02/03/2025: Gentilezza e cortesia accompagnano il buon cibo. Ci trovavamo ad Acireale in occasione del Carnevale e cercavamo un luogo dove poter pranzare in maniera adeguata. Spostandoci tra i vicoli del centro storico, abbiamo scorto, questa trattoria tipica siciliana che proponeva menù fisso di carnevale. Locale pieno e naturalmente c'era parecchia gente in attesa fuori dal locale. Pertanto chiedo se era possibile sedersi ( noi eravamo in 4, 2 adulti e due bambine di 5anni), il cameriere molto gentile mi spiega la situazione e mi dice che se avevamo la.paziemza di attendere 30 minuti ci avrebbero dato la possibilità di pranzare. E così è stato ci hanno fatto accomodare e ci hanno servito in tempi brevi. Il menù prevedeva del dei maccheroni al sugo, salsiccia al sugo con patate e chiacchiere a chiusura. Nonostante il menù fisso era tutto molto buono, casareccio e tipico. La titolare è una persona squisita, i suoi collaboratori, tutti giovani, gentili cortesi educati e preparati. Da tornarci in occasioni diverse per scoprire altre prelibatezze alla carta.

20/02/2025: Wonderful experience in this intimate place. Not the classic place in the center of Catania (fortunately I would say). Cozy atmosphere and above all impeccable staff! The waiter was very nice and, seeing me pregnant, made a point of specifying the various ingredients on the menu (such as the presence of raw eggs even if pasteurised), then leaving the choice up to me. The aubergine pie and the pumpkin-filled ravioli are highly recommended! The desserts they produce are also excellent. We really appreciated both the attention to the customer (always with discretion) and the quality of the products. Everything really great! We will definitely come back to visit you!!!

17/02/2025: Davvero un'ottima esperienza quella provata in questo ristorante situato in centro a Catania, tra le piazze Trento e Umberto. Scelto per curiosità, abbiamo trovato un ambiente intimo e moderno ed una cucina davvero ottima. Abbiamo iniziato con alcuni antipasti ( caciocavallo grigliato, tortino di melanzane, tentacoli di polipo con patate e tartare di manzo) tutti davvero ottimi e presentati molto bene. Come secondo abbiamo provato una saporitissima lasagnetta di manzo e un petto di faraona. Dolce conclusione con il millefoglie di ricotta e un cestino alle mele. I prezzi non sono bassi, in due comprese bibite e servizio abbiamo speso un pò più di 100 euro ma per la qualità dei piatti proposti è un costo giusto. Nel menù sono previsti anche percorsi degustazione di terra e di mare. Il servizio andrebbe velocizzato, comunque un'esperienza più che positiva.

23/03/2025: For the second time in the last year we wanted to eat pizza at botanike. After going on a Saturday for the first time, with poor results which we attributed to the crowds on Saturday evening, another unfortunate choice was the evening of San Giuseppe, with the place always full and therefore really slow service, and not exceptional pizzas. Furthermore, the price of most of the pizzas is really excessive compared to the quality of what is offered.

15/02/2025: Un ristorante di pesce che merita davvero una visita! L’attenzione al cliente è impeccabile: il personale è cordiale, disponibile e sempre pronto a consigliare i migliori piatti. La qualità delle materie prime si sente in ogni boccone, con pesce freschissimo e preparazioni curate nei minimi dettagli. Gli antipasti sono un vero trionfo di sapori, con abbinamenti raffinati e porzioni generose. I primi piatti sono perfettamente equilibrati, con pasta cotta al punto giusto e condimenti che esaltano il gusto del mare senza coprirlo. L’ambiente è elegante e accogliente. Prezzi adeguati alla qualità offerta. Assolutamente consigliato!

08/03/2025: We celebrated my daughter's 18th birthday, a wonderful evening, highly qualified staff, excellent dishes, also taking care of the guests who for various reasons had not tasted anything from the chosen menu, in fact no one remained hungry. Everything was decorated with attention to detail in a beautiful and elegant way. The owners were available and attentive to everything and everyone. It was all perfect! 15/02/2025: Elegant venue for any beautiful occasion....! And you can see it from how you can see from the photos! We ate there, super Valentine's Day menu that is yesterday... what can I say, simply wonderful from the polite staff, to the owner of the house as well as Carmelo and his whole family who are wonderfully kind, they satisfied us in everything... they know how to do it great! We had fun, we also danced, ate great, everything was excellent, freshly prepared, genuine stuff! So the eye also wants its part... see you next time 😘

15/02/2025: L’inizio faceva ben sperare: tavolo riservato accanto al camino, atmosfera accogliente e servizio cordiale. Per antipasto optiamo per un tris di funghi, accompagnato da del pane pizza caldo, davvero invitante. Si passa ai piatti principali: mia moglie si lascia consigliare e sceglie i paccheri con crema di pistacchio, pancetta e, naturalmente, funghi. Io, invece, opto per le costolette di agnello. Le porzioni sono generose, e tutto sembra andare per il meglio, finché mia moglie non fa una scoperta decisamente sgradevole: nel suo piatto c’è un verme. La sensazione di disgusto è inevitabile. Chiamiamo subito il cameriere porta via il piatto, borbottando che la colpa è dei funghi. Decidiamo di alzarci e andare alla cassa, dove accade qualcosa di inaspettato: ci presentano il conto includendo anche il primo piatto incriminato. Faccio notare l’accaduto, ma la cassiera sembra cadere dalle nuvole. Solo dopo aver chiesto chiarimenti al personale, accettano di rimuovere il costo del piatto, ma non prima che il cameriere, con tono spavaldo, liquidi la questione con un: “Può succedere, i funghi crescono nella terra!” Una risposta che lascia davvero perplessi, aggravata dal fatto che la titolare non si sia neppure degnata di scusarsi. Una gestione inaccettabile della situazione. Mai più.

10/02/2025: Pranzo domenicale a menù fisso obbligatorio, con pesce di infima qualità. Ci hanno accolti con garbo dopo lunga attesa in strada. La saletta è troppo piccola per la quantità di persone che accorgono. A parte la gentilezza del personale, mai più, esco senza aver potuto mangiare niente di buono. Sconsigliato assolutamente.

We chose the combination of two "married" pizzas and I must admit that the quality was absolute. The wine list is well-stocked, with selected labels to enhance every type of dish.
