22/07/2025: It was recommended to us, and it was a great choice. A very nice, quiet place. We were served very kindly by all the staff, including the owners, and we found the food quality and price to be excellent.

20/08/2025: The orecchiette alla salentina were excellent, and the mixed fried fish was very tasty.

15/08/2025: We were served by the brunette waitress wearing dark glasses: rude, bored with her job, and offensively "sarcastic." The entire evening, we were afraid to even order a pizza and a Coke because they judged it to be our taste. We were reading the menus, and she practically snatched them from our hands and took them to another table without even asking "please," and the same thing happened with a bottle of water. After several insults disguised as irony, when we reached the cashier, at the checkout, they refused to let us pay separately, something unthinkable in 2025, especially for a table of 13. I'll end with one detail: when splitting the bill, they threw a calculator at us, saying, "You do it yourself." The only positive note was the pizza.

15/08/2025: Dinner with the family. We didn't use the rooms. As for the food, you have to like their vegan approach. For me (a carnivore), the appetizer was excellent, the first course was perhaps a bit too heavy, and the dessert was delicious. We didn't order the second course because we were too full. What's striking, however, is the tranquility of the place, a true oasis of peace just steps from the road. Add to that a lovely welcome from Francesca, and you've got a truly relaxing evening.

05/05/2025: Eating at Piccapane is a unique experience: a family environment surrounded by greenery where you can enjoy excellent vegan dishes prepared with attention and love. This was the feeling we felt yesterday at lunch, from the welcome from the very kind staff to the tasting of the dishes, in the choice of which we were carefully guided. The food is incredible, a joy of simple flavors with refined combinations. There is also a small shop where you can purchase their products. Finding an entirely vegan restaurant in Salento was a dream until recently. Piccapane is truly a virtuous example, spokesperson for a change that we hope will spread more and more. (access is also allowed to animals ❤️)

27/05/2025: Courteous and helpful staff. Quiet little place. Varied menu, with many first courses available, from meat to fish to pizzeria. I attach some photos of the dinner served in this restaurant. The pizza is cooked in a wood oven, and in winter there is the possibility of dining next to the lit fireplace, which makes this restaurant my absolute favourite. The pizza topped with onion, dried tomatoes and chips, tortelli with gratin cheeses baked, pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, seafood salad and frying. I forgot to photograph the pizza, thin and well seasoned. Stupendous.

31/08/2025: Excellent and plentiful appetizers Pizza by the meter is a great idea, but they should also offer a traditional round pizza (they only make it for those with food intolerances). Slow service, about an hour before taking the order.

17/04/2025: The place is very nice, spacious and the staff is very friendly. The quality of the food did not seem excellent to me, starting from the decidedly tasteless marinated tuna, up to the swordfish carpaccio, soaked in vinegar to excess. I didn't mind the pizza by the slice.

18/04/2025: Non vedo l'ora di tornare ad Otranto per cenare in questo ristorantino, un po' fuori dalla zona dei ristoranti turistici, ma comunque in centro. Gli antipasti della casa sono veramente buonissimi: tutti piatti di terra caserecci che ti fanno sentire veramente in salento! Abbiamo preso anche la pasta con la ricotta forte, veramente consigliata! Niente di particolare i secondi, purtroppo ai dolci non siamo riusciti ad arrivare...ma vale la pena tornare anche solo per fare il bis di antipasti! Assolutamente consigliato per chi vuole assaporare piatti semplici e gustosissimi! Il servizio cortese, il prezzi corretti.

29/12/2024: Siamo stati molto contenti e soddisfatti. Gli antipasti misticerano tutti molto buoni. Ci sono state offerte delle pittule appena fatte, calde croccanti e saporite. Vermicelli cozze e fagioli e sagne ncannulate saporite ed equilibrate.

21/08/2025: We went to Arcu te pratu for the first time yesterday and they really deserve it, we found the staff, including the managers, extremely kind and helpful, the dishes were abundant but above all delicious and above all a rare thing lately in Puglia, the prices were really honest.... 29/06/2025: Staff not very experienced and unprepared.. 4 times we asked for a bottle of water after having practically finished dinner they brought 1 ok let's skip over it.. appetizer nothing exceptional. The first course was salty almost inedible It should be noted that the mussels of the first course were practically cold. It also happened at the table in front of us and honestly after we heard what the waitress or even the owner replied a review is in order. The risotto was the only dish that deserved 3 stars along with the tagliata 4 Waiters were not for one. We dedicate four stars to the view if we want to be honest.

29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a cena con tutta la famiglia. È stata una meravigliosa scoperta. I camerieri gentilissimi e simpatici ci hanno accolti con limonata fresca. Dopo un gustoso amuse bouche, abbiamo gustato diversi piatti a base di pesce tutti abbondanti e ricercati. Ci ha sorpreso la quantità di pesce fresco presente in tutte le portate. Dall' antipasto al dolce è stata un' esperienza culinaria memorabile.

25/07/2025: Ieri, io e mia moglie, siamo andati a cenare, in codesto rinomato ristorante. Abbiamo ordinato due fritture Senza spine, 19,00 euro cadauno due contorni, uno di patate e l'altro misto di broccoli carciofi carote ecc. Un'acqua minerale naturale e un calice di vino rosato. Le fritture 19,00 euro cadauno, nella norma, senza infamia e Senza lode, il vino non particolare 7,00 un calice, acqua panna 3,00. Coperto 6,00. I contorni, rifiutati in quanto non mangiabili, pertanto la signora alla cassa , ha avuto l'onestà di non conteggiarli. Costo finale 54,00. Delusione, in base alle recensioni, ci saremmo aspettati altro. Peccato,forse era una serata storta, oppure ognuno ha il proprio livello.

02/08/2025: Cena da asporto, tagliolini al nero di seppia con gamberi rossi, 88 euro per 4 porzioni assolutamente prive di sapore, i tagliolini sembravano pasta comprata al supermercato e “di seppia” non avevano proprio nulla. Personalmente lo sconsiglio, pessima esperienza.
