09/05/2026: First time at this place. The staff at the table were courteous, kind, and helpful. Extensive menu, excellent value. Fresh food, well-cooked and packaged, and generous portions. Highly recommend.

12/06/2026: We originally wanted to have pizza, but they only serve it in the evenings. So we opted for desserts, a non-alcoholic beer, and a Coke. The dessert was okay, but nothing special. The staff were friendly, but we couldn't sit outside, and they charged €6 for the cover charge (for two people). So we ended up paying a hefty €28 for dessert and drinks. It wasn't worth it.

21/04/2026: Excellent venue, friendly and very kind staff, attentive to every customer's need. Excellent pizzas. Acquadelferro has a very refined atmosphere, dominated by the colors I love, which convey a sense of serenity and tranquility. Furthermore, you can admire a picturesque landscape from its windows. I spent my 30th birthday there and it was a wonderful evening. Highly recommended!!

25/09/2025: The food here was very creative and tasty. I had the "lasagna" which was layers of steak and vegetables with melted cheese on top and it was excellent. My wife had the gluten free pasta and that was also very good. One of the best meals we've had in our two weeks here in Sicily. Anil the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately there was hardly anyone there when we were there and the interior was a bit basic.

14/04/2026: A relaxed, family atmosphere. The service is impeccable, courteous, and efficient. The food displays an undeniable authenticity and freshness. Perhaps, at least on Easter Monday, a little more generous servings wouldn't have hurt, but sometimes we ourselves shy away from asking for something that would have been a sign of appreciation. Those seeking delicious flavors can easily make a stop here.

06/05/2026: Antica Sicilia is a guarantee: a typical Sicilian seafood restaurant for over 25 years. I returned after a long time and had a truly wonderful time. The owner is excellent, and the quality/price ratio is excellent. The restaurant and staff could use a refresh, but the experience remains absolutely positive.

03/05/2026: Very good food. A lot of choices : but that is also their achilles. Too much without highlighting their specialities. Eat the pata alla Norma and the pizza with pistachio cream ! To die for 🥰

13/03/2026: This little corner on the ground floor of the Four Points by Sheraton hotel is a haven for Sicilian cuisine. I've eaten there several times and enjoyed refined and original dishes, such as a grilled octopus that was divine. My partner raves about it and highly recommends it, just as I do.

10/06/2026: The food was good (we tried the mixed cooked antipasto) and two types of pasta of the day. The only thing we didn't like was the octopus salad. The problem with the place, in my opinion, is the location, which could be improved both aesthetically and, especially, in terms of soundproofing. Having gone on a very busy day, I can understand the stress of the waiters, but having to wait 30 minutes and asking for the bill four times at the table is simply out of the question. Unfortunately, the bathroom only had one working sink, and there was a line to wash our hands.

24/05/2026: The food is good, I have to admit! The fish is fresh and delicious. It's a shame, however, that they don't offer a good alternative for those with specific allergies, gluten intolerance, or lactose intolerance. At a banquet where the daily menu is the same for everyone, you're forced to eat less than those who don't have these conditions. You stand there waiting for something you can eat while everyone else has devoured undoubtedly delicious dishes, because their answer is... this is what comes out of the kitchen and it's the same for everyone! So, my poor unfortunate soul, if you want to eat at this place, bring your own food because you won't eat it all! Not even dessert! Because they can't help you with that. Unfortunately, it was a banquet, and I couldn't help myself and choose another place more suited to my needs, but I think it's not a bad idea to try to adapt to what is increasingly common. It wasn't nice to see others eating and feeling inadequate! In the end, I got a risotto when everyone else had already finished dinner, and I was just getting started... But at least it was good!

15/12/2025: Delicious vegan food, perfect for those seeking tasty and balanced meals. The salads are hearty, and even a pork shoulder can be a meal in itself, or complemented with PPP (a delicious reinterpretation of pane e panelle!). The outdoor seating area is charming, equipped with covers and protected from the winter breeze by plastic sheets. Fast, clean, and efficient service, customers can enjoy a peaceful and serene experience, an ideal break from exploring the city, between the Verga House Museum and the Ancient Theater of Catania!

14/05/2026: I walked into this restaurant for the first time, and it was immediately a positive experience. It's a beautiful location, modern yet simple, clean, and meticulously maintained, with outdoor seating just steps from Playa beach. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. What struck me most was the owner's humility when describing her restaurant during the phone call to book a table. The food was exquisite, with generous first and second courses and side dishes, nothing to complain about. My compliments to the chef: XXL spaghetti with clams😋, dry and crispy fried calamari rings, and grilled fish (fresh), house wine, but also bottled wine upon request. The prices were truly fair, with complimentary coffee and a small discount. I forgot: the wait times for the dishes were short, thanks also to the waiters. 👌🏻😉 What can I say? I'm very satisfied. Well done. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The atmosphere is unique, transporting you on a journey through history, culture, and tradition. The cuisine is top-notch and represents the true essence of Sicily. The ingredients, strictly locally sourced and sourced directly from the castle's garden, are expertly enhanced by the chef, who flawlessly combines tradition and modernity. Each dish reflects the region, carefully following seasonality and showcasing authentic and genuine flavors. We greatly appreciated the courtesy, professionalism, and elegance of Mario and the entire dining room staff, who were always attentive and present without being intrusive. Service worthy of such a prestigious setting. The wine list is also excellent, with a wide selection ranging from Sicilian excellence to national and international labels. An experience that to call excellent is an understatement: everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail, from the cuisine to the service, in a perfect balance that celebrates Sicily, its products, and its extraordinary gastronomic tradition. Highly recommended!
