07/06/2025: They accommodated us inside without a reservation which we appreciated. Most of the staff were so nice and friendly. They have this one guy who is such a douche. Other reviews refer to him as the owner and I refuse to believe that’s true, there’s no way an owner of a restaurant would act like this. He was clearly very stressed but shouldn’t take it out on customers. At one point, he spoke to me so sternly and through gritted teeth, I thought he might start shouting. Other patrons looked alarmed. We should have left at that point but it was late and we ventured all the way over there to visit this specific restaurant so we stayed. Luckily he stayed away after that (probably embarrassed that he crossed the line) and a young waiter looked after us who was so kind and attentive. We don’t speak Italian so we spoke to them in Spanish with Italian words mixed in and we communicated just fine. The food was so tasty. We had spaghetti a la sepia and frutti di mare, both dishes were delicious. We loved it. We thanked the guys behind the fish counter and in the kitchen, they are doing an amazing job. It’s a shame that one person almost ruined the entire experience. Great restaurants close every day so he should really change his attitude.

17/05/2025: Nice place, terrible service (2 waiters for a full room) We arrive at 9pm and they bring drinks at 10.20pm and not even everything at once. Pizza at 11pm with good toppings, but the dough in the center is soft and extremely thin. Excessive cost 33.00 euros for 1 pizza, 1 spritz, 1 coffee and 4 beers for 20 people.

10/05/2025: Personally I only leave reviews in really beautiful and interesting places. And this is one of those, I loved the harmony and atmosphere of the place from the moment I entered. You can see Rowling's great passion for the world (she would certainly be happy about it). The variety of menu was nice and the sandwich I chose, the Sirius, was very good. I had to ask for them later when the food arrived at the table ... the pizzas arrived very early ... and this was the only positive thing ... even if ... it was just a pizza ... no emotion, nothing at all ... below average toppings ... not very tasty ... dough not very "mature" ... in short ... it was not a nightmare ... but not a satisfying experience either ... the staff is kind but unprepared and insufficient ... that is, the service is almost non-existent ... then the veil napkins cannot even be mentioned in a restaurant with menu items of €28 or stuff of €80 per kilo ... in short ... I went there after a lifetime of friends telling me that the food is excellent ... but I can't completely confirm ... we will never go back ... I'm sorry because I thought I would have a different experience and make a fool of myself with the person I brought ... instead ... the menu is unthinkable ... and having had to fall back on pizza ... it went even worse ... too bad ... we expected at least a decent service ... but nothing ... I didn't give zero but it's not my manners to do so ... but I really hope that this review can serve as a stimulus and a spur for future improvement ...

09/06/2025: The food was good, but the service was terrible, my girlfriend got her food 10 minutes after I finished eating. No apology, no explanation. This has never happened to us anywhere else in Sicily.

We ate there, super Valentine's Day menu that is yesterday... what can I say, simply wonderful from the polite staff, to the owner of the house as well as Carmelo and his whole family who are wonderfully kind, they satisfied us in everything... they know how to do it great! We had fun, we also danced, ate great, everything was excellent, freshly prepared, genuine stuff! So the eye also wants its part... see you next time 😘

15/05/2025: I give one more star because the prices are absurdly low, and despite this the quality does not suffer (at least apparently as far as we are concerned). We spent 17 each for chips, coke and wine, two first courses, two second courses, a bitter. Portions are just the right size. You leave full, yes! The guys at the tables are very kind. Maximum wait between one course and the next is 15 minutes. Unique flaws: scooters whizzing by a few centimeters from the sidewalk where you eat, a fight always the order of the day near the betting center opposite.

25/05/2025: Servizio cortesissimo, cibo ottimo e atmosfera calda e accogliente, torneremo di sicuro! La pizza è davvero buona, inoltre hanno opzioni senza glutine e senza lattosio. Rapporto qualità prezzo conveniente.

21/05/2025: Locale elegante e ben curato. Vasta selezione di vini. Servizio puntuale e impeccabile. Ingredienti freschi e piatti abbondanti. Opzioni senza glutine molto valide. Personale gentile e dispobile, un ringraziamento alla dolce signora Cristina, che ci ha fatti sentire come a casa.

22/03/2025: The chicken is delicious and comes apart gently, the chips are the only ones not soaked in oil like in many other places. And not expensive. Indeed, less than others. Try other places before speaking and then see what a difference! And the tradition that has lasted for 50 years!
