31/12/2025: Dinner with friends, we enjoyed some good pizzas with very digestible dough, the staff was kind.

29/12/2025: Good pizza, quiet atmosphere, and good pizza. I highly recommend this pizzeria, with very large, well-topped pizzas. It's a shame, though, that the website only shows photos/descriptions of burgers that aren't actually on the menu. So, if you're looking for something else, be careful. Reservations are convenient via WhatsApp. If you have small children, it's best to let them know in advance, or you might not find anything for them to eat. In conclusion, it's good... but please update your information on the website!

13/05/2026: A café and pastry shop where you can stop for breakfast or a rotisserie. I know they serve first and second courses for lunch, and the menu changes daily. The friendly and helpful staff makes this place a must-visit when you're in the area. I highly recommend it.

A place where true traditional cuisine continues to live, maintaining its identity intact over time. 2 people: a trio as an appetizer: a pasta alla norma, a mixed roast fish, fish meatballs, a lemon sorbet and two small cannoli accompanied by almond wine 90 euros

26/05/2026: The food was unimpressive, with blue fish, anchovies, and sardines. The bill was incredibly expensive, and obviously, without even a receipt. Three sardines alla beccafico cost €18 (not listed on the menu), a glass of white wine €10, and six breaded anchovies €12. The bill, handwritten on a piece of paper and without a receipt, came to about €50 per person. Only later did we understand why the place was so empty; there were only three of us, clearly customers are running away. Carlo

02/05/2026: As soon as we entered, we were asked if we had a reservation; when we said no, they seated us at a table for two anyway, but the welcome was rather cold and uncaring. We ordered an appetizer of raw and cooked fish, but the dishes were disappointing: small portions and, even worse, sand. After pointing this out to the waiter, the response was even more disconcerting: we were told that "sometimes they don't wash properly." A truly unprofessional excuse. Unfortunately, the first course, a calamarata, also had the same sand problem, rendering the dish inedible. The experience was made even more unpleasant by the owner's attitude, who remained standing for quite some time, insistently observing the room. I felt uncomfortable, almost under scrutiny, rather than welcomed. When it came time to get the bill, the disappointment was complete: the prices were decidedly too high for the quality and attention to detail of the dishes served. A very negative experience, from every perspective. We won't be returning.

30/04/2026: I dived into the flavors of Il Porticciolo in Capomulini... If you're looking for an authentic fresh seafood experience in Sicily, Il Porticciolo restaurant in Capomulini is a must-see. I came here with a group of friends during a motorcycle tour of Sicily. For many of them, this place has been a regular stop for years, and now I finally understand why! It's worth a stop because the quality of the food is high. The fish is incredibly fresh, and every course exudes the authentic flavor of the Mediterranean. You can taste the carefully selected ingredients, not to mention the atmosphere and the view: eating with a sea view completely changes your day. As you savor the dishes, you can smell the sea air and hear the sound of the waves: total relaxation. Impeccable service: The staff is extremely kind, welcoming, and knowledgeable. They made us feel at home right away, even though we were a large group of bikers. Versatility: It's the perfect place for both a lunch with friends and a family dinner. The space is spacious and suitable for all needs, with indoor and outdoor tables. There were even musicians playing traditional Sicilian music. My verdict: I had a wonderful time and I can confirm that it will become a must-visit for my future trips to the island. If you're near Acireale or Catania, treat yourself and stop here. I highly recommend trying their seafood appetizers! I'll definitely be back.

26/04/2026: Small restaurant on the square facing the Norman castle. We had the appetizer tastings, which were quite good. The first courses were also good. Prices were reasonable!

17/05/2026: Calm and beautiful place, great owners, yummy breakfasts , exceptional dinners, good proximity for start of the great hikes to explore mountains ( you'll need to use car 10 min drive up, also to get to the forest outside the populated area) . Place to return. Thanks!

26/12/2025: We just got back and I have to say I already miss it. We only stayed one night and it was a wonderful experience, everything was unique. To those who say it's not well-maintained, I say you're talking because you have to talk nonsense, the stove... the carbon monoxide is already in your brain. Laura, a very sweet person who instills calm and sweetness, and Giuseppe, very nice, the mirror of happiness. In short, my family and I had a wonderful time, we will definitely return.

04/06/2026: I only had a coffee, but it was very good, and I chatted with the gentleman who served it. The place is surrounded by greenery with a view of Etna. A beautiful place. They also make honey.

21/12/2025: This restaurant is located at the beginning of the famous Caltagirone steps, and has a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere. Service is prompt and the staff are friendly and attentive. The food is excellent, especially the "La Scala" pasta, which we would have eaten again. The fries were hot and crispy, and the grilled meat was delicious. A great experience.

09/12/2025: We went for a company lunch! Everything was excellent! The place was welcoming and the set menu delicious! Italian appetizers (with special mention for the frittatina with peppers and caponata), two pasta dishes (one with walnut sauce and the other, the chef's signature, "la scala" with fennel and sausage), and dessert to finish! The service was impeccable, the staff were very kind and attentive! We will definitely visit you again! Thank you.

01/08/2025: Terrible experience. The tomato in the Margherita was poor. Making a good Margherita is the foundation. The only positive note was the waitress (not the owner), who was kind and cheerful. I'm sorry to have to leave this review, but it's unfair to offer this type of product considering the price paid.
