23/05/2025: Consigliati da un persona del luogo siamo saliti a questo locale, un po’ fuori dalla zona centrale, ed abbiamo fatto benissimo! Due antipasti eccezionali! Cozze gratinate… ma soprattutto bruschetta con lardo di calamaro… assolutamente da non perdere… poi delle fantastiche linguine con una carbonare di ricci… meraviglioso piatto condito solo con ricci di mare ma con un “ mondo” da raccontare. Prezzo in linea con la qualità… assolutamente accettabile

29/04/2025: Nel cuore di Otranto, a due passi dall'ingresso del Castello, sorge questo locale raffinato ma dalla atmosfera rilassata grazie allo staff accogliente e preparato. Aprendo il menù si comprende subito che parliamo di un locale con piatti a base di pesce ma non convenzionali. Le preparazioni sono inusuali, gli ingredienti ottimi. Alcune di esse valgono una visita come la carbonara ai ricci di mare (non con le uova ma con le uova di riccio) a dir poco strepitosa e che nessuno riesce ad imitare. Il resto dei piatti sono di uguale livello. Prezzi sopra la media ma in linea con quanto servito.

14/05/2025: Very attractive, refined and well-kept location. I highly recommend it to everyone. They do weddings, confirmations and communions. Reservations are mandatory. Friends recommended it to me, I haven't tried it myself yet. But they say the food is good, very good

04/06/2025: Voor de 2e maal hier gegeten en was opnieuw super lekker. Je hoeft hier niet te zijn voor de hippe sfeer, sjiek of modern interieur. Maar voor een overheerlijke pizza met dunne deeg, lekkere huiswijn een bord met vlees dat smelt in de mond en vriendelijke bediening. Italiaanse keuken tussen locals.

12/05/2025: Heerlijk eten voor een hele kleine prijs. Geen opsmuk maar simpel en erg gezellig tussen de locals. Er komen nauwelijks toeristen en de bediening sprak dan ook geen Engels, maar we kwamen er met elkaar wel uit. Zelfs toen we vroegen om eerst samen een pizza te delen en daarna samen een pasta. Geen probleem en erg vriendelijk. Voor € 45 met z’n tweeën gegeten, inclusief wijn, nagerecht en koffie. We wilden fooi geven maar dat werd weggewimpeld als ‘niet nodig’.

30/03/2025: E' stato come immergersi nella natura, gustando delle pietanze squisite, con prodotti a km0. Non solo le semplici pietanze da agriturismo, ma realizzate con i loro prodotti rivisitati con ottima fantasia. Abbiamo riscontrato cortesia, qualità e professionalità. Abbiamo pranzato all'aperto, riscaldati dal tepore del sole. Eccellenza del territorio segnalata dal nostro tour operator di fiducia e della zona💛❤️

23/03/2025: Siamo stati a cena in questo locale sabato sera assaggiando il menù invernale per la prima volta (ci siamo stati altre volte,ma sempre in estate). Partendo dalla location, posso dire sia molto accogliente, un piccolo camino acceso nella saletta in cui siamo stati collocati, servizio ottimo, camerieri molto attenti e gentili. Noi eravamo in 5, ma abbiamo scelto solo 4 menù ( due totali e due parziali) in quanto mio figlio aveva già cenato visto l'orario da noi scelto. La carrellata di antipasti ( tutti ottimi) è arrivata subito 🤩 nelle giuste quantità. Io personalmente ho scelto menù parziale, ordinando come secondo le bombette con contorno di patate e insalata. Infine, ho scelto come dolce fuori dal menù il tiramisù,bello da vedere in un vasetto simil terracotta, ma soprattutto buonissimo. Prima del dolce abbiamo mangiato la macedonia di frutta compresa nel prezzo che gentilmente hanno offerto a mio figlio nonostante non avesse ordinato nulla, cosa non da tutti visto che i piccoli spesso vengono ignorati🥰 Gli amari prodotti da loro ci sono stati offerti. Infine, posso dire che il rapporto qualità- prezzo ci sia in pieno. Abbiamo pagato menù parziale 25€, totale 28€, dolci 5€ ciascuno, coperto 2€, ricevendo un arrotondamento sul totale. Noi siamo soddisfatti, torneremo certamente!

11/05/2025: An environment that seems welcoming and a menu that seems "authentic", but in reality the waiting times were inhumane; we arrived with a reservation at 1pm, the starters were brought to us at 2.20pm and the first courses at 3.10pm. The pieces of horse were rubbery, they almost looked like nerves, there was a small piece of plastic in the parmigiana, the only really good dish was the carbonara. The price, around 20 euros per person, would also be adequate if the service and the environment were equally adequate, but unfortunately this was not the case.

15/04/2025: I was disappointed in the expectations I had of this place, once my favorite. Starting from the long, very long waiting times, and ending with the mediocre quality of the first and second courses. I'm sorry but this was my last time.

12/04/2025: Locale frequentato per decenni. Oggi ci torno ogni tanto, sia per la nostalgia della nostra giovinezza, sia per la piacevolezza del tempo che vi si può trascorrere. Ai clienti più antiche non è sfuggito che il carrello degli antipasti ha perduto le cose più carine e costose, quindi non li prendiamo più. Anche perché il carrello degli antipasti è passato proprio come concetto. In effetti, la locanda è proprio la scena di un film sul sud degli anni Ottanta, nel bene e nel male. Il bene sta in una cucina semplice, familiare e a costi impressionanti. Una pizza margherita a 5€ non so dove si possa più trovare. Il male sta nell’ immutabilità. Il personale è molto gentile. Ognuno si regoli

08/05/2025: Decent restaurant, but I didn't like the linguine with clams at all (perhaps the frozen clams). The dish wasn't on the menu, but I asked for it as an alternative to seafood linguine. The rest is good (peppered mussels, linguine with sea urchins, fried prawns and calamari).

05/05/2025: Eating at Piccapane is a unique experience: a family environment surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent vegan dishes prepared with attention and love. This was the feeling we felt yesterday at lunch, from the welcome from the very kind staff to the tasting of the dishes, in the choice of which we were carefully guided. The food is incredible, a joy of simple flavors with refined combinations. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their products. Finding an entirely vegan restaurant in Salento was a dream until recently. Piccapane is truly a virtuous example, spokesperson for a change that we hope will spread more and more. (access is also allowed to animals ❤️)

22/04/2025: Really super nice atmosphere, great service, great vegan food. Everything here is organic, vegan and made in-house, such as: the flour. You should reserve in advance

25/03/2025: The fish is excellent and fresh (apart from the frying). Very kind staff, fair price. If you don't want to queue, come at 8pm. I would avoid frying because they don't do it at the moment and the quality obviously suffers.

28/02/2025: great food concept. you chose what you want to eat. than short waiting, it's delivered to your table. Fresh. And delicious. you can spend either 10 EUR per person including drink, or 30 EUR , if you chose king prawns or oysters

11/05/2025: Food is super great it was fresh ingredients . The service was very friendly and fast. The atmosphere is breathtaking the beach view and it’s clean sorrounding! Highly recommended for a chilling afternoon lunch.

18/04/2025: Non vedo l'ora di tornare ad Otranto per cenare in questo ristorantino, un po' fuori dalla zona dei ristoranti turistici, ma comunque in centro. Gli antipasti della casa sono veramente buonissimi: tutti piatti di terra caserecci che ti fanno sentire veramente in salento! Abbiamo preso anche la pasta con la ricotta forte, veramente consigliata! Niente di particolare i secondi, purtroppo ai dolci non siamo riusciti ad arrivare...ma vale la pena tornare anche solo per fare il bis di antipasti! Assolutamente consigliato per chi vuole assaporare piatti semplici e gustosissimi! Il servizio cortese, il prezzi corretti.

29/12/2024: Siamo stati molto contenti e soddisfatti. Gli antipasti misticerano tutti molto buoni. Ci sono state offerte delle pittule appena fatte, calde croccanti e saporite. Vermicelli cozze e fagioli e sagne ncannulate saporite ed equilibrate.
