04/01/2026: In general, the food is appreciable, the table service is modest, the atmosphere is nice, but unfortunately I had a bad experience with the cashier who demanded and insinuated that I was a bad payer for the table cover charge, but in reality she was just wrong... I even had to be chased all the way to the parking lot for this mini two euro cover charge... Shameful

27/12/2025: We went to eat pizza yesterday on Boxing Day, the pizza and portion of chips were excellent and very abundant, the place is welcoming with its colors and also the service

16/02/2026: The service was initially very good and friendly, we order pizza as starter and 8 different main dishes to share between 5. Pizza was the best meal we had. Unfortunately m the waitress got one of the orders wrong and when we told hermano she said that what we ordered was finished and brought something else instead. Pastas were okish but nothing special. We ordered three steaks but only one was cooked accordingly to what we wanted, when we challenged the waitress about the temperature of the meat she tried to make excuses but accepted to take it back. I ordered the mixed fished grill and got 3 very small pieces of calamari and 2 dwarf king prawns for a price of €20, overall very disappointed with the experience.

25/01/2026: A wonderful place. Delicious kohlrabi pasta and amazing tiramisu. The owner is incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it.

01/02/2026: The place was empty, and maybe I understood why. The mussels were horrible, dry, small, and not cleaned properly. The spaghetti with sardines, soaked in oil, was very heavy.

28/02/2026: We went there twice for lunch and had pasta and bruschetta. If you're looking for good, affordable food, you'll definitely find something here; we were very satisfied.

26/02/2026: We went for dinner and lunch the next day. It's a very nice, typically local place. We were welcomed very warmly and the food was equally delicious. Carlotta and Renata are two talented and very professional women. If we ever return to Catania, we'll definitely stop by. A big hug from the crazy Neapolitans Imma and Angelo.

26/12/2025: We just got back and I have to say I already miss it. We only stayed one night and it was a wonderful experience, everything was unique. To those who say it's not well-maintained, I say you're talking because you have to talk nonsense, the stove... the carbon monoxide is already in your brain. Laura, a very sweet person who instills calm and sweetness, and Giuseppe, very nice, the mirror of happiness. In short, my family and I had a wonderful time, we will definitely return.

15/10/2025: We stayed just one night, it was beautiful, the property is immersed in a forest of chestnut and apple trees, everything is cooked by the owners, it feels like being in a fairy tale!

01/01/2026: Beautiful location on the Acireale marina, perched on the edge of the cliff, surrounded by the sea, with huge windows offering a dreamlike view. Excellent, deliciously prepared food, even for our New Year's Eve celebration, served with warmth and kindness. Excellent and friendly, they made us feel at ease at every opportunity. Thank you.

16/11/2025: The negative reviews are incomprehensible: Our experience at this charming place was completely positive. We ordered pizzas and were pleasantly surprised by the choice of ingredients: they use zero-mile Sicilian flour from the Sant'Alfio mill, and you can taste the use of high-quality artisanal Italian mortadella and prosciutto. The pizzas were incredibly light and flavorful, with a perfect crust. The value for money is excellent, given that pizzas of this quality would cost at least double elsewhere. I also tried the Sicilian pizza, which I found dry and very good; the only complaint was that it was lightly topped on the inside, perhaps due to its non-standard size.

27/12/2025: There's no need for many words; the dishes are well-balanced in flavor, quantity, and price. A charming location nestled on the eastern coast of Sicily. Recommended for Giovanni, couples, and families. On a windy winter day, their cuisine took me back to the flavors of summer. The only flaw that needs addressing is the overly homey and rushed customer service.

18/11/2025: Food is not bad, but not great either. Considering the high price, I was expecting better. Considering that we are in a fishing place, I was expecting better fish quality and offer. What disappointed me is the service: none ever smiled to us, no conversation at all, no presentation of the menu at all, no questions about our satisfaction. The location is great.

21/12/2025: This restaurant is located at the beginning of the famous Caltagirone steps, and has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Service is prompt and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, especially the "La Scala" pasta, which we would have eaten again. The fries were hot and crispy, and the grilled meat was delicious. A great experience.

09/12/2025: We went for a company lunch! Everything was excellent! The place was welcoming and the set menu delicious! Italian appetizers (with special mention for the frittatina with peppers and caponata), two pasta dishes (one with walnut sauce and the other, the chef's signature, "la scala" with fennel and sausage), and dessert to finish! The service was impeccable, the staff were very kind and attentive! We will definitely visit you again! Thank you.

20/09/2025: The villa is beautiful, but the staff is unprofessional and the food is poor. I would have given it one star, but the second star follows the location, which we can't complain about.

10/02/2026: Low-quality meat with a putrid aftertaste, so not even fresh, very high prices and zero cleanliness. A good overhaul of everything would be good before people end up in hospital for poisoning or something else...

04/01/2026: The sandwich isn't bad; they don't know the difference between pulled pork and a meat burger. Misleading advertising, as is the waiter's response. They pass off Chianina as pulled pork, but it isn't. I pay 3 euros per person for a rickety, torn table. The prices are like those of a restaurant, but it isn't. It's a shame; I had high expectations for this place, but they weren't met.

15/02/2026: Negative experience with the owner's welcoming and customer service. Nine of us went, and since there were no free tables, we noticed three small tables in a small recess near the bathrooms. Since one table was in front of the bathroom door, we were trying to move it to a spot away from the door and the smells coming from the bathrooms. The owner, in an arrogant tone and calling out to all the diners, told us that the tables shouldn't be moved and that if we wanted to, we had to wait for them to become free and then sit at separate tables. I reiterated that, due to hygiene regulations, the table can't be in front of the bathroom door, leaving customers to eat while also smelling the smells of those who went to the bathroom. Despite this, she urged us, in a tone that wasn't nice or friendly, to find other solutions, humiliating us and attracting the attention of all the customers. I will never return to this establishment again, nor will I recommend any of my acquaintances (of whom there are quite a few) to do so as long as the establishment is managed by people who lack courtesy and friendliness towards customers.

15/02/2026: Unfortunately, I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The owner was rude and impolite toward customers. Just because we were slightly moving the tables, she reacted in an exaggerated and unprofessional manner, creating a truly unpleasant situation. Furthermore, table service is not provided without a receipt, a fact that wasn't clearly explained. Overall, the customer service leaves much to be desired. I won't be returning.
