13/07/2025: I considered it one of the best pizzerias in town... last night, out of five, four of us had a Sicilian pizza, recommended by the staff as one of the best... As a result, all four of us had gastrointestinal problems. Coincidentally, only the one who ate the pizza (which was decent compared to before) was "saved." What a disappointment...!

05/07/2025: Nice place open until late at night where they serve not only pizzas but also dishes. Good pizza but average. Crazy prices on desserts. The millefoglie is described as transcendental but it turns out to be a normal dessert. Overall low quality/price ratio.

The food is truly delicious, prepared with quality ingredients and presented with care. 29/06/2025: Egoístamente no quiero correr la voz sobre este restaurante demasiado ampliamente porque tiene que ser una de las joyas culinarias de Catania. Las repetidas visitas han confirmado que Luciano y su hijo Piero saben exactamente lo que están haciendo para proporcionar mariscos frescos, pasta excelente y cualquier tipo de entradas a una clientela en gran medida local. La relación calidad-precio es excepcional, desde la comida hasta la bebida, y hay una carta de vinos decente. Es evidente que se trata de un restaurante de barrio, y aunque ese barrio –cerca de la estación de tren– podría no parecer demasiado salubre, sería negligente no comer aquí. Catania tiene tantos buenos lugares para comer, pero aun así esto es un punto destacado.

18/05/2025: La comida es realmente genial, el antipasto de marisco para compartir es muy fresco y abundante, el espagueti vongole es muy sabroso y las almejas son grandes. La casa se levantó del barril complementó muy bien los platos locales. También ofrecieron un licor complementario y galletas para bañarse para terminar el banquete. Totalmente feliz experiencia.

09/07/2025: On the occasion of a very special occasion, we decided to visit a very well-known and renowned restaurant in our city for dinner. It's located in the historic center, right on a street that connects Piazza Lionardo Vigo, adjacent to the church dedicated to the co-patron saint, San Sebastiano, to the Piazza del Duomo, overlooked by the Acireale Town Hall and the Cathedral. Because it's summer, the pizzeria moves all its seating outside, in a small green villa overlooking the square. We were greeted by a very young, yet expert, competent, and above all friendly staff. After a reasonable wait, we received a portion of classic, simple French fries and then two pizzas: a "Norma" and a "Profumata." We enjoyed all three courses because they were prepared in a reasonable amount of time, with impeccable ingredients and cooking, which truly satisfied our taste buds. Despite the very common products, tradition and quality, as always, outweigh innovation and originality when not combined. The restaurant is fully equipped, even inside, and the menu offers a wide selection of dishes, divided by category, as well as traditional desserts from our local cuisine. The bill was also absolutely reasonable for what we ordered and the service we received from all the staff, even when making our reservation. The quiet and simple yet formal atmosphere, along with the excellent dinner offered, made this moment of remembrance an occasion we will never forget. We at MG Reviews recommend Vecchia Aci for any need, because everything is systematically tailored to your convivial setting. We noticed this in our situation and also observed it at the tables adjacent to ours, which were seated by a very diverse group of people. Everything listed above is simply the result of particular attention to management, organization, and expertise in the sector in various aspects, such as supervision, collaboration with other staff members, dedication, and listening to the customer; in this way, they manage to feel appreciated. Todo el personal que trabaja en este restaurante encantadores desde el primero hasta el último. Giuseppe siempre pendiente de todo y de que cada detalle y cada persona esté atendida correctamente en todo momento. Si regresamos a Catania no duremos en volver a visitarlos. The food is second to none, everything was truly perfect. My spaghetti with creamed vegetables and catch of the day was plentiful (which was much appreciated) and delicious. 30/07/2025: Unfortunately it only happened once, I think only with me, but the waiter didn't bring the pizza at a decent time and I was freezing outside in the sea air, so I had to remove the review from a while ago which was impeccable.

23/07/2025: For our second experience with them...catastrophic!!! They completely forgot about us and above all never had the honesty to tell us...the boss, very vehement to save face no doubt, ended up presenting us with the bill because unable to serve us...a tuna tataki and a spaghetti dish 😅🤣 we ended up in another restaurant which served us very quickly 😬

08/07/2025: I really like it here; the condiments and butcher counter are well-stocked and always fresh. The service is very fast despite the large number of customers at certain times of the evening, depending on the season. Mr. Mario is SUPER, always professional and smiling, despite being tired from the workload! Overall, between the service and the quality of the food served, it's definitely one of the FEW sandwich trucks you can always rely on!

11/08/2025: Pizzeria surrounded by greenery. Good typical Sicilian pizza. Service was generally good, although we asked for cantaloupe melon and he didn't even know what it was. It tasted like a liqueur. 😅 But he was a kid, so we'll forgive him. There's also a children's play area with a slide, a swing, a pendulum, and a little plastic house. Not bad!

22/04/2025: Questo posto è perfetto per assaporare la genuinità del pesce fresco ,la professionalità del gestore e la gentilezza di Paolo ,per non parlare del padrone che ci ha accolto con battute ironiche e scherzose facendoci sentire come di casa ....consigliato e azzeccato.

14/04/2025: Locale di gusto e buona cucina ero stato portato qui da colleghi catanesi e avevo mangiato molto bene. I prezzi erano alti ma valeva la pena tornare e infatti sono tornato d ad solo e con grande sorpresa mi hanno fatto sedere in un tavolo all’angolo della sala davanti al muro. I piatti portati erano miseri rispetto alla volta precedente. Gamberi microscopici evidentemente prodotto surgelato da supermercato. Vino portato già versato nel bicchiere. 40 minuti per avere un piatto di pasta mentre cameriere e proprietario si pavoneggiano ai tavoli degli amici. Non adatto a clienti occasionali solo amici fidati
