10/03/2026: I returned after a while to eat the paella again, this time the score is 1 almost inedible, dry mussels cooked for a long time and all the other paella condiments also cooked for a long time. Having said that I will never return to that restaurant again.

06/03/2026: My experience from this place didn't "quite" reach what I hoped! I think this place flops with the atitude of the staff and unprofessional behaviour and despising The customer. Specially when you are charching high end prices I should expect a certain level of service. It is a modern restaurant with a open kitchen wich could be nice. But when you see three chefs without a smile, communication or greet it doesn't serve the idea. And The worst is that It don't wanna see three chefs on their phones at the same time during The service that looks so stupid. It IS disrespectful to The customer who sees everything. The dininghall staff weren't much better, picking up plates when we weren't even finnished, they don't fill your empty class while walking pass because they were also busy to go to a group and play their phones. The food not much to say about, I kind of understand the Idea behind it, but it doesn't quite hit The spot. Mackerel was probably the best dish. Ravioli was just Bad. Pasta alla Vongole was ok (too much butter or oil). I think which I was missing was The acidity on many things to balance the taste. And of course what I saw effect a lot how I experienced The taste of the food. Not worth of your monet! I think The owner wasn't working that day but no excuses I wouldn't recomend this place to anyone with my experience.

14/11/2025: A nice restaurant in the old town, not far from the cathedral. Very friendly staff, good food and house wine, reasonable prices. Unfortunately, it suddenly closed during our visit at the end of October/beginning of November.

19/01/2026: The restaurant is top-notch, as always. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the food is tasty and high-quality, from appetizers to dessert. I also stayed there last summer with friends. A fabulous experience, highly recommended.

13/01/2026: STRANGE BUT TRUE!!! After many years of frequenting this place, I find everything has changed. The appetizers used to be served in generous portions and were of good quality, now everything is so miserable and skimpy that not even the Charleston thinks like this.

14/02/2026: On our road trip through Sicily we spent a day in Palermo and wanted an authentic dinner spot in the evening. We found La Staffa and it was honestly perfekt. We came in a great season with good weather, warm but not too hot like peak summer, and the city wasnt overloaded with tourists (even if we are tourists too). La Staffa feels like a real family restaurant. The food was super tasty and the team was very friendly. They chatted with us a bit but also gave us space to enjoy our dinner, which I really liked. The chef has worked abroad before and now is back home, you can feel the passion. And the limoncello... wow, really a dream. I would come back for sure.

07/02/2026: We arrived at our hotel quite late at night and were worried we wouldn’t find anywhere to eat. Luckily, this lovely restaurant nearby stayed open for us until almost 1 a.m. 🌙 and even prepared special pizzas for takeaway 🍕✨ We were so touched by their kindness and willingness to accommodate us so late in the evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming 💛 Their positive energy and warmth immediately made us feel comfortable and cared for. The pizzas were absolutely incredible — truly some of the best we’ve ever had 🤩👌 We were so impressed that we later came back to dine at the restaurant, and once again everything was perfect. The food, the atmosphere, and especially the service were outstanding 🌟 No one has ever taken such good care of us before. They truly made our trip to Sicily unforgettable 🇮🇹❤️ We are so grateful for their warmth and hospitality — it was one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Thank you so much for making our trip so special! 🙏✨

21/12/2025: ⭐️ 1 star – Unreliable and unreachable I ordered a pizza at 8:00 PM. They told me I'd have to wait until 9:45 PM (which is already a long wait). It's 10:30 PM and nothing has arrived. I tried calling several times to at least find out the status of the order, but no one answers. Result: a ruined evening and I was left hungry due to a completely disorganized service. If you can't handle deliveries, at least be fair and let them know. In my opinion, an unreliable pizzeria: terrible experience, I will never order again.

09/02/2026: The hotel's advantage is its location, close to Cefalu, with a bus stop nearby, making it easy to explore Sicily. This hotel caters to active people. The room met our expectations – we paid extra for a sea view. Meals were okay.
