11/10/2025: We were here with our three children. We ordered two pizzas, spaghetti pomedoro, a grilled vegetable dish, an antipasti platter, and a small salad. The pizzas were completely drenched in oil, making it almost impossible to cut them. They were more like eating them. The salad, which consisted only of cabbage, was unseasoned (perhaps that's common in Italy). The baguette that was served with it contained housemates. The first time I had it, I noticed a dead grilled spider on the baguette, which was still intact. I pointed it out to the waitress. She just laughed, took the bread, and said... "A spider..." The next piece of baguette had a black dot in it. So I ripped it open, and inside was... a beetle... delicious... that definitely took away my appetite 🫣... At the next table, we watched as the waitress first spilled the hot sauce from her plate on an elderly lady (which can happen accidentally), and then the same table sent back their food (a huge piece of meat and fries) because it was still bloody. The gentleman politely reminded the waitress that he wanted it medium-well, not bloody, and the waitress took two plates without comment. I don't think hygiene is a priority here, and unfortunately, I absolutely cannot recommend the restaurant...

09/10/2025: Wonderful lunch with friends, unforgettable spaghetti with clams, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We'll definitely be back.

05/10/2025: We ordered tuna and swordfish, the food was served cold, and the waitress insisted it was the right thing to do, while being rude. The place is pure mass processing; the food was taken away and reheated. It's a shame we returned it—four years ago, we were very satisfied.

14/07/2025: Abbiamo soggiornato una settimana in questa splendida struttura, cosa dire?! Appena si arriva dalla strada si vede questa imponente e bella struttura che non è da meno al suo interno, stile antico con travi di legno, quadri ed altro che lo rifiniscono perfettamente!! La nostra camera dava sulla piscina, molto bella, e poi 5 scalini e ci ritrovavamo sotto al portico del ristorante dove abbiamo sempre cenato! L' asso nella macchina di questa struttura sono stati i camerieri, sempre impeccabile con la massima gentilezza e i vari consigli sulle spiagge e su tanto altro, vogliamo ringraziare di cuore Pasquale, Antonio, le nuove new entry Alessio e Chantal, e anche gli altri che ho avuto meno modo di conoscere!!! Parliamo di cose belle e cose da rivedere! Noi avevamo preso la mezza pensione che era sempre un primo e secondo con contorno, uno di pesce e uno di terra, abbiamo quasi sempre trovato ciò che ci piaceva, una sera per problemi di intolleranza alimentare non potendo mangiare il menù proposto la cucina ha fatto in modo di trovato la soluzione, non siamo mai rimasti delusi e le porzioni veramente abbandonati! Cose da rivedere secondo me, alcune piccole accortezze sulla camera ma comunque molto carine!! Per me punto di dispiacere la colazione.La colazione era la classica con uovo sodo, pezzi di schiaccine e affatteti soliti, non è che mancasse la quantità ma ci vorrebbe una varietà più nuova, tipo prodotti del luogo sia dolci che salati,e poi basta con i classici affettati e uovo sodo, ma bel'uovo affrittellato, all' occhio di bue ed altro! Il Tanit è vicino con la macchina a tantissime belle spiagge!! Se volete uscire la sera con la macchina arrivate ai paesi vicini, ma noi ci facevamo cullare dalla musica di sottofondo del ristorante e andavamo al letto!! Mia figlia di 12 anni è stata felicissima della piscina e di tutto!! Un altro consiglio mettete nel menù mezza pensione una sera anche la pizza, visto che siete anche pizzeria!! Noi comunque abbiamo lasciato questa splendida struttura e personale con occhi lucidi e sperando di poterci tornare presto! Un abbraccio.

07/07/2025: Siamo arrivati alle 9 e si sono accorti della nostra presenza solo 10 minuti dopo in cui ci anno fatto sedere e ci hanno chiesto se volessimo acqua dando per scontato che i bambini (quasi tutti oltre i dieci anni ) non volessero niente. Sulle pizze abbastanza buone ma servite a distanza di 20 minuti a gruppi da 3 portando i pure 2 pizze sbagliate quindi lascio 3 stelle perché la pizza era buona ma l'organizzazione non al top

28/09/2025: I was shocked. When I entered, I greeted him with a good morning, and in response, the older gentleman, looking at me with a very superior air, dismissed me by telling me it was late (2 pm) and closed. If you want to feel at home, I recommend it. NEVER AGAIN 🤬🤬

07/09/2025: At dusk, mosquitoes eat you alive, so they hand out free mosquito spray. We were five minutes early and were immediately made aware of it. The senior manager didn't even look at us, but the junior manager made an effort. The overall pleasant atmosphere of the nice restaurant is overshadowed by the senior manager's mood, even though there are some positive reviews on this website. However, I am someone who thrives on positive vibes - especially on vacation - so I can't report any of that here. ...tolerated paying 54 euros for two rather small pasta dishes, some salad, and a drink each... I didn't like that, especially since I speak fluent Italian. Overall, I wouldn't recommend anyone try the restaurant. The time spent here is too precious to be annoyed afterwards; it's a 50/50 chance, so to speak - depending on your mood, but I definitely don't need that.

11/10/2025: A real favorite! ​We spent a week on vacation and returned to Trattoria da Sara several times, so we were completely charmed! ​The service is impeccable, with a very pleasant waitress who offers excellent advice, which is truly appreciated. ​The food is excellent and flavorful, both the pasta and the seafood dishes. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the homemade ingredients. ​Furthermore, the prices are very reasonable for the quality offered. We also noticed that it's a trattoria frequented by locals, which is always a good sign. ​We highly recommend this place for an authentic and delicious culinary experience!

01/10/2025: I often go for lunch and choose from the daily menu. Excellent cuisine and excellent value. The dishes NEVER disappoint. They're flavorful and the portions are just right, so you can eat everything. This, for me, is a plus. I recommend it, and I recommend calling to make a reservation.

27/10/2025: Everything was good. But my steak was too touristy for me, and it was very tender but tasted burnt. The fried calamari was average. The myrtle tiramisu was excellent and unforgettable. I'll have to come back to try the first courses. They smelled and looked great.

01/08/2025: The best pizza I've ever eaten, and for only €6, it's unbelievable. The place is so simple, yet so amazingly delicious.

11/06/2025: Terrible, tough meat.... I asked for the meat well done and they brought it rare, I sent it back to cook it more and they brought it back almost the same. And yet the place had been well recommended to me by friends.

13/10/2025: The hotel is very clean, family-friendly, well located, the staff are very kind and welcoming, the restaurant is very good, we had a great vacation. It's a romantic hotel surrounded by greenery, the town of Villasimius is a 5-minute drive away, I recommend it without hesitation.

17/08/2025: I also think they need to change the pizza chef. The pizza with buffalo mozzarella and cherry tomatoes was the only good thing. The pizza dough seemed reheated, and there were so many cherry tomatoes thrown away and not even seasoned... The other vegetable pizza, what can I say? Two small pieces of eggplant, zucchini, and two pepper fillets dressed with I don't know how much oil. As an appetizer, while waiting for the pizza, we ordered a seafood salad, and the prawns tasted like ammonia... The only redeeming feature is the location: it's on the sea.

02/10/2025: Terrible experience: an aperitif for four people consisting of a bottle of white wine and a paltry platter of discounted cold cuts. The whole thing cost €78. I'll leave the reviews to others!

17/09/2025: Excellent food and service. Wonderful location. Not a huge menu but it caters for all tastes including a kids menu.
