04/08/2024: Very nice and relaxing place, easy parking in white lines, housewares shop next door, and stations with beautiful storage units. The fish costs a fortune, for a beach, even if it's very good. Bathroom door that doesn't close, but possibility to enter snacks

21/07/2024: very long waiting times, we ate at 2.30pm and sat down at around 1.15pm. Umbrellas all attached, little privacy, and there is plenty of space. Hot tub unusable, dirty and useless at this point. Really painful.

18/08/2024: Willingness to dish In the simplicity of the geometric shape of the Tondo, a series of ideas and references are hidden which cascade, upon entering this restaurant, generating that famous stream of consciousness that Joyce masterfully described in his novels. Neglecting the Ephemeris of Granatelli's Prince (which, to force philology, leads us to the somewhat rounded orbits), the first thought that comes to me, coming from via Wagner, is a reference to Visconti's Ludwig (perhaps because of the Leopard that always hovers among the streets of Sicily?) and to the experimental concept of listening to music which included the orchestra in the center and the listeners forming a circle around it. Or, even if far away and opposed in these parts, Etna has a round crater... and around that round Nerello Mascalese, Carricante, Viognier and other vines are grown which end up in our round glasses in this restaurant. But how round is the orange based on the Amaro Amara that accompanies the cannoli which are round if seen in frontal perspective. And when you see the oven at the back of the room, how can you not think of the soft round of the splendid pizzas that land softly on our tables. How round are the plates filled with spaghetti and clams with a snowfall of fresh mullet bottarga. And we were there in circles, listening and enjoying the symphonies that the sea returns from those flat circles, a bit like the spectators in that Bavarian Castle where Wagner resounded. And a final thought goes to my intellectual circle around Wagner, where for a while that giant Nietzsche resided with his eternal return of the same, who I necessarily imagine to be round, and to the impostors of his sister and brother-in-law who published posthumously the "Will to Power", which today we would label as fake. But when we are in Palermo for work and we decide to go to lunch, this flow is triggered, but above all the "Will for Dish" is triggered and to satisfy it we usually come to this very nice restaurant, so if it bothers you to listen to Wagner, read Nietzsche or Joyce or Granatelli's almanacs of the Prince, listen to me: come and eat here.

26/07/2024: What a hidden gem. U walk around the corner and it just looks adorable. Super nice people and super good cocktails and food! Can’t recommend it enough. Adorable, nice people and not too expensive.

02/07/2024: Tavolo prenotato il giovedì con due giorni di anticipo, il sabato sera prenotazione inesistente; ci siamo seduti intorno ad un tavolo di fortuna lontano dalla zona ristorazione, professionalità e accoglienza molto discutibili. Da non ripetere.

23/06/2024: Armatevi di pazienza e buona educazione voi che ordinate una pizza, perché aspetterete 2 ore e mezza prima di averla servita al tavolo ed riceverla anche variata a loro piacimento. Le bevande ? Per una birra alla spina 35 minuti e dovrete chiederla a più camerieri, fino a quando troverete quello di buona volontà che non è impegnato. Il conto ? Come da listino nonostante il disservizio, inutile il tentativo di offrire un caffè o un amaro. Per il resto, considerato il malumore maturato, tutto passa inosservato e non apprezzato. Invito la proprietà a non commentare, rendendo ancora più ridicolo il loro atteggiamento, meglio una semplice attestazione di scuse per l’accaduto, nella speranza che sia l’unico.

14/07/2024: We were at the seaside and decided to have lunch at this place. Welcoming, helpful and courteous staff. We took 2 pieces of seasoned bread (so called “pani cunzatu”): Grecale made with tuna, flakes of fresh pepper, capers, lettuce and onion. €10 per piece. The bread was more like a focaccia, toasted badly and in some places too toasted; the tuna was canned; the non-existent peppery flakes; 1 iceberg lettuce leaf; correctly balanced onion and capers. In the take away package, the staff (available to satisfy requests) did not put paper napkins.

30/08/2024: Eine ruhige Oase in Salina. Herzlicher Empfang und außergewöhnlich und künstlerische Gestaltung des Hauses. Es gibt unglaublich viele schöne Details. Man fühlt sich gleich wie zuhause und möchte nicht mehr fort. Mein Zimmer war mit Balkon und wunderbarer Aussicht. Die Küche ist eine geschmackliche Entdeckungsreise. Einfach wunderbar. Man müsste noch so viele Tage bleiben, damit man alles entdecken könnte. Auf die Weinempfehlung des Patron kann man sich verlassen. Ein besonderer Dank gilt Giulia für die herzliche Begrüßung, ihre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft.

27/08/2024: Hotel caratteristico , con belle camere , piscina ed un rinomato ed ottimo ristorante. Personale gentilissimo, disponibile, attento a soddisfare eventuali necessità del Cliente . Il proprietario Marco , così come Eleonora e Giulia , persone ECCEZIONALI! Il ristorante uno dei migliori se non il migliore di Salina . Soggiorno stupendo! Super!

26/08/2024: Outdoor tables overlooking the sea, very friendly staff, parking for customers. We ate excellent pasta with sardines and truly excellent mixed fried food. We always come back with pleasure.

10/08/2024: Evening to forget, they recommended it to me but it wasn't worth that much, Italian-style appetizer sliced ​​already dark, old and not much, swordfish caponata decent but very little, pasta with Mazara prawns and pistachio semprava (pistachio and parsley) only 1 prawn, tuna good but the side dish was grilled vegetables, 4 very small slices of courgettes, half a slice of aubergines, 2 strips of peppers all cold and unseasoned, the flies were flying around in our heads and then ending up in the beer (to be forgotten as an experience) never again

08/08/2024: We've been in Lampedusa for a week and we've already been there twice! Excellent food, large, clean room, and everyone super helpful. Very fast service. Everything is gluten-free, even the arancini 😍 excellent dishes even for the little ones. Super recommended 😍

21/08/2024: Ma puó in sicilia un piatto di pasta essere risicato, scarso scarso? Purtroppo sì, speri che sia uno scherzo, sti paccheri li conti quasi sulle dita di una mano. Grandi sorrisi, molta gentilezza, vista sul mare e sul piccolo porto: ci sarebbe tutto ma manca il cibo. Stessa cosa per secondi e contorni, la famosa zuppa di lenticchie che puoi scegliere in versione “assaggio” o porzione intera. Poco cambia. Forse serve a invogliare chi mangia a ordinare più portate? Io credo di no, è solo un gran peccato.

18/08/2024: My review definitely won't make a difference, people, or rather, tourists, will continue to go there...maybe... Decent place, food absolutely normal which obviously doesn't justify the price, the most annoying thing is the menu of first courses: 4 out of 6 courses are MANDATORY for a minimum of 2 people... absurd!! Also because it isn't written on the poster at the entrance, since there were 2 of us, we found ourselves in difficulty and had to opt for a mediocre first course with pesto (by the sea) and a lasagna. Then a fry without salt. Good wine list. We ate in a hurry to leave as soon as possible, it's a shame they didn't ask me at the time of the decidedly disproportionate payment if everything had gone well, I would have gladly expressed my disappointment... but it is clear that the interest is not the customer's satisfaction but the account...I won't add anything else related to the room... there's no point in raging. It would be useful to remember that this way you massacre the tourists.. and obviously they come once and never come back.. and in the end.. sooner or later.. they will all end the first times.. a real shame..

14/08/2024: Meals in small quantities, unripe tomatoes, elastic mozzarella. Too bad for the pesto pasta which was good but in small quantity. A waitress who greets with a face of despair and a huge but empty restaurant. We remain hungry….

13/08/2024: I had dinner in this place which has an internal room and a large external space with several set tables. We sat at an outside table and considering the hot day, the temperature was quite high even outside. The service was fast and the friendly staff was friendly. As for the food, I took the couscous and found that although it was tasty, it lacked both the variety of fish supplied but above all the quantity. Given the non-negligible price, a larger portion would have been better. I recommend it.

30/08/2024: Non sono qui a recensire il posto bensì il padrone gestore o quello che sia, un vero e proprio maleducato scorbutico, che odia la sua vita e ciò che fa! rigetta tutto il suo malessere sui clienti in malo modo!! Gli è andata bene che ha beccato una persona educata che sa riconoscere i contesti e che sa come comportarsi davanti la gente… ma come è usuale dire me stava scippannu re manu!

27/02/2024: I'm so sorry to only give one star but our experience wasn't the best. Family dinner with small children. We immediately order two burgers with chips for them and a portion of chips for the adults. Industrial meat and heated chips. We were served a tray of chips for I don't know how many people (then, tasting them, I understood why). We ordered some beers which unfortunately had run out. We order the pizzas (4) after half an hour the boy comes saying that one pizza could no longer be made because the ingredients were finished, okay it can happen, let's change the pizza. After a quarter of an hour they return saying that another pizza couldn't always be made for the same reason. It was now 10am and we decided to cancel one pizza and announced that if they hadn't already made the others not to make them because we would be leaving. We are told they were in the oven. Another 15 minutes pass. Dispassionate advice. Never bring leftover chips from a table to the table and reheat them badly, because people will notice, and then at least apologize for the wait, for the inconvenience.

08/08/2024: Terrible or almost non-existent service, interminable waits for three pizzas (which were inedible, like rubber), distracted and incompetent but above all rude staff! End of the fair: 86 euro bill for 4 and debit of an order from another table for a first course that never reached us 😅P. S. First and last time, all seasoned with stray animals wandering around the outdoor tables 😅
