12/08/2025: Beautiful and elegant location, you can dine outside (in the summer) surrounded by the greenery of an enchanting garden. The dishes met our expectations and we will definitely be back. The service is impeccable and everyone is very professional, the girls are very sweet. Thank you for everything.

13/11/2025: An obligatory stop for anyone passing through Aci Castello or for anyone who simply wants to go, whenever they want, to eat well. Nice, family-run, very tidy and clean place located in the center of Aci castello. The Chef's cuisine embraces the Sicilian tradition, menu for all tastes with abundant dishes, particular and unforgettable flavours. He uses an excellent dough for the pizza which results very digestible with a very good seasoning (I took the Sbarretta, delicious). Very fresh fish dishes (I took one of their specialities, the "Ionian fried", with a crunchy pastry, fried fish and courgettes on a bed of SUPER salad!) DOC wines (the prosecco was excellent). I also had the opportunity to taste the Commendable first courses from the chef. The dessert was also very good, I took the hot heart, super soft and chocolaty. The cocktails prepared by qualified and very friendly professional barmen. Kind, helpful, hospitable staff, very professional, attentive to customer care and fast. The place allows also a recreational activity: "the game of chess". What can I say, an experience that I would do again and propose to anyone looking for a place where you can eat well at a good price with impeccable service in an enchanting place like Aci castello. Highly recommended!

16/11/2025: I stayed at their B@B, a very clean place with an amazing smell, the room was much larger than usual and considering this I wanted to try their restaurant... I did well, a very nice place, the mixed meat was very good and the pizza was exquisite and well-seasoned. The owners were also very kind... definitely a place to return to.

09/11/2025: We wanted a porcini-based lunch, and before leaving the province of Ragusa, we searched online and found Osteria Il Porcino. We arrived and after a few minutes of waiting, accompanied by a good glass of wine with my wife, they accompanied us to the table. We ordered some fresh porcini-based appetizers, first courses, and second courses. The girls in the dining room are very kind and the food is a delicacy. If they were to ask us how you feel after this experience? Our answer would be: We feel like PORCHIni!!

09/11/2025: We were at this inn. The food was average, with very small portions. A ridiculous plate of mushrooms was overpriced. For the same quality, the price was truly outrageous. I don't recommend it at all.

05/11/2025: I honestly can't believe how this pizzeria has such a high average rating. The atmosphere is nice, with a wood-fired oven and a pizza chef kneading dough in front of everyone, and the kindness are fine... but the most important thing is the quality of the pizza, which is unfortunately completely lacking here. Aside from the size of the pizza, which is more suited to children than adults, the ingredients are bland and insufficient in quantity. The tomato sauce is almost nonexistent, and everything else is completely tasteless. The only decent thing is the dough. The pizza is cheap (€5), but for what you get, that's even too much money, because it's absolutely not worth it.

01/09/2025: I visited for work with a colleague and found the place quite busy, which is definitely a positive sign. We were greeted with kindness and personality, and after perusing the menu, we asked the waiter for advice, who suggested some off-menu dishes. We also chose the pappardelle with black truffle, which had just arrived: we saw it with our own eyes as they were preparing it. A truly pleasant experience, made special by the care and quality of the products.

25/08/2025: **English below** ------------- My Monday lunch experience in brief: almost an hour's wait for three plates of overcooked pasta, despite there being about 15 people in total. Several dishes on the menu were only partially available or unavailable due to a lack of certain ingredients. Overall, the food tasted okay. The waiters were friendly. Pizza was unavailable at lunch. The place certainly doesn't deserve one star, but not more than three. I don't know if I'll return, but if I do, I hope to have a better experience. I'm attaching a photo of the seafood linguine, which was certainly a generous portion, but the sauce was completely runny (the consistency of water). Note that clams were unavailable (as were other ingredients), so I hope this is an exception and not the norm. It should be noted that in the absence of clams, an extra langoustine and mussels were added, which was at least a welcome gesture. -------------- My experience in a nutshell: a wait of almost an hour for three plates of overcooked pasta, even though only about 15 people in total were there. I've attached a photo of the linguine allo scoglio, with a portion that was certainly generous but the sauce was completely watery. You can somewhat see this in the bottom part of the image, although it's not very clear - my bad for running away without taking any pictures after not even finishing the dish. I want to stress though that clams (clams) weren't available - like other ingredients - so I really hope the look of the dish is exceptional and not the norm. I must say that in the absence of clams, an extra scampo and some extra mussels were added, which was at the very least a thoughtful gesture. Oh and by the way I'm a local - I think it's worth mentioning it, just in case someone thinks that I'm a tourist and I know nothing about Italian cuisine.

16/10/2025: my husband and I had the BEST dinner here!! The pasta is as fresh as it gets, cooked perfectly, and the flavors in the sauces are unbelievable. Truly the best Carbonara either of us have ever had. This is a truly authentic trattoria owned by a wonderful family whose pride in their recipes shine through in the final product. We can’t wait to visit Bruno and Georgia again soon 💕

16/10/2025: We visited this trattoria for lunch and found the service courteous, friendly, and delicious. The first course, tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, was superb, but perhaps lacked a little more salt. Obviously, this is my personal opinion, as the food was quite tasty, but the dish was definitely worth it. The rich and varied appetizer, accompanied by excellent local honey, added an extra touch. The kindness of Bruno, the owner, and Bruno, the waiter, truly made us very happy. We will definitely be back.
