07/09/2025: We had lunch on the terrace overlooking the sea, a very beautiful location. Prices were reasonable for a tourist destination. The food was really good. The service was efficient.

13/09/2025: Inexperienced waiters, I would even say, they do not understand what is happening at all. When opening a bottle of prosecco, they flooded the entire room, they tried to wipe a huge puddle with my napkin, then took more napkins, but it did not help. We found a cleaner with a mop in about 10 minutes. The guys were not embarrassed by the situation, they just poured me the rest of the bottle. They do not have glasses for prosecco either. They brought side dishes before the main course in 20 minutes, the meat was indicated in the order and on the check 800 grams, but in reality it was about 300 minus the bone (100-150). The staff really does not understand the service. They never brought the change. I do not recommend this place.

08/09/2025: The ribs were juicy and delicious, my husband had the al magnum pizza and states it was delicious , music latino which gave us a nice atmosphere and the staff were very attentive and welcoming. Top notch, will definitely come back.

09/09/2025: Very inviting and tasty dishes, reflecting true Sicilian identity: we ordered three spaghetti alla marinara and a salmon farfalle; fresh, high-quality grilled vegetables; very fair prices for a centrally located osteria in Palermo. The staff were very welcoming, kind, and helpful; we didn't have to wait long for our dishes, and everyone was friendly. The location is very convenient, just steps from the Palazzo dei Normanni; the only downside is that the tables outside on the veranda are exposed to street traffic, which can be annoying. Overall, an excellent experience. Recommended.

27/08/2025: Perfect for a refreshing break near the Palais Normand. We didn't eat there, just had a drink. The staff is friendly. The terrace is shaded at lunchtime, and fans provide some fresh air.

29/08/2025: The name perfectly reflects a typical Sicilian cuisine of the past. While eating, I was transported back in time; the perfect balance between price and quality is noteworthy. If you're in Palermo, it's a must-try.

24/08/2025: We came here on the recommendation of a local, and found exactly what we were hoping for: authenticity, generous portions, incredibly flavorful dishes, minimal frills and plenty of substance, at very fair prices. I also want to highlight the kindness of the owners: I had forgotten a valuable pair of glasses here; when I returned two days later (the next day was closed), they had been stored in a drawer waiting for me to come and retrieve them. An excellent experience in every way; come and let them guide you through a pasta dish with sardines (unmissable!!!!) and a fried fish or fishballs with tomato sauce.

06/09/2025: I've known it for a while, and I had no doubts. At Pivo Restaurant, you'll find friendliness, professionalism, and quality, but ultimately, "quantity." I didn't remember these portions being truly satisfying. Prices are average, and these days it's hard to find a place where your food and your wallet are in harmony. I highly recommend it.

07/09/2025: Superb dinner! The place is welcoming, as is the highly trained staff. Excellent food...the pasta with sea urchins is superb, generous portions;). The place is also suitable for children. The owners are exquisite and very kind, and to top it off, a cellar of refined wines. We'll see you again soon.

02/09/2025: First courses, green gold, decent black cuttlefish, no fried food at all, 25 euros for goodness sake, tiny squid full of oil, 3 prawns, bitter squid, 15 euros for 4 cod meatballs with mayonnaise on top, I changed my mind

27/08/2025: Warm and welcoming atmosphere, an open kitchen, and, most importantly, no cooking odors (the extractor hood works). Greek/Apulian cuisine. Barbara and her waiter welcomed us, two poles of the same compass. Friendly, kind, and attentive; a professional yet warm welcome. The à la carte menu is limited, but all dishes are fresh in appearance and substance. Traditional Apulian and Greek dishes are prepared with a simplicity that highlights the essence of the quality ingredients used. Recommended: YES

02/10/2025: Varisco is a comfort zone like few others, a safe haven, a place to be pampered, and a little corner worth protecting because it's increasingly rare in Milan. A casual yet welcoming bar that makes you feel like you're in a homey courtyard. Everything is simple and authentic, from the wine to the pucce, while the platters featuring those Apulian products are fabulous (the taralli are delicious!). An aperitivo with friends, at reasonable prices, that happily flows into the evening. It's family-run, and they're always super kind, helpful, and friendly. Come once and you'll want to come back again and again!

06/09/2025: We ordered a pizza and pasta with eggplant, among other ingredients. All the dishes were delicious and substantial in terms of quantity. We highly recommend it, although the access Google Maps indicated was a bit tricky; it's located behind the royal palace in one of the small streets. The waiter was very competent and always attentive to our every need. In addition to the dishes, we ordered a half-liter of the house Rosso wine, which was acceptable. And the whole thing came to a bill of… €21. We were amazed, especially after spending several days there and having lunch and dinner there several times. I'll leave some photos here of the dishes and their impressive wood-fired oven. We loved the place.

07/09/2025: A place with exquisite food and quality ingredients (even delicious pizzas with whole wheat dough). Very kind and young staff. The only flaw was the waiting time to order, so in my opinion you should get more staff to take orders. Other than that, everything is EXCELLENT

07/09/2025: An immersive experience in a simple, homey culinary setting. The atmosphere is that of a traditional village trattoria, with all the hallmarks that distinguish it, from the simple and authentic service to the quality of the products and ingredients, which, in their freshness and deliciousness, seem to be freshly picked from the in-house cellar. It was truly an experience that pleasantly surprised us, something we weren't expecting. Kudos to the management.

14/09/2025: A beautifully designed, sophisticated, and very unique venue on the ground floor of the former stables of Palazzo Pantelleria. We dined outside, enjoying raw fish dishes and busiate pasta with calamari and Trapani-style pesto, in the evocative atmosphere of Largo Cavalieri di Malta, where the Palazzo stands majestically, behind Piazza San Domenico. An experience to be repeated!!!

04/09/2025: A very nice restaurant in the historic center of Palermo. It's located in a very quiet area with few people, so the atmosphere is perfect if you eat outside. The food is excellent, especially since they use vegetables from their own garden, so the quality of the ingredients is excellent. The owner is very nice and friendly. Excellent place; if I return to Palermo, it will be the first place I book to eat.
