01/12/2025: Very nice restaurant, with very good food which is presented in a beautiful manner and friendly staff.

25/09/2025: The food here was very creative and tasty. I had the "lasagna" which was layers of steak and vegetables with melted cheese on top and it was excellent. My wife had the gluten free pasta and that was also very good. One of the best meals we've had in our two weeks here in Sicily. Anil the waiter was very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately there was hardly anyone there when we were there and the interior was a bit basic.

15/03/2026: Welcoming and attentive atmosphere. Excellent food. Superb pistachio pizza. The fish was good quality. The appetizer was plentiful and delicious. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating to our requests. We had a wonderful time. If you're in the area, come and try the deliciousness this place has to offer.

10/04/2026: A wonderful winery located on the slopes of Mount Etna in the municipality of Trecastagni. An elegant shop staffed by two friendly and knowledgeable staff, where you can taste and purchase all of their wines. The signature wine is, of course, the Etna red, aged in both steel barrels and barriques. The 2019 Riserva deserves special mention. Nero d'Avola is also produced, but in smaller quantities. Lunch is available in the winery's osteria, with a fixed menu for €50.00, including appetizers, first course, second course, and dessert, along with four glasses of wine paired with the dishes. Dinner is available à la carte. Highly recommended.

07/04/2026: I booked a tasting menu for 06/04/26. I asked for information on the menu and it was explained verbally to me: a selection of appetizers, 3 first courses, a second course, dessert, wine, and coffee. I asked for the menu to be sent to me via WZP, they told me immediately that we would send it, but nothing arrived. When we got there, the location was well-kept, with no negative comments to make. I think the owner explained a lot about the wine, vineyards, etc., and we visited the cellar. I should point out that lunch was supposed to be at 1:00 PM. Anyway, when we got to the dining room, to make a long story short, we had 2 small appetizers, a first course with seconds, and a second course, a cannoli with chocolate cream. I would have preferred ricotta, but nothing to complain about the chef, he was good. I asked for fruit instead of the cannoli and was refused because they only serve it to those with intolerances. I think that after paying 55 euros per person, this is not something to say to a customer. The service in the dining room leaves a lot to be desired. Try to improve.

25/03/2026: The best pinsa I've ever eaten... and now the pizza too! It's simply fantastic! Everything is truly delicious. The beer is always cold, and there's also a cellar stocked with excellent local wines. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. A special thanks to Ornella, a super welcoming hostess who makes the experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommended.

26/03/2026: We went to the trattoria on the recommendation of our hotel and it was a great choice. A friendly atmosphere and delicious food.

09/03/2026: Small but cozy place. The staff (they're the owners) were very helpful and courteous. We ate very well, except for the meatballs, and the desserts weren't up to par with the other dishes. The first courses were very good, especially the shank and porchetta.

22/03/2026: If the pizza dough becomes runny after 5 minutes, that's not a good sign. There was too much topping on the pizza. It was missing herbs or spices. And the crust was far too thick. It was reminiscent of Pizza Hut, but not of a classic thin, crispy pizza crust. The service was very annoying and stressful. Every three minutes they tried to pressure us into buying a drink. Their motto seemed to be "make a sale." There are so many other restaurants around here; we really don't need this pizza place.

I've been coming here for 14 years now, and their consistent, good work is a testament to their professionalism. 08/03/2026: Today, my wife and I had the pleasure of lunch at Trattoria Da Peppino. We ordered the half menu, consisting of appetizers and two first courses. What can I say? The place is well-kept and clean, the staff attentive and always available to answer any questions. The food was excellent. The cashier was an elderly lady, but with an enviable elegance. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you for everything.

11/04/2026: You can still see how beautiful the palazzo must once have been. Unfortunately, it hasn't been renovated, so many paintings are now so blackened that you can only guess what they once depicted. Also, only a small wing of the palazzo is open to the public. The €7 entrance fee seems too expensive for that.

09/04/2026: This beautiful Baroque palace in Catania's historic center is also open to visitors on certain days of the week. Check the website for availability, as it is often closed for events. The current owner leads the tour, and he's very kind and helpful, explaining the history of the family and the palace.

13/12/2025: It was my first time here, and I must say I'll gladly return... you pay little and get a lot... I ate very well, from the rustic appetizers to the first and second courses, right down to dessert and coffee. Everything was delicious, and the place was rustic yet welcoming.

24/11/2025: Alfio, the wonderful guide at the Castagno dei Cento Cavalli, recommended this restaurant for our lunch. We were delighted by the antipasto that kept arriving with so many dishes. Then our pasta which was tasty. A great view towards the sea from the windows. We enjoyed our lunch very much.
