05/06/2026: This review comes from 38 years ago when my father was stationed at Sigonella. They didn't have any available base housing when we transfered from Maine, so we stayed in Motta in a high-rise apartment building our first year. I remember sheep being herded down our street, I remember the AMAZING street markets every weekend. I am lucky enough to remember it all. Most of all, I have NEVER FORGOTTEN the pizza sauce from Valentino. There are only a small handful of places that have made pizza that gave me a hint of the taste of that sauce. Every time it hits, takes me right back. We went almost WEEKLY, which was insane for a military family...we didn't eat out at all. I have now made my first pizza at home, myself, and I will spend the rest of my years perfecting the sauce from my childhood. I wish you all the best!

29/07/2026: I gave 5 stars to this restaurant as it was joyful dining experience. It’s the first time to visit Sicily and did not know how to speak Italian. The owner and waiter were very nice and helpful. Is willing to talk to us via google translator. Their warm welcoming is much appreciated. It was surprise to us as there is no menu. Everyone seemed knowledgeable what they will eat for meal. We simply followed what is offered, turned out to be surprisingly good local Sicily seafood. There are more than 13 dishes for a meal, a drink is offered at the end. Such a lovely time here with my hubby and children. Highly recommended!

10/06/2026: The food was good (we tried the mixed cooked antipasto) and two types of pasta of the day. The only thing we didn't like was the octopus salad. The problem with the place, in my opinion, is the location, which could be improved both aesthetically and, especially, in terms of soundproofing. Having gone on a very busy day, I can understand the stress of the waiters, but having to wait 30 minutes and asking for the bill four times at the table is simply out of the question. Unfortunately, the bathroom only had one working sink, and there was a line to wash our hands.

24/05/2026: The food is good, I have to admit! The fish is fresh and delicious. It's a shame, however, that they don't offer a good alternative for those with specific allergies, gluten intolerance, or lactose intolerance. At a banquet where the daily menu is the same for everyone, you're forced to eat less than those who don't have these conditions. You stand there waiting for something you can eat while everyone else has devoured undoubtedly delicious dishes, because their answer is... this is what comes out of the kitchen and it's the same for everyone! So, my poor unfortunate soul, if you want to eat at this place, bring your own food because you won't eat it all! Not even dessert! Because they can't help you with that. Unfortunately, it was a banquet, and I couldn't help myself and choose another place more suited to my needs, but I think it's not a bad idea to try to adapt to what is increasingly common. It wasn't nice to see others eating and feeling inadequate! In the end, I got a risotto when everyone else had already finished dinner, and I was just getting started... But at least it was good!

28/06/2026: This is the best restaurant I've ever been to! Incredibly delicious and incredibly beautiful! A true culinary art! And the location is insanely beautiful. The restaurant is located on the grounds of a castle hotel with a park immersed in roses and olive trees! This place isn't just about the food; it's the atmosphere and charm of Sicily all in one place. If you don't have time to travel the island, just come here! It's a definite must-see and must-taste!

25/09/2025: The food here was very creative and tasty. I had the "lasagna" which was layers of steak and vegetables with melted cheese on top and it was excellent. My wife had the gluten free pasta and that was also very good. One of the best meals we've had in our two weeks here in Sicily. Anil the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately there was hardly anyone there when we were there and the interior was a bit basic.

14/05/2026: I walked into this restaurant for the first time, and it was immediately a positive experience. It's a beautiful location, modern yet simple, clean, and meticulously maintained, with outdoor seating just steps from Playa beach. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. What struck me most was the owner's humility when describing her restaurant during the phone call to book a table. The food was exquisite, with generous first and second courses and side dishes, nothing to complain about. My compliments to the chef: XXL spaghetti with clams😋, dry and crispy fried calamari rings, and grilled fish (fresh), house wine, but also bottled wine upon request. The prices were truly fair, with complimentary coffee and a small discount. I forgot: the wait times for the dishes were short, thanks also to the waiters. 👌🏻😉 What can I say? I'm very satisfied. Well done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

13/03/2026: This little corner on the ground floor of the Four Points by Sheraton hotel is a haven for Sicilian cuisine. I've eaten there several times and enjoyed refined and original dishes, such as a grilled octopus that was divine. My partner raves about it and highly recommends it, just as I do.

30/06/2026: I stay at this family run Hotel in Sicily exceeded my expectations in every way! Having stayed at different accommodations across Europe, I can confidently say that their cleanliness and comfort here are exceptional! The Hotel renovated two years ago is extremely well maintained. The bathroom was bright, clean and equipped with all you need, including strong water pressure and hot water :) All staff, including housekeeping, reception restaurant, staff and owner are very welcoming and friendly! ( always smile!!) Despite the language barrier, communication was smooth and the hospitality was outstanding! Breakfast was thoughtfully prepared at request time and was fresh and delicious!! I would godly return to this hotel on my next visit to Sicily and would stay for an even longer period!!!

08/08/2026: Beautiful restaurant in a great location with a lovely sea view, impeccable service, the waiters are very kind and attentive. We ordered four dishes: two pizzas and two pasta dishes. The pasta dishes were very good but small portions for a rather high price, and the pizzas... what can I say? I've never eaten such a bad pizza in my life. You wouldn't think it was an Italian pizza at all. The crust was overcooked, almost burnt, and hard; it hadn't been fermented as Italian tradition requires. I was very, very disappointed. The pizzas from my Italian pizza maker in Paris are a thousand times better. I really don't understand the positive reviews for the pizzas!

Courteous staff, always available to offer advice on dishes to order. You come in hungry and leave satisfied. I give it a 10 out of 10. 21/07/2026: Superlative seafood dinner, but the real highlight is the hospitality! We dined at this splendid restaurant and were enchanted. The quality of the seafood is unquestionable, the dishes are fresh and divinely cooked. The atmosphere is magical, and the breathtaking view completes an already perfect picture. However, the real added value of this place is the hospitality. I could name a few in particular, but the truth is that the entire staff is wonderful. Everyone works with a smile, is super helpful and always attentive, discreetly approaching to make sure nothing is missing. A fantastic experience that I wholeheartedly recommend to everyone!

08/06/2026: I've always eaten pizza at the restaurant and have always been satisfied because the pizzas are really good (we usually have aperitifs). Today, for the first time, I ordered them from home and they arrived on time, piping hot and delicious, just like at the restaurant. Congratulations 😉. See you next time.

07/06/2026: We ordered pizzas, but after waiting over two and a half hours, they still hadn't been delivered. When we contacted the restaurant, we were told that the order had been lost. The pizzas eventually arrived, but we weren't asked to reconfirm the order. We understand that unexpected events can happen, but we would have appreciated more timely communication and greater care in managing the situation. Overall, the experience didn't live up to expectations.
