23/01/2025: I stumbled upon this bar by accident and will never happen again. A SIMPLE cardboard and also small at a cost of €2.50. The bathroom looks like a horror with a door that doesn't even close. Polite staff but costs and location to forget

03/03/2025: There was a persistent bad smell in the room, probably of paint. We arrived with the room completely empty and waited 40 minutes to have only 3 out of 4 diners served. Another 5 minutes passed and our complaints to receive the fourth course. In short, we ate the cold dishes. The carbonaccia with truffle and the normal one are of poor quality, the straccetti with rocket are good, the entrecote is inedible, requested with medium cooking and still mooing. The glass of good nerello mascalese. For 4, a bottle of water and a glass of wine €99.50

30/12/2024: Mi hanno consigliato questo posto per un pranzo domenicale e devo dire che le aspettative sono state ampiamente rispettate. Tutto perfetto, dalla qualità e soprattutto quantità del cibo mangiato. Tutti i piatti assolutamente genuini e della tradizione. Il prezzo poi è incredibile per quello che si mangia. Assolutissimamente consigliato

25/03/2025: Very rustic trattoria in line with what I expected. I had been told that the simple and homely food was good, in reality we ordered some first courses with fish and we did not like them. A note of merit is the service because the staff is really kind.

22/03/2025: Ancient trattoria in the heart of the historic center of Catania. You can taste good dishes of the Catania gastronomy in an environment that should be renovated. I don't know about the first courses, but both the side dishes and the second courses are certainly not generous in quantity.

21/03/2025: The food is delicious and served in a traditional way, trattoria style, I went back twice as I really enjoyed the grilled involtini di pescespada. I would have given 5 stars if the door was closed, eating with cold air coming from outside along with the smoke of people.. doesn't take much to close the door with a sign saying OPEN outside.

10/03/2025: We had an exceptional time in this restaurant in Sicily! The place is absolutely splendid, with a warm and authentic atmosphere. The dishes were simply delicious, a real treat for the taste buds. But what really made the difference was the service: more than appreciable! The boss is incredibly kind. He even came to take our order, doing everything possible to make himself understood despite the language barrier, and we, who only speak French, were very touched by this attention. And the servers are as attentive as the boss! A big thank you for this great experience! We will come back without hesitation. ❤️🫶🏽
