17/03/2025: About a month ago we had the misadventure of having lunch at this restaurant. When the first courses arrived, they were quite pleasant to taste. As for the second courses, after having started to eat, I noticed the presence of a hair between the ribs and the vegetables... Of course I pointed it out very politely and with the same politeness the owner apologized and took the plate away, I thought that it would be remade and therefore replaced. And instead...to my disbelief, I realized that the unwanted guest had simply been eliminated and the plate that I had started to eat was returned, therefore absolutely identifiable. I pointed it out and this time I was answered candidly: Is it the same dish? Should I have them remake it? Obviously I declined any other possibility of finishing my lunch! Better to stay away from such "professionalism"

01/03/2025: Reading the reviews we expected to actually have lunch in an "Osteria" with excellent quality of both food and price. Definitely a nice place, but disappointing and too EXPENSIVE, having taken 5 first courses and not even 100g of pasta in each dish. I dare say Gourmet dishes and not Osteria ones.

23/02/2025: Sono stata al casale marretti il 22/02/25 x festeggiare i miei 40 anni insieme alla mia famiglia, ci siamo trovati benissimo posto esclusivo e pizza eccellente,grazie... il titolare molto accogliente e il personale gentile e premuroso...ci ritornerò!

26/01/2025: Location ideale sia per il pranzo domenicale, accompagnato da cortesia, qualità delle materie prime e soprattutto dalla preparazione attenta e minuziosa,sia per una serata fra amici per gustare un'ottima pizza,digeribile e dal gusto autentico. Eccellente sempre!

20/03/2025: The wonderful atmosphere of a Sicilian home ❤️ Excellent pizza with burrata and risotto with seafood. Huge portions, unfortunately, there was no room for dessert.

06/03/2025: A very nice family place. The food, appetizer, pizza and pasta were very tasty. The staff was very helpful, we tasted the Tiramisu dessert and it was very tasty.

25/01/2025: En nuestro viaje desde taormina hacia Catania, nos sorprendió gratamente este pequeño restaurante en San Gregorio, no lo podíamos creer, el 90% del restaurante estaba reservado, y nos comentan que todos los días, su gran cava, y pedimos la el plato de degustación con un número gigantesco de platos con sabores explosivos. Y más agradable, aún es el servicio con que nos trataron en nuestro propio idioma español. Especial mención, los calamares fritos. No te pierdas la oportunidad.

14/03/2025: It is not the first time we have come to this place for dinner, we returned because we have never been disappointed in our expectations. We ate potato croquettes to start, they were excellent and fried very well, followed by 2 pizzas, I wanted to try the cereal dough, excellent and both pizzas were superb. The only inconvenience I had was having to choose among many proposals, one better than the other. The waitresses were very kind and always smiling, which is not at all a given. We will continue to return. 5 ⭐ for everything

03/01/2025: Accogliente e caldo come ambiente. È previsto un menu ricco di proposte interessanti, particolari, e dagli abbinamenti a volte estrosi. Uno dei proprietari ti spiega uno x uno tutti gli ingredienti di ogni piatto con le varie preparazioni come se stesse descrivendo un dipinto o un’opera d’arte. Tutto buono e squisito.

02/03/2025: On a weekend in Catania, a reservation made by chance, turned out to be providential. We ate very well and abundantly. The quality of the food and the service were excellent, so much so that we returned the following evening. Refined location and kind and helpful owner. We will definitely return

04/02/2025: Excellent b&b, welcoming staff, modernized facilities. A note on the electrical system, which can only be activated with a card, therefore when you are in the room. In particularly cold periods (as happened to me), the room heats up while you are in the room, which in my opinion is not enough. At the very least the air conditioning should always be on to allow you to reach a comfortable temperature. Excellent restaurant, the mussels highly recommended, but not as an appetizer, because the sauce should be eaten with the bread and the "cover" and is filling!

30/12/2024: Cozy, quaint restaurant with very tasty food and friendly owners. The ravioli with pistachio was particularly a highlight. Good selection of dishes for vegetarians too. We went there twice during our vacation.

10/12/2024: Small but well-kept and evocative place, excellent family management. I will definitely go back. Excellent selection of wines and typical dishes. The funny guy.

06/03/2025: Festive atmosphere.. kind and prepared staff. I can talk about the pizza... good dough, generous toppings but, personally, I prefer Neapolitan dough. For the pizza I would never go back to try the restaurant, yes.
