23/08/2026: They never disappoint in terms of rudeness and, above all, lack of professionalism! We wanted to have an aperitif while watching the Lecce game. I called in the morning to ask what game they were showing: they confirmed the Lecce game. We went there well in advance and ordered, but... it was a Juventus game!!! When I complained, they simply said the staff had changed and they didn't know what the morning staff had said!!! The same thing happened when I called...

16/08/2026: The time it took for just one pizza... We had to wait at least 2 hours. The worker pushed me twice. I don't recommend it for tourists.

14/08/2026: FOR THE OWNER: I ask you, how little care you have for the restaurant, the staff, the food, and the customers. We arrived with a table reserved for 12 and found one set for 8. After checking the table, as if we had made a mistake, the head waiter showed us a table with a good dose of rudeness. We were strongly encouraged to order all the dishes at the same time (without distinguishing between appetizers and main courses, so to speak). Is it because there are double shifts and you have to hurry??? The waiters seemed like pack mules, rushing back and forth with no respect for the dignity of the workers, of human beings, or of professionalism. The food? Humiliated and mistreated like perhaps I've never seen in Sicily. The grilled octopus only smelled like it was grilled. Let's talk about the €30 conchiglia appetizer: dried, reheated sardines, equally reheated fish balls (they didn't even bother frying them on the spot), a mussel tabbouleh with two pieces of shell and filaments attached, a white fish with celery that was almost spoiled. And I'll stop here with the food so as not to bore you. The icing on the cake, the aforementioned head waiter rather insistently invited us to go and pay the bill, with liqueur and coffee (complimentary) directly at the cash register because he had to accommodate "hungry people." Dear owner, I ask you to put your hand on your conscience and show greater respect in the future...

19/08/2026: A truly disappointing experience considering the premise, given that it's praised as one of the most highly recommended restaurants in the area. The mixed appetizer was tiny, paltry, almost entirely fried, unrefined, with four meatballs and little else, more reminiscent of a bland trattoria menu or a children's party. The risotto tasted little like fish and very starchy, the spaghetti with mussels was good, and the paccheri were quite good. The fried fish was decent, with the shrimp appearing fresh but still small (due to bad fishing or a cost-cutting?) The worst part was the service: the staff wasn't very experienced and lacking in enthusiasm. The wine didn't arrive, and we had to ask for it. The first courses arrived in shifts, with people eating and others standing around for a long time. They didn't bring knives for the second courses. The table looked like a glass recycling bin, with six bottles of water that had run out during dinner and were never picked up. The salad, the side dish, was served too late, after we'd already finished our main courses; furthermore, since it was, rightly, unseasoned, we even had to ask for condiments, which weren't brought initially. A bitter taste, contrary to all expectations, is the dining room: the roof structure is made of painted plumber's iron pipes, topped with reeds and insulation. A disgrace for a venue in such a prime location.

21/08/2025: Beautiful experience in the center of Uggiano, it's a shame it was only on the last night before leaving.... everything was good, the meat was delicious, see you next time!!!

14/08/2025: My boyfriend and I had dinner today and the meat was truly delicious. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and approachable; they immediately made us feel at ease. You can tell the ingredients are top-quality, and the price is truly excellent for what you get. We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

16/02/2026: My experience did not meet my expectations. I believe the level of professionalism demonstrated was insufficient, especially regarding punctuality and customer service. The manager, who serves as director, did not demonstrate the attention and competence I would have expected from someone in that position.

25/01/2026: Today I had the pleasure of having lunch at the Hotel Ristorante Posidonia with some friends, guests of the kind owner, Chiara. It was a truly pleasant experience! The restaurant stands out for its welcoming and refined atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with friends. The freshness of the raw fish was exceptional: the quality and care taken in selecting the ingredients were clearly evident, making lunch a true pleasure for the palate. The dishes are prepared with care and passion. Each course had an authentic and rich flavor, a testament to the freshness and mastery of the Chef. The service was excellent, attentive and friendly, and the attention to detail made lunch even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the Posidonia restaurant to anyone looking for a quality dining experience in a peaceful and welcoming environment. We will definitely be back soon!

27/06/2026: A truly disappointing experience. The staff is incredibly unfriendly. I ordered a grilled tuna steak with my friend, and by the time I went to the restroom, the plate had vanished. I still had more than half of it left. They didn't bring me another plate, or even return my original order. The service at the register is appalling; they just throw an inflated price at you without even giving you a receipt. Avoid this place, friends.

02/11/2025: If you go to Lecce, you absolutely must go to Mamma Rita's! You'll enjoy excellent dishes, and the pizza is a must! The best! Friendliness, professionalism, cleanliness—it has it all. I recommend making a reservation because there are so many people wanting to eat there from opening to closing!

12/08/2026: I was there with my companion. My pizza bianca with mozzarella was so-so... the mozzarella was very rubbery and tasteless. The service was okay, but nothing special. Our outside table was wobbly, and we complained to one of the waitresses. They told us to put something under the table to make it level. This took almost 15 minutes before anyone took care of it, after we complained several times. Then the waitress refused to let me smoke my hand-rolled cigarette, assuming (without asking politely) that I was smoking a joint. This was because I had been given different rolling papers from the kiosk. We complained again about why I couldn't smoke them while others could. The waitress then said that she thought I was smoking a joint. I felt very uncomfortable. It would have been enough to simply ask and confirm what it actually was. The ambiance is beautiful, romantic, and idyllic. Despite the many passersby, you can eat there in peace.

19/05/2026: One star only because zero isn't allowed. Ordering from you was a terrible experience in every way. I can accept the wait on Saturday night, but serving pizzas in these conditions is simply disgraceful. Not a single one of the pizzas ordered was worth it. The mozzarella was sour, inedible, with a disgusting, burnt taste that clearly demonstrates the pizza chef's total inattention! And probably a poor oven cleanliness. A pizza like this shouldn't even leave the "pizzeria," let alone be delivered to a paying customer. If this is the quality you offer, you really have a serious problem. This is an experience you absolutely must not repeat.
