01/02/2026: Very nice restaurant in the center of Catania. It's located in an area where parking is quite difficult. I tried the seafood and I'd say I was very pleased. The staff was absolutely super professional and extremely kind.
05/01/2026: We booked our table here for the last dinner of our mini-vacation in Catania on the recommendation of the owner of our accommodation, and we have to thank her for having had an amazing culinary experience. We chose the selection of seafood appetizers—raw, hot, cold, and fried—accompanied by a small sample of caponata and an excellent basket of bread and sesame breadsticks, and were completely blown away by the quality and freshness of the ingredients.
The menu offered many other dishes, but we preferred to stop after the appetizers because, with so many courses arriving, we struggled to finish everything.
The final bill was high and average for similarly sized restaurants, but believe me, it's worth it! Highly recommended!

The staff (they're the owners) were very helpful and courteous.
We ate very well, except for the meatballs, and the desserts weren't up to par with the other dishes.
The first courses were very good, especially the shank and porchetta.
04/03/2026: A simple yet familiar location. Kudos to Stefania, who, for the way she welcomed us, for the way she explained the dishes, and above all for the advice she gave, allowed us to fully enjoy the evening. Highly recommended.

12/02/2026: Let's start with the welcome, which is top notch! The owner is incredibly kind (even over the phone), and the staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and efficient. The location is lovely, and the food is delicious. Prices are moderately high, but it's worth it. The ingredients are top-quality, and the pinsa is exceptional. Try it!

22/03/2026: If the pizza dough becomes runny after 5 minutes, that's not a good sign. There was too much topping on the pizza. It was missing herbs or spices. And the crust was far too thick. It was reminiscent of Pizza Hut, but not of a classic thin, crispy pizza crust. The service was very annoying and stressful. Every three minutes they tried to pressure us into buying a drink. Their motto seemed to be "make a sale." There are so many other restaurants around here; we really don't need this pizza place.

09/12/2025: Luckily, we found this little restaurant; we ate wonderfully. The wild fennel pasta had a fragrance that filled the entire room. The meat was also delicious, perfectly cooked and tender, and the eggplant ravioli were also delicious. The owners were very kind and attentive. The place is small but welcoming. I recommend parking a little before reaching the restaurant square, as there's only room for 6-7 cars.

I've been coming here for 14 years now, and their consistent, good work is a testament to their professionalism. The icing on the cake are their homemade liqueurs, perfect for a delicious after-dinner treat. Highly recommended.
08/03/2026: Today, my wife and I had the pleasure of lunch at Trattoria Da Peppino.
We ordered the half menu, consisting of appetizers and two first courses.
What can I say? The place is well-kept and clean, the staff attentive and always available to answer any questions.
The food was excellent.
The cashier was an elderly lady, but with an enviable elegance.
I'm sure we'll be back.

13/12/2025: It was my first time here, and I must say I'll gladly return... you pay little and get a lot... I ate very well, from the rustic appetizers to the first and second courses, right down to dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious, and the place was rustic yet welcoming.
24/11/2025: Alfio, the wonderful guide at the Castagno dei Cento Cavalli, recommended this restaurant for our lunch. We were delighted by the antipasto that kept arriving with so many dishes. Then our pasta which was tasty. A great view towards the sea from the windows. We enjoyed our lunch very much.

12/03/2026: Small dining room with a direct view of the oven. Thin pizza base topped with fresh ingredients. Centrally located in a side street off the pedestrian zone.
10/03/2026: Paying for this stuff is an insult to your bank statement. It's the only pizza in the world that leaves you hungrier than before, not because it's light, but because your stomach refuses to recognize what it just received as "food."
Final Score: 0/10
The only point is for the takeout box, which probably had a more interesting texture and a longer-lasting aftertaste than the pizza itself.
