ve had from other similar dishes at other restaurants in the area. After the appetizer, my husband had a pasta with mixed shellfish, and I had a risotto dish with shrimp. That course was fine, but nothing remarkable. The staff was attentive, they spoke some English, however, were dressed like they came from a casual outing with friends. It was acceptable for our quick casual dinner, but not a place we would return to.

10/09/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant for lunch. It's a beautiful location, literally on the seafront. The dishes, however, aren't particularly exciting. The cherry tomato, eggplant, and swordfish starter was good.

29/08/2025: The staff were incredibly kind; we were treated exceptionally well and treated to delicious seafood. The quality-price ratio was unbeatable.

The portions are generous, well-stocked, and carefully presented, satisfying both the eye and the palate. A place where you can experience authentic hospitality, quality, and a love of cooking. A must-visit for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Ortigia seafood. Highly recommended, I will definitely be back!

05/05/2026: It's very serious that a restaurant in the center doesn't accept American Express, the pasta was overcooked and we had lunch next to a whining child (the son of the waiter in the dining room) who ate while listening to cartoon songs blasted from his mother's phone... I felt embarrassed for them😅 More than a restaurant, I'd say it's a low-level inn...

18/04/2026: This is a wonderful and delicious local restaurant owned by the sweetest people. We loved the place and how the owners treated us there. The prices are good. What’s more, they don’t charge you €2 for staying in their place. The food was homemade and delicious. At the end, the owner treats everyone with a complimentary drink or healthy snack. We definitely recommend this place to feel the local experience and the Italian hospitality.

01/05/2026: We were here during the off-season, so there was no outdoor seating. Inside, it was very basic, with tables covered in black tablecloths—not a very pleasant atmosphere. This didn't bother us, as we were only getting takeout pizza anyway. BUT the pizza was excellent! The pizza maker/owner was very friendly! Everyone spoke good English! The waiter who took our order was friendly. Highly recommended!

15/03/2026: Fishmonger's restaurant: we stopped here for the first time on instinct. The owners were delightful, there was a tank with all kinds of shellfish (including American clams). The place was clean, the staff friendly, and everything from the appetizer to the first and second courses was truly delicious, leaving a scent of the sea. For anyone passing through, I recommend stopping by. We'll be back because we had a truly wonderful lunch.

07/12/2025: We had lunch at the Cozza d’Oro on our visit to Sicily. This is our second trip and again this seafood restaurant gem!! The location atmosphere and food was a 10!! Maurizio Bruno and chef and staple of the Cozza d’Oro Cettina were wonderful! We had a variety of fresh seafood also fried and some delicious pasta and seafood dishes ! Highly recommend La Cozza d’Oro of Augusta Sicily .
