02/02/2026: I went to this agriturismo for a social lunch for an association I belong to. We were served a wide variety of appetizers, many of them hot, and all excellent. Next, and without a long wait, we were served two first courses with the option of seconds. The second course arrived immediately after, also consisting of two different meat specialties. To finish, ricotta-filled razor clams, custard, and chocolate cream. Of course, wine, still water, sparkling water, and Coke were also included. Coffee and liqueurs were also included. All of the quality was excellent and excellent value. I should point out that vegetarians were also catered for with a special menu.

01/02/2026: The food quality is excellent, the staff is friendly and helpful, the only downside is the lack of space and too much background noise.

09/12/2025: The service, friendliness, and helpfulness are top-notch. First of all, everything we ate was delicious, and I don't want to talk about the prices because if you eat well, you have to pay. Unfortunately, the downside is the small portions, considering it's a trattoria, and the extremely slow service between courses. I also didn't receive a side dish, which the kitchen forgot, and which was later removed from the bill at my request.

23/03/2026: I went to this restaurant driven by the enthusiasm of the videos I'd seen online, expecting an experience that lived up to expectations. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. After being seated, we had to wait over an hour for a dish to arrive. Furthermore, we couldn't even order from the menu: several dishes weren't available, a fact that hadn't been clearly communicated to us from the beginning. Another major disappointment was the absence of Mrs. Grazia, who in the videos seems to be the heart of the restaurant but was never seen in the dining room. The service overall was terrible: disorganized, the waiters kept getting the wrong tables to deliver the dishes, slow and inattentive to the customers. A truly negative experience that doesn't even begin to reflect the image portrayed online.

22/03/2026: I went to Cavaliere Roxy following an event that I've already given a negative review to the event agency. As for the venue, the food was quite adequate, but the service, unfortunately, lacked professionalism and etiquette, as the staff would bring the dishes by putting their fingers inside them, sometimes even touching the plates. I also found a hair in my appetizer, which I promptly had changed. Overall, the venue is mediocre; note the cobweb-covered ceilings.

28/02/2026: We went there twice for lunch and had pasta and bruschetta. If you're looking for good, affordable food, you'll definitely find something here; we were very satisfied.

26/02/2026: We went for dinner and lunch the next day. It's a very nice, typically local place. We were welcomed very warmly and the food was equally delicious. Carlotta and Renata are two talented and very professional women. If we ever return to Catania, we'll definitely stop by. A big hug from the crazy Neapolitans Imma and Angelo.

26/12/2025: We just got back and I have to say I already miss it. We only stayed one night and it was a wonderful experience, everything was unique. To those who say it's not well-maintained, I say you're talking because you have to talk nonsense, the stove... the carbon monoxide is already in your brain. Laura, a very sweet person who instills calm and sweetness, and Giuseppe, very nice, the mirror of happiness. In short, my family and I had a wonderful time, we will definitely return.

15/10/2025: We stayed just one night, it was beautiful, the property is immersed in a forest of chestnut and apple trees, everything is cooked by the owners, it feels like being in a fairy tale!

12/03/2026: I was excited to have some fresh seafood right next to the fish market but this place fell flat. The dishes we ordered (octopus appetizer, tuna and mixed seafood pasta) all disappointed for one reason or another. The octopus was overlooked and chewy, the tuna was cut unevenly and thus some parts were significantly over cooked while others were just about right. The pasta dish disappointed on numerous levels. Add in two bottles of water and the 30€ we paid for lunch seems like highway robbery when compared to our dinner the previous night. The only real high point was the dense bread they served with the appetizer.

27/12/2025: There's no need for many words; the dishes are well-balanced in flavor, quantity, and price. A charming location nestled on the eastern coast of Sicily. Recommended for Giovanni, couples, and families. On a windy winter day, their cuisine took me back to the flavors of summer. The only flaw that needs addressing is the overly homey and rushed customer service.

15/02/2026: On Sunday 15th February, after a snowshoe hike on Mount Etna, we stopped at a restaurant in Fornazzo. We ate very well. The restaurant was well-furnished and the quality of the food was truly excellent. I recommend the strozzapreti with mushrooms and the pistachio tortellini prepared by them. The chef deserves 4/5 stars for the quality. The staff in the restaurant were very helpful and welcoming.

28/05/2025: Very good pastries, fresh croissants, delicious cream. I liked the savory options less, but still not bad. Good coffee and cappuccino.

21/12/2025: This restaurant is located at the beginning of the famous Caltagirone steps, and has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Service is prompt and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, especially the "La Scala" pasta, which we would have eaten again. The fries were hot and crispy, and the grilled meat was delicious. A great experience.

09/12/2025: We went for a company lunch! Everything was excellent! The place was welcoming and the set menu delicious! Italian appetizers (with special mention for the frittatina with peppers and caponata), two pasta dishes (one with walnut sauce and the other, the chef's signature, "la scala" with fennel and sausage), and dessert to finish! The service was impeccable, the staff were very kind and attentive! We will definitely visit you again! Thank you.

15/02/2026: Negative experience with the owner's welcoming and customer service. Nine of us went, and since there were no free tables, we noticed three small tables in a small recess near the bathrooms. Since one table was in front of the bathroom door, we were trying to move it to a spot away from the door and the smells coming from the bathrooms. The owner, in an arrogant tone and calling out to all the diners, told us that the tables shouldn't be moved and that if we wanted to, we had to wait for them to become free and then sit at separate tables. I reiterated that, due to hygiene regulations, the table can't be in front of the bathroom door, leaving customers to eat while also smelling the smells of those who went to the bathroom. Despite this, she urged us, in a tone that wasn't nice or friendly, to find other solutions, humiliating us and attracting the attention of all the customers. I will never return to this establishment again, nor will I recommend any of my acquaintances (of whom there are quite a few) to do so as long as the establishment is managed by people who lack courtesy and friendliness towards customers.

15/02/2026: Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The owner was rude and impolite toward customers. Just because we were slightly moving the tables, she reacted in an exaggerated and unprofessional manner, creating a truly unpleasant situation. Furthermore, table service is not provided without a receipt, a fact that wasn't clearly explained. Overall, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I won't be returning.

22/03/2026: I'm a vegetarian and I found excellent dishes! Unique, inviting, and delicious! The atmosphere is wonderful; Boddan and Salvo make you feel at home!

22/03/2026: I don't recommend this place. They made fun of us over the bill. They charged us €55 for a wine instead of €35. I asked the waiter the price before he opened it, and he actually told me €35. They didn't show me a wine list, so the price was stated verbally. When we paid the bill, the owner claimed the waiter, who was a regular for the evening, had made the mistake. Despite our complaints, they still charged us €55. Which, by the way, is not worth €55 at all (checked prices online, not even with the restaurant markup). We tried to explain that if we'd known they were charging €55, we wouldn't have bought it. He insists it's the waiter's fault, that he should charge us €35 and ask the waiter for the additional €20. But he doesn't, and he doesn't even offer to help us with the price. The next day, we pass by. The owner sees us from a distance and comes over, thinking he was trying to apologize. Instead, he reiterates that it's the waiter's fault, that he should ask him for the difference, but that the register is closed and he can't give it to us (a ridiculous excuse). Not only that, he tells us that they have a "wine cellar worth €40,000" (do they think we believe that?!), that fifteen euros (editor's note: he can't subtract, it's 20) is nothing. He basically called us poor people who complain about twenty euros, no apology, no refund, not even a free coffee. It's clear they play these games with tourists. Shame on you. Too bad, the food is good. But with all the tourism, they're always crowded, and no scruples. I've read similar reviews; it's probably a bit of a habit, cheating customers.

01/08/2025: Terrible experience. The tomato in the Margherita was poor. Making a good Margherita is the foundation. The only positive note was the waitress (not the owner), who was kind and cheerful. I'm sorry to have to leave this review, but it's unfair to offer this type of product considering the price paid.

04/11/2025: A beautiful Sicilian trattoria with insanely delicious seafood and a terrace overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. The owner is very helpful, serving, greeting, and bidding farewell to guests himself.

04/11/2025: Absolutely avoid this place, it's a tourist trap!!! What a rip-off at the end of our trip to Sicily! We were with friends and ordered four Spritz cocktails with a large plate of grilled fish as an appetizer! We had this dish several times during our week in Sicily (we usually budgeted 15 to 20 Euros each time). What a nasty surprise to find that this dish for four cost 80 Euros!! What a disgrace!! After this bad experience, we checked the reviews, which are all too common.

06/03/2026: A traditional Sicilian fish restaurant in the deepest part of the harbor, right on the pier. The 1970s feel palpable. But the fish and seafood are incredibly fresh and delicious. For decades, classic seafood dishes have been served here at a very high level. They also offer rare gems of "peasant cuisine," such as salicornia with garlic and olive oil. Oysters and lobster are also on offer, not to mention pasta allo scoglio, topped with a variety of shellfish, not just the inexpensive mussels. The owner isn't getting any younger, but he runs the place with a steady hand, from the crates of seafood displayed at the entrance to the attentive service in the dining room. The wine list is extensive and well-curated, featuring some real gems. Here, you get a lot: classic dishes cooked to a high standard, without any modern gimmicks, all at very fair prices.
