Maurizio was very kind and welcoming. The caponata was the best I've tasted in the Aeolian Islands, and the stuffed squid with sauce was wonderful! Thank you.

For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)

The octopus as an appetizer was excellent, the Aeolian pasta was decent, but the dessert was a shame! The cannolo was definitely not fresh, the wafer was soft and stale, the filling was acidic, it ruined all the flavors built in the previous courses. After one bite we left it aside

We waited a bit to be seated but it was worth it. Abundant and quality food, kind and helpful staff, price appropriate to what you consume. Exquisite caponata, tasty and abundant pasta, exquisite fish main courses. Must try, Maurizio is the best, very friendly and sunny.

We were welcomed by Maurizio with great warmth, we chose this restaurant for its vegetarian menu with vegan options and we were pleasantly satisfied! Everything was very tasty and the pasta dishes were plentiful, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the service perfect. I recommend it to everyone, especially to those looking for veg cuisine on Vulcano!

17/05/2026: Enchanting place, impeccable service, the freshest fish I've ever eaten, and not to mention Nino, the owner, a truly special person. Highly recommended.
16/05/2026: A welcoming and elegant restaurant on the seafront of Capo d'Orlando. The staff is friendly, fast and helpful. The fish is excellent, fresh and well cooked. Despite the restaurant being full, the dishes arrived quickly. The tuna tartare was excellent, fresh and well seasoned. In particular, the first course of busiate pasta, courgettes and prawns was unique, especially the swordfish caponata. The tuna pieces were also excellent, nice and full-bodied and tasty. I wouldn't have added carrots. Anyway, highly recommended.

17/10/2025: Do you know what "shrinkflation" is? Essentially, it's when the price of a product is kept the same but the quantity is reduced. These rustici cost €1.50 and would once have been called mini-sized... now, however, they're the "normal" size. Very good, yes, but small and therefore expensive. P.S. I understand the answer, but in that case, there are two options: everyone else uses much lower-quality raw materials, or they have a lower profit margin. (The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.)
