13/12/2025: It was my first time here, and I must say I'll gladly return... you pay little and get a lot... I ate very well, from the rustic appetizers to the first and second courses, right down to dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious, and the place was rustic yet welcoming.
24/11/2025: Alfio, the wonderful guide at the Castagno dei Cento Cavalli, recommended this restaurant for our lunch. We were delighted by the antipasto that kept arriving with so many dishes. Then our pasta which was tasty. A great view towards the sea from the windows. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

30/04/2026: Simply an exceptional experience! We chose the tasting menu and it was a true discovery of flavors: numerous fish appetizers, all very crisp, fresh, and prepared with great refinement. The roast fish was spectacular. Impeccable service, and the group from Montpellier (France) highly recommends it!

05/05/2026: This hotel is so welcoming! The staff are so friendly and accommodating, especially Maria Teresa. Rooms are clean, airy and comfortable. The breakfast is delicious and abundant. The evening meals are so diverse, fresh and we were presented with such a lovely selection of local delicacies and dishes. The location is ideal to explore the surrounding areas, and very peaceful and quiet.

25/04/2026: A great place to grab a good pinsa and, more recently, pizza. The best part? You can talk to your friends without shouting, because the rooms have been acoustically treated—perhaps the only place in Catania that can do that.
12/04/2026: The pizzeria is large and rustic, near the ABC Theater, so it's very convenient if you need a bite to eat before a show. They initially didn't want to seat us, as it was Saturday night and we hadn't booked in advance, but they eventually found us a table. We had to leave by 8:30 PM, but since we had a show, that wasn't a problem. However, in general, I always recommend booking in advance to avoid rushing to eat dinner.
We had two pizzas, both very good and tasty, with fresh ingredients and a light crust.
I would happily recommend this pizzeria for a delicious, tasty pizza!

26/01/2026: Great little restaurant; street parking that wasn't difficult to find on a Friday night in January. Staff speaks English. There is a small, open kitchen with a woodfire pizza oven, and the pizza menu is extensive. My husband's swordfish wasn't fresh, but he didn't seem to mind. Storm Henry hit earlier in the week and the local fisherman were still probably recovering. We were looking for a restaurant that wasn't in Catania downtown and Valentino's fit the bill. Sigonella folks: this is a great place to go with a larger group. Atmosphere scored low because of the fluorescent lighting - does nothing for dining ambiance.

05/05/2026: I stumbled across this place by chance as I was leaving the airport. I was looking for somewhere with a view and good food… To my surprise, it was a charming spot… My cat kept me company, and Lorenzo, the waiter, was very kind and attentive. The food was amazing… fresh and made to order… It's going to be one of my favorite places here 😍🙌🏽
03/05/2026: We ordered a plate of spaghetti allo scoglio
But it wasn't to my liking.
The pasta was lightly seasoned.
Then we had some roasted octopus without any salt.
Then we had a plate of raw seafood. Good, but nothing special.
The price of this lunch was way too high for what we ate.

26/04/2026: A traditional restaurant with very helpful and friendly staff, tasty and plentiful traditional dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. Prices are reasonable, and it's recommended if you're in the area. We haven't tried the pizza, as it's not available at lunchtime.

21/02/2026: A very charming little spot for an aperitivo or aperitivo with indoor and outdoor seating. The cocktails are beautifully crafted, and the snacks also help spark pleasant conversation. There's paid parking nearby in blue lines in Catania's nightlife district.

21/04/2026: I celebrated my graduation (a very intimate affair with just 12 people), and they reserved a table for me in the Botanike restaurant area. I chose the ikebana menu with appetizers, first and second courses, and a cake to celebrate. I couldn't have been happier. The service was excellent, and they paid attention to every detail (the table linens, the red candles). They even reserved a table for me for photos with the cake, even though I hadn't booked the entire room. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I consider them professionals!

04/01/2026: We discovered this restaurant by chance while strolling along the Torre Archirafi seafront.
We were pleasantly surprised by the dishes on the menu: everything was fresh and good quality, with generous and flavorful appetizers. For our first course, we ordered the house specialty, shrimp and spider crab risotto...very, very good!
In short, if you're in the area, it's a must-try!
