13/04/2026: The worst dinner we've had in Palermo. We paid €50 for one plate of gnocchi, one of ravioli, and two beers. Excessively expensive, the portions were tiny, and the food was bland. You're better off finding somewhere else to eat.

09/04/2026: I regret having to give a low rating because the staff is made up of young and visibly dedicated people, but the overall experience was unfortunately disappointing. The underlying problem is the completely unbalanced quality-price ratio: the cuisine is at the level of a good trattoria (but no better), without anything to justify the final bill. The real sore point is the wine cellar management. It's my fault; I usually avoid restaurants that don't allow you to consult the wine list and its prices before booking, but this time I made an exception and paid dearly. The markup on bottles is unjustifiable: tripling the price of wines commonly found on the market at modest prices is shortsighted. Perhaps my opinion is influenced by a comparison with a very high-quality dinner I had the previous evening (also reviewed), but the disproportion remains objective. At first, I considered leaving it at that, but thinking back on how much I paid for that wine, I felt compelled to leave some feedback. The staff's commitment is commendable, but cost management and the quality of the offerings need a radical overhaul. Right now, it's definitely too expensive for what they offer. EDIT (after reply) Thanks for your reply, but I need to make two clarifications. First: In my text, I never mentioned price differences compared to the menu—I explicitly stated that the problem was the lack of a wine list that could be consulted before booking, not during dinner. Your reply addresses something I didn't say. Second: The argument about bottle availability misses the point. Consulting a wine list with prices isn't useful for checking a single label: it's useful for understanding the restaurant's markup policy before deciding whether to book. This is information the customer has the right to have in advance.

16/06/2026: Everything is excellent... Very fresh fish, cooked with care and attention... I must say that I have now become addicted to their cuisine and at least once a week I have to taste their delicacies...❤️

14/06/2026: A restaurant with excellent cuisine, especially seafood. The seafood soup, scampi, razor clams, and more are a must-try. The owner is friendly and a perfect host. Excellent value for money.

15/07/2026: Salad took 40+ minutes and there was no arugula like stated on the menu. Aperol spritz also took 20 mins to arrive, the 2nd one took 30mins (without orange slice this time) and the restaurant only had 2 tables. Unimpressed.

14/07/2026: Waiters were nice and attentive, spoke good english as well. We went late in the evening (around 22h) and the atmosphere was calm and pleasant. The main course was good and tasty. Nice food quantity for the price of each dish (around 14€ each one) The dessert (cannolo) was good but unfortunately it had a small piece of plastic in the middle of the gelato. We warned the waiter and said we were not going to eat the rest of the desert but we were charged fully for the it nonetheless. Aside from this issue, good experience overall

15/07/2026: We went to Bar Splendori and had a sambuca and a strawberry and lemon vodka cocktail. The bartender was very kind and, after we ordered, brought us a classic fried calzone, fries, and a plain focaccia. Everything was delicious; I'll definitely be back.

14/07/2026: We stopped for an aperitivo on Corso Calatafimi at the Splendori bar. We ordered a sambuca and a vodka strawberry lemon. A fried calzone arrived with it, but I don't eat meat. The waiter came back with something I could eat too. He was very good, a good cocktail, and a nice cold sambuca.

14/07/2026: Our stay at this campsite ended very unpleasantly. In our opinion, the bungalow we rented did not match the description provided during the booking. When we calmly pointed this out to the owner and tried to explain the situation, the conversation took an unexpected turn. From our perspective, the owner raised his voice, and around 10:30 PM, we were asked to leave the bungalow. This was very stressful for us, especially at such a late hour and while we were on vacation. We don't dispute that misunderstandings can occur, but we expected a calm conversation and an attempt to find a solution. Unfortunately, our experience was different, and we wouldn't choose to stay at this campsite again.

14/07/2026: I definitely don't recommend this campsite. It was one of the worst experiences of our travels. Upon arrival, we discovered that the bungalow we were assigned didn't match the one we booked through Booking. When we calmly pointed this out and tried to explain the situation, the owner reacted in a completely unacceptable manner. Instead of resolving the issue, he ordered us to leave the property immediately. In the middle of the night, he stood over us, rushing us, and gave us barely 10 minutes to pack our belongings. We were literally kicked out of the campsite simply because we reported the discrepancy with our reservation. We've never encountered such arrogant and unprofessional treatment of guests before. If you value a peaceful vacation and a genuine customer service approach, definitely choose another place.

14/04/2026: As you can see from the photos, I often come here during my work breaks. From pasta to meat, and now the discovery of fantastic pizzas, you'll only eat delicious food! Fast and friendly service, clean and bright environment! Everything perfect!!!! Highly recommended!!!

06/05/2026: I hate to leave this review, but stopping for lunch at Ragno d'Oro was a terrible choice. I ordered an appetizer and two first courses, both bland, without seasoning, and awful. I sent back a salmon farfalle; it had no salmon, just cream and tomato. The fish appetizer also had NO FLAVOR. I'm sorry, but beware of the absentee customer; not recommended.

24/07/2026: A great spot for a family aperitif during our trip to Sicily in July 2026. The prices are very reasonable and the Italian atmosphere on the terrace is fantastic.

30/05/2026: Great night. We went for a snack at about 8pm and stayed until way past 12am. Food was really tasty. Staff were really busy as the place was packed as there was a birthday party. Great music and the locals were all really friendly. Think we spent about €70 for food and quite a few drinks. Really reasonable.
