10/09/2025: Nice place, but nothing special. I think it's very expensive for what's on the menu. There's nothing for vegetarians. An appetizer for two, three first courses, and three desserts cost €200.

08/09/2025: The food was far too expensive and the portions were very small. The fish came with a piece of lettuce with a tomato and two small pieces of carrot. For that price, we simply expected a lot more attention to detail. Definitely not a recommendation.

09/09/2025: We ordered some takeout dishes, including the casca' Carlofortino (couscous). It was bland, and they'd added water. Perhaps to make it heavier... In any case, it was inedible. Thrown away.

16/09/2024: Cercavo un posto dove mangiarmi un bel piatto vista mare e camminando lungo mare ho visto questo posto così bello pieno di alberi una presenza proprio da mare 🤩 entrando mi sono innamorato sempre di più e tempo zero ci ha accolto un signore che penso sia uno dei responsabili super gentile ed elegante proprio come il posto .. posso dire una cosa la qualità non ha prezzo perché questa frase perché un po’ costano ma almeno si mangia davvero davvero bene.. sembrerebbe un posto turistico ma davvero buono quindi super consigliato⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

08/09/2024: A very nice evening with good music. The atmosphere is fantastic and the service is very friendly. Beach club during the day and restaurant after 8 p.m. in the evening. Parking is available across the street.

22/10/2025: A really nice restaurant set in the heart of the village. The outdoor area is well decorated with lovely outdoor lighting to create a very cosy atmosphere. Considering we visited out of season, I was still surprised at how busy it was. A wealthy menu, which made chosing our meals quite difficult. Waiters were pleasant, friendly, and luckily spoke english very well. I would usually take pictures of my food, but unfortunately not this time!

27/07/2025: Ho mangiato qui un crudo eccellente , poi ho ordinato insieme agli amici degli spaghetti vongole e bottarga , sono arrivati dopo una estenuante attesa di più di un ora e purtroppo immangiabili. Mi hanno rovinato il piacere del crudo. Il tutto in ambiente caotico .

20/07/2025: Mi hanno fatto aspettare 41 minuti cronometrati pur dicendo di avere fretta, e dopo la lunga attesa sul mio tavolo si è presentata una pizza surgelata. PESSIMO

22/10/2025: Exceptional establishment. They brought us huge, very filling focaccia. The sandwiches were amazing! Delicious! The staff were very kind... The owners were friendly and kind... We'll be back... The beach was gorgeous.

03/08/2025: Il ristorante Il Marino, a Puntaldia, colpisce inizialmente con un bellissimo locale, curato nei dettagli e piacevole da vedere. Anche il servizio è impeccabile: personale rapido, gentile, presente. Una volta arrivati i piatti, l’esperienza cambia radicalmente. Il menù è un trionfo di salse, riduzioni, creme, aceto balsamico – tutto, a mio avviso, fuorché il gusto vero degli ingredienti, in particolare del pesce. I sapori risultano coperti, standardizzati, privi di identità. Piatti figli di una cucina che sembra puntare più all’effetto visivo che alla sostanza. Si ha la sensazione di una proposta pensata per piacere a tutti e finire nel dimenticatoio subito dopo. Io non lo consiglierei.

01/09/2025: A very simple and basic butcher's restaurant. Quick service guaranteed by the lovely and talented Caterina. Quality meat and porceddu. Reasonable prices considering the Costa Rican average.

21/11/2025: Not cheap but recommendable. We chose the menu. I don't understand the bad reviews in any way. The restaurant was a little pearl. The dishes and ingredients were mostly from the region and very traditional. The service was extremely friendly. Sometimes a little too much for you, but trying very hard. Thank you very much. The food was the best we had in Sardinia. A little tip from us: add prices on the website and on the map. That makes things easier. The same goes for the wine list. The sommelier was wonderful and we enjoyed a fabulous Sardinian wine. We have been there on 4/10/21. *** Summary *** Price / performance: 3/5 Food: 4.5 / 5 Service: 4.5/5 Atmosphere: 4.8/5

07/09/2025: Great place, stunning view, amazing decor, perfect service.

18/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel with two children for three nights in mid-October. Check-in was very pleasant. They explained to us which direction the wind would be blowing in the next few days and which beaches they recommended. The in-house restaurant was a dream in terms of food, so we spent two evenings there. The service staff was also very good. Whether at meals or at reception, the staff were always friendly. That's unfortunately still rare in Germany. And I trained as a hotel manager myself and always look at the restaurant industry with a strict eye. I like to find something to complain about. ;-) Not at this hotel, however. Unfortunately, the pool wasn't heated. But that didn't bother my husband and children. The rooms were cleaned daily. There were more than enough towels. You could borrow umbrellas, toys, etc. for the beach. The Wi-Fi was faster than at home. The city center was a 15-minute walk away. It was the perfect location for us. The nearest beaches are a 5-minute drive away, the city center and supermarket are 2 minutes away, and the location is quiet with a view of the mountains.

18/10/2025: The rooms are a bit dated, but this is more than compensated for by the overall package and, above all, the incredible friendliness and humanity of the staff. -Eating in the restaurant in the evening is highly recommended 👍🏽 -Superbly maintained grounds and a beautiful (unheated) pool 👍🏽 -There are several cats living on the property, and when our children wanted to pet them, a staff member was immediately on hand to give them small treats to entice them 👍🏽 -When one of our children injured his knee, he received immediate help, the wound was cleaned, and he was given a hug. You could really feel the humanity shown to you🫶🏼 -Moderate breakfast buffet, but you don't need more than that 👍🏽 -Really good location, great advice on beaches, etc. 👍🏽 Highly recommended, many thanks to everyone involved with the hotel.

23/07/2025: Abbiano cenato in un'atmosfera da film, romantica e con una lieve brezza di vento. Conduzione familiare, abbiamo visitato "lu stazzu" dove veniva cucinato il maialino da latte e provato diversi piatti tipici. Assolutamente consigliato!

09/07/2025: Si fa fatica a descrivere l esperienza vissuta in questo ristorante. La posizione è carina, ma appena si mette piede nel ristorante si ha l impressione che tutto sia un po’ lasciato al caso. Seduti al regalo arriva il primo cameriere che ci chiede solo se volevamo dell acqua. Dopo un po’ arriva il secondo chiediamo un piatto fuori menù: una tartare di tonno. Dopo aver chiesto al maitre di sala, allo chef ci arriva. Presentazione molto casalinga qualità buona. Ai primi un flop totale. Risotto e fregola piatti senza un minimo di sapore. Pago un conto di ca 150€ per una tartare, due primi, 2 tagliate di anguria e 2 calici di vino. Il dopo è ancora più assurdo. Poi aver lasciato il locale ci raggiunge il maitre di sala e ci chiede se dal conto poteva togliere il primo che non avevamo mangiato. Allucinante

25/10/2025: The price/quality ratio is poor. The service is pleasant, the portions are small, the food quality is average, and the prices are high. Any other restaurant in Calassetta will be better.

10/10/2025: We spent four days at the hotel in October. The location was unbeatable in Cala Gonone, right on the seafront. The spacious room had a jacuzzi on the terrace, new amenities, and sea views from the bed, allowing us to watch the sunrise. The breakfast was varied and high-quality. The staff was wonderful, making you feel at home. We will definitely return!

30/09/2025: Ideal location, designer hotel, large room facing the sea, beautiful bathroom, varied and generous breakfast. Flawless then? Not really. Armchair on the balcony is broken and unusable... hidden by cushions. Balneotherapy bath that sends out black particles from the jets. The reception says a little "sorry, I'll report it" but doesn't make a goodwill gesture and even charges for the drink taken at the bar during checkout and the beach towels. For a room at €300 a night!!!! Owners (too) spoiled or unprofessional. As for the restaurant, avoid it. A long menu of... frozen products. Uncomfortable chairs. All for €50 per person for 2 courses. There are much better options not far down the street.
