10/11/2024: Here is a review for L'Oasi di Paolo: I had an unforgettable stay at L'Oasi di Paolo in Sicily, and I couldn't recommend this accommodation enough! It is an enchanting place, family-run, where every detail is taken care of with love and attention. The staff is uniquely kind: always available and ready to make guests feel at home. We had chosen half board, and I can say that it was a perfect choice. Each meal was a true culinary experience, with dishes prepared with fresh, local ingredients. The cuisine is authentically Sicilian, and each course left us speechless. You can see the passion with which each dish is prepared: divine flavors and generous portions that reflect the typical hospitality of the region. Paolo's Oasis is truly a small paradise, where you can relax and enjoy the real Sicily. We can't wait to return!

15/12/2024: I'm really sorry, but this time I'm forced to give a negative review: I've been to this place to order something twice, in the first case I ordered a piadina with porchetta, ketchup and mayonnaise...they brought me a piadina with ham without ketchup and without mayonnaise. In the second case (i.e. today) I had ordered a pizza diavola + chips, they delivered this pizza to me and once I got home I found a very simple devil without chips despite having paid a supplement of €1.50.

08/09/2024: Nice location on the sea as expected. Terrible service, the waitress looking fed up and condescending asks us what we want to order without offering us the dishes Giorno or the fish of the day which are instead offered to the other two tables who we later discover are regular customers. We order the sweet and sour sardines, many of which are good, and a green salad. That We are served "house" oil in a cruet unlike the other tables where "good" oil is brought in a bottle. What a lack of style and rudeness to make distinctions between customers!! I believe it is one of the first rules of catering and education. I'm sorry for the very kind owner who unfortunately didn't serve us!

08/09/2024: Location carina sul mare come da aspettativa. Servizio pessimo , la cameriera con aria stufa e di sufficienza ci chiede cosa vogliamo ordinare senza proporci i piatti del Giorno o il pesce della giornata che invece vengono proposti agli altri due tavoli che dopo scopriamo essere dei clienti abituali . Ordiniamo le sardine in agrodolce, molte buone e insalata verde . Quella Ci viene servito dell’olio della “casa” in un’oliera a differenza degli altri tavoli a cui viene portato l’olio “buono “ in bottiglietta. Che caduta di stile e maleducazione fare distinzioni tra i clienti !! Credo sia una delle prime regole della ristorazione ed educazione . Mi spiace per la proprietaria molto gentile che però sfortunatamente non ci ha servito !

31/03/2025: Don't be fooled by the exterior appearance and the decoration...but rather by its simple, refined and exceptional cuisine...and the locals are not mistaken... The octopus is excellent.... and the spaghetti with sea urchins unforgettable

11/03/2025: This is an amazing place on Syracusa! Loved the atmosphere, great seafood, and the only place I have ever seen that you can by a whole octopus! Amazing!

30/08/2024: The price given is indicative because 2 of us with drinks and pizzas paid less than thirty euros. It is one of the few places left in Marzamemi that work well, are clean, eat well and pay a fair price and frankly I hope they maintain this regime, for the rest of the places I'm sorry to say nothing, constant complaints from tourists. At least I know that if I have to eat a pizza or fish I know where to go and how I will be served, the staff are really good, the location is nice and full of lights, they always found a solution with or without a reservation during my stay. I hope that the other restaurateurs of Marzamemi will take as an example the work and way of working of these guys from the structure in question. Thanks for everything to the Club Nautico staff.

02/02/2025: Friendly staff and averagely positive service, clean environment, as far as the pizzas are concerned it is not a contemporary or Neapolitan dough, discreet ingredients, a matter of taste.

12/01/2025: A place found online turned out to be a great discovery, from easy parking in Nicolosi to a digestible mix. Well-seasoned pizzas also with some particular combinations and attentive and quick service. Of note is the very honest price.

16/03/2025: Absolutely disastrous experience! We arrive at the place, packed as expected on a Saturday evening, but the worst thing is that we ordered drinks and chips... There were 3 of us, and it took A LOT OF 50 MINUTES to get the second glass! Furthermore, there were few staff and the chips they brought us were practically fried for an hour, all cold and hard. They took them away and, incredibly, returned with a mix of some fresh and some still cold! Unacceptable! The pizzas arrived, and they were okay enough not to be bad, but after such service I really don't think I'll ever go back. Really a bad experience.

12/01/2025: Posto immerso nella natura. Ci sono andato diverse volte , e tutte le volte ho mangiato benissimo. Il personale cordiale e professionale.

09/12/2024: Posto carino, ma grossa pecca per quanto riguarda il cibo, pranzo dell' Immacolata con menù fisso da 30€ ad ogni tavolata composta mediamente da 10/15 perone portavano 3 porte uguali dividendole equamente sul tavolo, nel nostro composto da 13 persone soltanto 2 portate da dover dividere appunto per 13 persone, , risultato alcuni di noi non hanno mangiato i ravioli, e dolcis in. Fundo... La portata di carne sempre mini pirofile, era un misto messo a caso con salsiccia una costata e pancetta qualche fetta, risultato... Solo 2 perone su 13 hanno mangiato la crostata perché l'hanno divisa, parte la salsiccia e parte la pancetta, purtroppo non credo sia il modo corretto di servire il cibo, anche perché avendo prenotato in largo anticipo il ristoratore dovrebbe sapere quanta materia prima necessita! E soprattutto non è carino vedere tutti i tavoli che potevano mangiare normalmente, e noi a dover tirare a sorte su chi dovesse mangiare questo o quell'altro, creando così un clima di imbarazzo Non credo di tornare, e non mi sento di consigliare ad amici!

26/02/2025: Locale carino, pulito e accogliente; il personale è alla mano e fa sentire a proprio agio. Il rapporto qualità-prezzo? Ni! Da rivedere, io ritoccherei i prezzi; Considerato il costo, porzioni piccole e care, seppur la materia prima era di buona qualità. Non so se magari possa ritornare, opterei per visitare qualche altro locale.

The bill is brought to you by what I assume is the boss? When she arrives you clearly put yourself in a mouse hole because she is so unpleasant… really a shame! We have visited other restaurants with a much warmer welcome right next door!!! see right across the street! We are only at the beginning of the season, I can’t imagine it’s peak season 😳

12/08/2024: Very well organized lido, entry at a reasonable price. Sunbeds quite comfortable although they could do with updating. The only flaw: as early as 6.40pm they start to close the umbrellas, right at the quietest moment when there starts to be less confusion on the beach. I would put the shower included in the price. Overall positive experience.
