25/12/2025: I was at a wedding in the summer and I have to say the location was very beautiful but everything else was forgettable!! The waiters were arrogant and rude, even to the people in the dining room! The head waiter scolded a 10-year-old girl who wanted to sing because it wasn't the right time... the food was brought in so quickly that you didn't even have time to enjoy it... The contract (and I know what I'm talking about) stated that entry was on the boat and the location was rented until 3:00... there wasn't even a hint of a boat tour and at 2:00 they made us understand that we had to leave by starting to turn off the lights! At 1:30 they made the DJ turn off the music since he had a contract with them until 2:30 (since they had stayed that way) and the DJ who until that moment had made everyone in the room dance!!!! At the time of the dessert buffet there was supposed to be an open bar, unfortunately no one was told where it was... again at dessert time there wasn't even half a bottle of water on the table and that day it was 38 degrees!!!! It's a shame because it could have been a wonderful evening but instead they ruined it a bit!!!

01/02/2026: The place was empty, and maybe I understood why. The mussels were horrible, dry, small, and not cleaned properly. The spaghetti with sardines, soaked in oil, was very heavy.

04/01/2026: In general, the food is appreciable, the table service is modest, the atmosphere is nice, but unfortunately I had a bad experience with the cashier who demanded and insinuated that I was a bad payer for the table cover charge, but in reality she was just wrong... I even had to be chased all the way to the parking lot for this mini two euro cover charge... Shameful

27/12/2025: We went to eat pizza yesterday on Boxing Day, the pizza and portion of chips were excellent and very abundant, the place is welcoming with its colors and also the service

26/12/2025: We just got back and I have to say I already miss it. We only stayed one night and it was a wonderful experience, everything was unique. To those who say it's not well-maintained, I say you're talking because you have to talk nonsense, the stove... the carbon monoxide is already in your brain. Laura, a very sweet person who instills calm and sweetness, and Giuseppe, very nice, the mirror of happiness. In short, my family and I had a wonderful time, we will definitely return.

15/10/2025: We stayed just one night, it was beautiful, the property is immersed in a forest of chestnut and apple trees, everything is cooked by the owners, it feels like being in a fairy tale!

We booked for a Sunday, but the Saturday before we called to let them know that we couldn't come the next day because we were sick, and that they needed to book for the following Sunday. Sunday arrived and we were told they hadn't booked us and that they didn't have any accommodations for us—at most, outside in the December cold. Obviously, considering we were sick, we refused. They let us go without apologizing and without taking any responsibility. Arrogance! We wanted to try it, but we'll definitely never try it again!

31/01/2026: We seat only for drinks since opinions about food are avarage. Camapari spritz was good. Service was good. When it was raining drops fall on us throw umbrella. Waited was smoking next to my table

20/09/2025: The villa is beautiful, but the staff is unprofessional and the food is poor. I would have given it one star, but the second star follows the location, which we can't complain about.

21/12/2025: This restaurant is located at the beginning of the famous Caltagirone steps, and has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Service is prompt and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, especially the "La Scala" pasta, which we would have eaten again. The fries were hot and crispy, and the grilled meat was delicious. A great experience.

09/12/2025: We went for a company lunch! Everything was excellent! The place was welcoming and the set menu delicious! Italian appetizers (with special mention for the frittatina with peppers and caponata), two pasta dishes (one with walnut sauce and the other, the chef's signature, "la scala" with fennel and sausage), and dessert to finish! The service was impeccable, the staff were very kind and attentive! We will definitely visit you again! Thank you.

16/11/2025: The negative reviews are incomprehensible: Our experience at this charming place was completely positive. We ordered pizzas and were pleasantly surprised by the choice of ingredients: they use zero-mile Sicilian flour from the Sant'Alfio mill, and you can taste the use of high-quality artisanal Italian mortadella and prosciutto. The pizzas were incredibly light and flavorful, with a perfect crust. The value for money is excellent, given that pizzas of this quality would cost at least double elsewhere. I also tried the Sicilian pizza, which I found dry and very good; the only complaint was that it was lightly topped on the inside, perhaps due to its non-standard size.

01/01/2026: Beautiful location on the Acireale marina, perched on the edge of the cliff, surrounded by the sea, with huge windows offering a dreamlike view. Excellent, deliciously prepared food, even for our New Year's Eve celebration, served with warmth and kindness. Excellent and friendly, they made us feel at ease at every opportunity. Thank you.

04/01/2026: Very nice, private atmosphere with a wide selection of desserts to order, but not only that, they also make excellent aperitifs or cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, or you can also order a herbal tea, all in a great and bright environment. We personally ordered 2 Aperol Spritz with a side of rotisserie and various chips.

04/01/2026: Absurd prices, the angry and grumpy white-bearded counter attendant turned a moment of pleasure into arguments and hassles. It's definitely changed management; before, it was a place you could go with peace of mind. If it hasn't changed management, I advise the owners to be very careful with their staff.

04/01/2026: The sandwich isn't bad; they don't know the difference between pulled pork and a meat burger. Misleading advertising, as is the waiter's response. They pass off Chianina as pulled pork, but it isn't. I pay 3 euros per person for a rickety, torn table. The prices are like those of a restaurant, but it isn't. It's a shame; I had high expectations for this place, but they weren't met.
