12/08/2024: A culinary experience of the royal class! We had the pleasure of dining at Donna Patrizia recently and it was an experience I won't forget. From the first minute we were greeted by the extremely friendly chef Giuseppe, who looked after us excellently throughout the evening. Each surprise dish was not only a visual work of art, but also an absolute delight in terms of taste. The ingredients were fresh and regionally sourced and perfectly balanced. Giuseppe explained the individual components to us after each course and impressed us with his sophistication and creativity. Giuseppe also provided excellent advice when selecting the wine and recommended a wine that went perfectly with our menu. Overall, our visit to the Donna Patrizia restaurant was an unforgettable experience. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who is looking for excellent cuisine at very fair prices and warm people. Thank you Giuseppe!!!

13/08/2024: Trattoria located in a quiet street in Ortigia, slightly outside the centre. The atmosphere is very simple, with outdoor tables that allow you to enjoy the evening. We ordered spaghetti alla siracusana, seafood salad, octopus salad and fried calamari. The dishes were good overall, even if the seafood salads were served hot, while I would have preferred them fresh. The service could be improved, with more attention to detail and courtesy. Overall, a satisfactory experience but with room for improvement.

13/08/2024: The waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, he explained the dishes in a great detail and was very happy to help us understand the menu. The food was good and the fish was very fresh, all in all it was a great experience! Great option for trying out the local food, big portions too and a great value for money. :)

15/08/2024: As the name suggests, there is a focus on middle eastern food. All our food was delicious and well presented. The staff were all really friendly. We'd tried to go there without booking one night and ended up booking for the next night, so I'd recommend booking, at least in the busy tourist season. They have a good selection of reasonably priced wines

14/08/2024: The location is excellent, away from the chaos and close to the sea. The service is kind and punctual. We tasted an appetizer of tartare, a second course of octopus (al mattone) and the swordfish rolls. In my opinion the various condiments overpower the flavor of the fish too much, but maybe it's just a personal taste

27/07/2024: We highly suggest you try this little place. Slightly out of the way (fortunately) from the already central street but at the same time easily reachable. 26/07/2024: Excellent lunch. Quiet place, generous portions and genuine food with local dishes. Particular credit goes to the ricotta ravioli and the very, very good meat second courses. (Meat also seasoned with a fine and tasty olive oil produced in the Buccheri area). The girl who served us was really kind. Positive experience.

07/07/2024: Qualunque cosa ordini ha il sapore della genuinità e della cordialità che sono di casa in questo posto... Pizza sublime ma anche i primi piatti a prezzi che non trovi più da nessuna parte... Un grazie alla proprietaria sempre calorosa nella sua accoglienza... Mangi tanto e bene e spendi davvero poco per cibo di qualità!! Le tagliatelle panna, funghi e prosciutto restano il top del menù!!!

27/08/2024: Magical experience. We ate divinely. The place is very well looked after and the staff are very friendly, despite it being a place with a Michelin star you feel at home and pampered the dishes have an absurd complexity of flavors it was fun for the taste buds and an experience to be repeated. It is a place that I recommend to all those people who want to have an experience that will leave their mark.

25/08/2024: We had dinner on August 23rd, I would like to point out that when booking I declared that I was allergic to molluscs and crustaceans, but still wanted to do the fish tasting. The waiter suggests that I replace two dishes that contained molluscs and crustaceans with other non-fish dishes……. In a starred restaurant I expect greater attention to the person with alternative fish proposals. Very good food and refined, good service, a slightly noisy environment as there was a couple who started talking to the maitre d', probably not used to talking in a low voice. I went to the bathroom and it had a musty smell. At the exit we were accompanied by the waiter, the only one who asked us how the experience had gone and since he wasn't the chef (he wasn't seen) I didn't allow myself to say that it wasn't "starred", the person who at the Our arrival was in reception dressed in a normal way, she didn't bother to come and greet us, remaining comfortably seated at a table not far from us... what can I say? The price and the presentation of the dishes are starry... for the rest there is much to review! Not recommended

26/07/2024: Found this gem as we are staying in the area, food amazing, staff amazing, price amazing! We ended up ordering too much food, they happily gave us a to go box to enjoy the pizza at our hotel.

25/07/2024: We had a wonderful meal here this evening, came across the restaurant randomly as staying nearby. The meal was excellent and absolutely fantastic value. We had (i) meat and cheese board with focaccia, (ii) two large pizzas, (iii) 1 litre water, (iv) 1 litre coke and (v) 1 50 cl Messina Beer and the bill only came to 40 euro or so! We could not believe the value! We would have happily paid twice that for the same meal. We couldn’t finish our meal and so were offered take away boxes. The location is wonderful (car essential to get there as quite rural). We ate outdoors in large green area with fantastic views and a swing set for children. There were many families there too. The service was great; we have no Italian and so staff had enough English to get us there! Lovely warm staff. Ordering was via WhatsApp with menu sent by PDF - which was handy, maybe a drawback for large groups/older people. This was the best meal we’ve had so far during our short week in Sicily. Highly recommend!
