28/03/2026: After six years, we revisited this wonderfully authentic restaurant. They offer beautifully fresh fish and seafood, which you can select yourself from the display. The team is incredibly friendly, and we had a fantastic evening! Not to mention the almond parfait prepared by the chef himself – simply delicious!

26/02/2026: We came for lunch and it was delightful. I'd recommend the zucchini side dish. The owner served us, and was very friendly (and spoke English well). We sat in the lower area.. so no views (I think the terrace is closed in winter/lunch).

The food was plentiful and of unquestionable quality. Your courtesy is priceless and can never be taken for granted. Thank you, thank you, thank you. My guests have inundated me with phone calls to compliment the good food. We are a large family and luckily there is always something to celebrate. 07/10/2025: Well...my friends reading this, my expectations were high, in the sense that when they tell you about a gourmet restaurant, you don't just expect a beautiful plating but something more. Punta Lena is a charming restaurant, nothing extraordinary, right on the sea. Perhaps the downside was that when we went for dinner, it was already dark, and we couldn't tell we were right next to the sea. In any case, the dishes were well-cooked, but like pretty much everywhere else in Stromboli. It didn't stand out compared to the rest in terms of food quality. One flaw I absolutely didn't expect was the peppered mussels, which were so salty it tasted like seawater. And we Sicilians know how to cook mussels...when we pointed this out, we were simply told: oh...strange... Anyway, my calamari was good, but it was frozen. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating fresh fish; I can tell right away. The flavor was very good, anyway. That said, I can't give more stars because, guys, it's truly impossible to mess up a Pepata... The prices are truly outrageous for the type of food.

09/04/2026: A mountain hut-style restaurant at the foot of the ski slopes. Not many tables, and quite crowded on a snowy Sunday. Two of us arrived around 2 pm, and even though we hadn't booked, they found us a table after a short wait. We then waited a bit before being served (they probably finished the other tables' orders first). The staff was friendly, however. Relatively simple but very good dishes: a fried tuma cheese appetizer, two first courses with Monte Conca cheese and mushrooms, a mixed roast, and a roasted artichoke. Half a liter of house wine. Overall, a good experience, although the prices are a bit above average (€48 per person for two incomplete meals).

09/04/2026: An unforgettable experience of taste and nature! I spent a truly wonderful time at this restaurant and can only recommend it to anyone seeking the perfect combination of good food and dreamy landscapes. The food is exquisite! Authentic and incredibly tasty dishes. The revisited Norma and porcini mushrooms are sublime! You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the love for mountain tradition. Every bite is a pleasure! The restaurant is immersed in beautiful nature that exudes incredible peace. The view is literally breathtaking. The staff is friendly and smiling. Eating surrounded by nature among imposing peaks makes the experience unique and rejuvenating. It's not just lunch, but a magical moment where time seems to stand still. I'll definitely be back!

03/11/2025: Alas, I've yet to eat a nice bowl of fried fish here in Modicano, and I must say I was very enthusiastic! I immediately found the owners very helpful and courteous; they even offered us a bowl of fries, which was a very welcome thought! The sandwich was delicious, and after all that fried food, we didn't have any stomach aches or anything else, a testament to the lightness and authenticity of the product we ate! Congratulations again, and we'll be back soon... especially after the excellent experience.

29/10/2025: The fried calamari rings were good. I think it's excessive to charge for a disposable paper tablecloth, and you also have to go get the food you ordered, bring it to the table, and clear it away.

28/10/2025: The place was recommended for good, local sea food! It worthy to eat there! Menu is simple and every dish worth to order!

17/09/2025: The menu was very limited, with few dishes to choose from; the marinara risotto also required advance reservations. The seafood spaghetti consisted only of mussels and clams. At 9:30 PM on a Saturday, when we asked for spaghetti with clams, we were told they only had a few and it was better to choose the marinara spaghetti I mentioned above. The mixed fried fish was all fish; they didn't have scampi, calamari, or even shrimp or prawns. The prices for the few dishes available were also quite high; spaghetti with (a few) clams was €22!! Maybe we were unlucky, but we're unlikely to return.

31/03/2026: Once one of the best-known and well-run bars at the foot of Mount Etna, sadly now it's at an all-time low... They don't offer table service, the quality of the food has declined significantly, and it's easy to sense poor management that's causing one of the area's most famous bars to decline. What a shame!

15/03/2026: This bar doesn't take the customer seriously. I ordered a pizza, which was inedible...the cheese was so thick it fell off the pizza completely, and there was way too much tomato sauce. It was served cold. I complained and returned it. No one apologized, and, incredibly, it was listed on the receipt along with the coffee (the only thing worth mentioning). I paid €2.80 for a pizza that was awful. Shame!

10/10/2025: We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at the Gourmet restaurant and cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was incredibly welcoming, warm, kind, and accommodating. We had the pleasure of getting to know Giuseppe and he made sure our experience was unforgettable. The flavor combinations were exceptional and unique with fantastic service and ambiance. 01/11/2025: A wonderful stay in the heart of Assisi – perfect for groups! We stayed at the Hotel San Pietro with a group and felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is simply unbeatable – directly opposite the Church of San Pietro, just a short walk from the Basilica of San Francesco, and in close proximity to all the major sights. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. We received a warm welcome upon check-in, and all of our group's requests were met with a smile. The quiet, family-like atmosphere was particularly pleasant – you can tell that the staff here puts their heart into their work. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered everything you need for a great start to the day – fresh pastries, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, and excellent coffee. The communal breakfast room is ideal for groups to begin the day in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything was also perfectly organized: Communication beforehand was straightforward, bus arrival was easy, and our group size was perfectly accommodated. 24/07/2025: Increíble experiencia en La Tabernetta!!!! Primero tengo que mencionar el lugar, frente al mar con barcos amarrados, el sol bajando sobre el horizonte.... De película. La atención impecable, dedicada de todo el personal y los dueños acercándose a ver si todo estaba perfecto. Gracias!!!!!! Y la comida exquisita, con productos regionales de excelencia.Excelente relación precio calidad, y una extensa carta de vinos y postres hacen de la cena una experiencia especial. Gracias a todos!!!!
