17/04/2026: The pizza is always excellent, the atmosphere small and simple but very welcoming and familiar, but what made me feel most at home was the kindness and courtesy with which the waiter served us.

11/04/2026: Terrible service. Interminable wait. The photo speaks for itself. If I were in the pizza chef's shoes, I wouldn't have served such a mess. And I should add that the charred pizza was still paid for. Shame!

18/05/2026: The red wine was gone, the appetizer was gone, the dessert was gone. The food wasn't good. The service was unsatisfactory. The ambiance was great.

15/05/2026: Stayed in Syracuse for 7 days, tried a few trattoria then discovered this one, and returned 3 times. The grilled fish was as good as any 5 star restaurant, the vino locale both red and white were excellent and great value. Pizzas lovely, and the orange salad, and octopus salads were also delicious.

03/09/2025: A truly welcoming place, with a spectacular garden that makes the atmosphere even more pleasant. The food is excellent: from appetizers to pizza, to meat dishes, everything is carefully prepared and flavorful. Kudos to the owners for their courtesy and helpfulness, especially Giorgia, who is incredibly kind and always attentive. We'll definitely be back!

14/05/2025: I had dinner with my wife, beautiful location, super dinner and excellent service, the staff welcomed us kindly accompanying us to our table and during dinner the lady lost the owner came to make sure if everything was to our liking. To be repeated

17/09/2025: The menu was very limited, with few dishes to choose from; the marinara risotto also required advance reservations. The seafood spaghetti consisted only of mussels and clams. At 9:30 PM on a Saturday, when we asked for spaghetti with clams, we were told they only had a few and it was better to choose the marinara spaghetti I mentioned above. The mixed fried fish was all fish; they didn't have scampi, calamari, or even shrimp or prawns. The prices for the few dishes available were also quite high; spaghetti with (a few) clams was €22!! Maybe we were unlucky, but we're unlikely to return.

03/06/2026: Highly recommended – everything here is just perfect! We recently ate here and were truly impressed. We received an incredibly warm welcome as soon as we walked in. The entire team was consistently friendly, attentive, and cheerful – from the waitstaff to the kitchen staff. You can immediately tell that they enjoy their work and genuinely value their interactions with guests. Unfortunately, you don't find such a friendly atmosphere everywhere these days. The food selection is truly excellent and leaves nothing to be desired. They offer not only delicious kebabs and doner kebabs, but also many other items such as various fried cheese sticks, fried vegetables, pizza, and many other tasty options. Whether you want to grab something to go or dine in comfortably, there's something for everyone. Everything tasted absolutely superb. The ingredients seemed fresh, the dishes were expertly prepared, and truly delicious. You can tell that quality is a priority here. Everything was perfectly seasoned and simply excellent. We were also particularly impressed by how clean and tidy everything was. The restroom was also very well-maintained – clean, tidy, and hygienic, which is always an added bonus for us. Overall, we can wholeheartedly recommend this place. Friendly staff, a great selection, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere – it's simply a perfect package. We'll definitely be back!

13/05/2026: I ordered the piadina kebab with Glovo and added Swiss cheese (+1 euro), but they didn't add it. I was very disappointed. I want whoever made the piadina to feel guilty. Thank you.

17/05/2026: The food and drinks were very delicious. The service and the staff were fantastic, they were kind, helpful, they always had a kind word or gesture for us. We ate here several times and we loved the place.

09/05/2026: Great place to eat. The polpette and arancino are simply delicious, not to mention the desserts. Located in a quiet pedestrian alley.

05/09/2025: I'm not giving any stars for the food, service, or ambiance since I haven't been there. I'm giving one star because the place has changed management and is now called "Camurria." I'm giving one star for the prices posted outside and the rather unpleasant name.

05/08/2025: I went there with some friends to eat a pizza together for the end of the school year, I recommend it especially for the pizzas and the dessert, the prices are average, everything else is excellent

26/09/2025: The charcuterie and cheese platter for two was very good, varied, and filling. The only small flaw was that everything was a bit too salty for our tastes, but nothing serious, we thoroughly enjoyed it. The same goes for the torta al testo with mortadella, pecorino, and truffle cream. The service was perhaps a little slow to bring the platter (we waited half an hour and there was no one else eating), but the staff was super friendly and helpful, no complaints. The atmosphere is very relaxed, friendly, and not at all chaotic (at least on a Monday night), with the option of even watching a league match. The prices are absolutely fair, perhaps even affordable, for the quality and quantity they offer. We will definitely be back.

25/09/2025: I absolutely do not recommend it. I felt sick after eating here, and the place is dirty and has tables in the middle of the street.

01/05/2026: Ristorante U Calandra is a fantastic dining spot in Pozzallo! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. The food is outstanding—fresh, authentic, and full of rich Sicilian flavor. Every dish is carefully prepared, especially the seafood, which is incredibly fresh and delicious. The quality and presentation are consistently excellent. The staff are friendly, attentive, and very professional, making sure guests feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the experience. Highly recommend Ristorante U Calandra to anyone looking for amazing local cuisine and a great dining experience in Pozzallo!

16/05/2026: Take a day off work; you'll need immense patience to get served at this restaurant. The pasta is excellent, but unfortunately, we didn't get any pizzas 🤷🏼‍♀️ go figure, it's supposed to be a pizzeria after all… We're still waiting for the appetizer we ordered. Our main course arrived an hour and a half after we ordered. It's quite an experience…

19/10/2025: Lunch on October 10, 2025 Recommended, we weren't disappointed. The arancino with ham and mozzarella was good but not memorable, while the one with ragù won us over with its richness and quality of filling. We loved the scacce. Rating: 9

25/08/2025: Very nice staff! We ordered two Arancini, one with Ragu and one with spinach and cheese. Very tasty and affordable! Especially for a quick pit stop.

01/08/2025: Terrible experience. The tomato in the Margherita was poor. Making a good Margherita is the foundation. The only positive note was the waitress (not the owner), who was kind and cheerful. I'm sorry to have to leave this review, but it's unfair to offer this type of product considering the price paid.
