Had dinner on May 15th, tasting of house appetizers, fresh tuna steak, very soft and not at all dry, with arugula and parmesan, fried potatoes, sorbet for me and seadas for the husband, everything delicious, generous portions, very friendly.

Excellent meat and seafood dishes. Friendly, welcoming, and helpful staff.

We'd like to thank the staff (both chefs and waiters) for a wonderful evening: excellent food (antipasti, main courses, desserts, etc. 🤩) and incredibly warm service. This is a family-run restaurant, and the dishes are enhanced with family secrets—very delicious!

A wonderful, quaint restaurant which we happened to chance on because it was close to our hotel. Fantastic Sardinien food. We had the Porchetti and because I really wanted to try Fregola but am not a mussels fan, they made it for me with Shrimps. That's extra service that's not to be taken for granted now adays. The food was fantastic, the service was super (Elisabeth) as well as the suggestions for desert and an aperitif. A definite recommendation if you'd like to experience a real, local Sardinia

Trattoria da Sara offers a nice alternative to the city places but do not be fooled, as on my visit, out of the holiday season, the portions were not filling, we were a party of four, the fish was properly descaled and it contained a lot of bones, and we did order a fillet which should not have that many bones, nor was the beef cooked correctly being undercoomed, the order was beef with chimichurri sauce, 5 thin pieces of beef for 16Euros. We were hungry so we had to eat something as we were tired from a very long day. My recommendation, phone beforehand, ask if things are on the menu as when i came i asked with pictures published on their google location they did not have them on the menu. E.g a plate of grilled swordfish and calamari. I will give that they tried their best in the situation, but was sub par in my opinion. A positive is the Fregola dish with sea food. Tasty and filling.

If you like seafood, I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic atmosphere, a super nice young woman served us. The food was delicious and fresh. Unfortunately, we're only here for a week, but we'll be back again soon. Thank you so much for the wonderful evenings. You were the best. The food is excellent.

We had lunch at this excellent restaurant today. The service and quality were impeccable. We'll definitely be back!
