01/01/2026: Lunch, January 1, 2026 Godiva has an excellent reputation for its creative food and flavorful dishes. Compagnia della Vela with Catering, Godiva Restaurant, confirms the excellent lunch, expertly executed by the staff. The appetizers were excellent, with excellent presentation and flavor, and the arancina and mussels were sublime. First courses: Rice flan with a pea and shrimp sauce was excellent. Ravioli with swordfish roe and clams were excellent. Perfectly cooked. Despite the crowds. The main course was equally delicious. To end the lunch, an excellent cheesecake. 31/01/2026: I remembered your pizzas, sure, years have passed but that doesn't justify that... I ordered two pizzas, cost? 29 euros with a portion of dry chips and two miserable sachets of sauces, I received two awful pizzas, thin and undercooked. Today in Catania I no longer know the prices but I think that for what I ordered for €29 I should have received quality and professionalism, I'm sorry to say you are very far away. Following are photos of the frozen and flavourless stringy asparagus, the thin and dry aubergines and I'll stop here. One thing is certain: for me, who lives abroad, finding myself eating a pizza like this was a real disappointment.

27/11/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant, excellent service, and above all, an exceptional location, with only a low wall separating the tables from the sea. A special mention for the desserts, Sicilian cannoli and cassata, the best I've ever had in Sicily.

25/11/2025: We came at the wrong time of year, and many places were closed, so this place was a real treat. The food was delicious and reasonably priced; the grilled seafood platter was especially fresh, and at 30 euros, it was enough for two people.

06/01/2026: A trattoria where it's a pleasure to return for horse meat specialties, as well as other delicacies like pistachio rolls and Catanian pistachio meatballs. The antipasto buffet is also excellent. It's now a regular stop when I'm in Catania!

16/10/2025: Fantastic hotel, I stayed here for a week and it's truly great. In my opinion, the best hotel in the area. Breakfast starts early and is well-stocked all the way through. The rooms are very spacious and well-equipped. Great value!

06/09/2025: If, like me, you're looking for a peaceful oasis to spend some quiet time, this hotel is the perfect choice. The staff is incredibly kind and professional, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the sound of the waves crashing is unparalleled! Breakfast on the terrace is excellent. The beach area is lovely, with its artificial grass and fully equipped facilities. The beach is just a short walk away. The only downside is that to reach the seafront and enjoy the various bars and restaurants, you have to walk about 200 meters on a road that isn't well lit at night. I highly recommend it.

10/10/2025: I've been to several Peruvian restaurants, and this one is definitely special: every dish has an extra touch of flavor. You can tell they love their cuisine and share it with a big smile.

09/11/2025: I stopped in for a quick croissant and coffee. I must say the atmosphere was pleasant, with a cozy indoor area for a quiet chat and excellent coffee products, along with a deli. Good coffee and friendly staff. I recommend it.

06/11/2025: A historic and traditional Palermo pizzeria, open since 1982, run by Ron Garofalo, a histrionic figure in the industry, who has never changed his Neapolitan-Sicilian pizza. Spacious, sparsely furnished rooms, including outdoor seating for the summer season. One of the few pizzerias that has maintained moderate prices while maintaining good quality ingredients, including a dedicated section for celiacs. An evening of neither praise nor infamy, a table for 20, various pizzas, all traditional and simple, with buffalo mozzarella, a hot appetizer per person, water, Moretti beer, and a can of Coca-Cola. Friendly, helpful service, represented by a very sweet young woman. A few glitches ruined the whole experience. The meager supply of buffalo mozzarella, which ran out quickly, two pizzas with dough textures the guests didn't like, even though they specified it when ordering, which were obviously sent back and remade, and the most serious problem was the "fortuitous omission" of the 30% The Fork discount. Everything was resolved, with the owner's kind forethought, and a personalised bill of 15 euros.

19/07/2025: Pochi piatti ma cucinati con dovizia, ho riassaporato i sapori della nonna... Servizio sufficiente, la location lascia molto a desiderare, specialmente per la zona dove è situato il locale, sicuramente non turistica.

18/07/2025: Nos encontramos con este restaurante que está en Ortigia, justo al lado de las calles principales pero con vistas al mar. Fue realmente excelente. No turístico. Genuinamente bien cocinado y comida local súper fresca. Me comí el especial de pez espada y mi marido tenía el especial de atún que dijo que era la mejor melodía que había comido. Sobresaliente. Personal encantador y bien informado. Buen Inglés hablado.

The service is impeccable: attentive, friendly, and professional. You're guaranteed to leave satisfied—in fact, if you eat there twice, you'll definitely want to return!
