01/11/2025: SEPTEMBER UPDATE: We were disappointed and never returned. They changed the price, increasing it quite a bit, given that it's a fixed menu. Compared to the first time, the tables were smaller and, above all, only chicken skewers, not different types and cuts of meat. We never returned. It's a shame, because by behaving like this, customers won't be loyal and will move on. HONEST AND EXCELLENT CUISINE JUST A FEW KM FROM THE COSTA SMERALDA! Who would have thought? I'm in Sardinia because I work as a Quality Manager for a well-known hotel in Porto Rotondo. I often pass by this butcher shop/restaurant and finally managed to stop in this evening. The atmosphere is informal, but very clean, and the tables are well-stocked. The staff is courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. The food is excellent, both the po eddu and the grilled dishes, with generous portions and a more than fair price. I'll always return to them on my day off. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

30/12/2025: Without a doubt, this is the worst restaurant I've eaten at in the last five years. Extremely high prices and food that's like a student cafeteria. A plate of overcooked spaghetti with low-quality olives and terrible, stringy tuna costs €18! They also rip you off on the portions. When I think about how I can have a seafood dinner in Cagliari for €20, I'd definitely avoid it.

22/12/2025: I was just passing by and saw that it was open until 3pm (while the others closed at 2pm), so I looked and stopped by. A large group of people were having lunch inside, so I sat on the covered and enclosed terrace. I was greeted by kind, attentive service, but more importantly, they served a divine lobster pasta! Then I had a delicious tiramisu and moved on. It was an experience, I heartily recommend it!

18/03/2026: Had such a great night at Mirador Historic Osteria. The whole place has a really beautiful, relaxed vibe and feels super authentic. The food was amazing!!! everything we tried was full of flavour and clearly made with a lot of care. Definitely the kind of place where you enjoy every bite. Big shoutout to our waiter Shanu, who made the experience even better. He was super friendly, attentive without being over the top, and gave great recommendations. Honestly, couldn’t fault it. Would 100% go back!!! easy five stars

02/10/2025: Very nice place to stop, excellent ice cream and coffee, nice saleswomen. The dog, a Chihuahua, didn't bother anyone, on the contrary we were offered water. The restaurant next door also looks very nice.

07/10/2025: As soon as the owner said that they only serve water, beer or wine I knew I had come to the right place. Ignore the negative reviews, this place is perfect. Great food and you feel like you are sat in someone’s home. The restaurant is welcoming, warm and cosy. The food is comforting and the portions are very generous. It tastes like a family run restaurant and feels more authentic than many of the other restaurants that we have visited on the island. As a side note there is a great view from the car park.

05/01/2026: I'm a regular in the summer, and the winter opening was a very pleasant surprise! Priceless views, a rich menu with tasty and beautifully plated dishes, and prompt and friendly service. Prices are reasonable for the quality and setting. It will become a regular in the winter, too!

04/01/2026: After visiting this restaurant during the summer season, we returned during the week between New Year's Eve and Epiphany, and you can taste the difference. Although we've always had a great experience, with excellent food even in the summer, everything is truly top-notch now, both the service and the food. And even though the colors of the winter landscape are markedly different from those of summer, the location still holds its own. What can I say? I hope to return soon!

29/03/2026: We looked at the restaurant's menu and went in wanting trofie with pesto, Greek salad, and Caesar salad. We discovered, however, that this was the summer menu and therefore unavailable (no indication of this at the entrance). So we ordered 2 malloreddus, grilled cuttlefish, and lentil soup. The malloreddus were served after 50 minutes, the sauce tasted like the supermarket Barilla sauce, the pasta was overcooked and served lukewarm. One of the 2 cuttlefish wasn't cleaned (a brown, sour liquid), the lentils were bad, and the sauce seemed to be made with star broth. Oh, and the French fries (a side dish with the cuttlefish) were served after the main course, limp, greasy, and undercooked. A terrible experience; I don't remember ever eating so badly at a restaurant.

11/03/2026: Sunday, March 8, 2026. A TOTAL disappointment. After a very long 90-minute wait, the meat arrived cold, overcooked, and very tough. We're still waiting for the side dish!!!! We won't be back again.
