06/09/2025: We booked a day in advance and got a nice table outside. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. My wife is coeliac so they presented her with a gluten free menu (which was almost the same as the main menu).
Worth a visit if you are in Lecce. Perhaps book in advance if you can!

30/06/2025: El restaurante está situado justo enfrente del castillo en el casco antiguo de Otranto.
El comedor interior es un poco estrecho, así que optamos por el Wintergarden, que ofrece un poco más de espacio.
La comida está muy bien presentada y muy imaginativa.
Comenzamos con anchoas adobadas servidas con achicoria y mermelada de naranja, una combinación inusual que funciona sorprendentemente bien.
A continuación, tuvimos los espaguetis de erizo de mar, que era excepcional.
El servicio fue impecable.
Es un lugar muy conocido entre los lugareños, así que si estás planeando una visita, asegúrate de hacer una reserva, especialmente por la noche.
Los precios son más altos, pero los ingredientes son increíblemente frescos y los platos absolutamente deliciosos.
25/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato in un ambiente poco confortevole ,e siamo stati un po’ isolati dalla cameriera .Sembrava quasi che la nostra presenza non era gradita .A chiudere la cena si è presentato uno grosso scarafaggio proveniente dal soffitto che girava intorno al tavolo.
Il personale sembra abituato forse a scene come queste ,hanno schiacciato l’insetto e raccolto .
Tutto è tornato nella normalità ,ma noi siamo andati via un po’ infastiditi ,tutto può accadere ma almeno ci aspettavamo le scuse .Sicuramente non ci torneremo.
Qualità del cibo discreta per il prezzo pagato.

15/09/2025: Terrible pizza, exorbitant prices for the quality of the ingredients. Furthermore, calling it pizza is an insult to the tradition of this food; you'll receive a small pizza with minimal ingredients.
All this will leave you feeling thirsty and heavy all night.

10/09/2025: The food was excellent, both in quality and preparation.
The restaurant was beautiful, with a pleasant terrace and a large, convenient parking lot.
The service was slow, and that's understandable.
Unfortunately, we (a group of eight) were the victims of a mistake because, as we were candidly informed after a two-hour wait after eating our appetizer, our order had been lost.
When we complained about the long delay, we were told, in an almost intimidating and arrogant manner, that it was Saturday night and it was fine if we waited. Then the cherry on top. The same person (acting like the owner, probably the owner) repeatedly yelled at us as we were walking to the parking lot, saying, "But you never make mistakes in your job."
A terrible experience. What a shame.
08/09/2025: The quality of the food is unquestionable, but the overall experience was awful.
After waiting more than thirty minutes to order, we were brought an appetizer, then waited over two hours for the main course.
After threatening to leave, the dishes finally arrived at the table, but by then we were no longer hungry, and the drinks had become warm (one beer was sent back, already reduced to broth).
But beyond the wait, which was frankly intolerable, the worst thing was the attitude of the restaurant manager. Instead of apologizing for the inconvenience (apparently they had literally forgotten our order), he almost attacked us because we "dared" to say we weren't satisfied with the dinner. "Why, you never make mistakes in your work?" he asked us, without the slightest intention of correcting his mistakes. To top it all off, he even made us pay for the beer, which, almost unused, had been returned to the kitchen because it had become undrinkable due to the colossal delay.
In short, good food but terrible management.
I definitely won't be returning.

07/09/2025: I must compliment the staff for their impeccable table and kitchen management. The place was packed, but thanks to their impeccable table management and the speed of the kitchen, I was able to eat much faster than expected. The fried pizza and traditional pizza (Neapolitan style) were truly excellent, and the ingredients were even better. I really liked the place—elegant yet casual, with the sea just steps away and a beautiful view of the city... Congratulations, and thank you for the excellent experience.

21/07/2025: As a non-fish lover, I can assure you that coming here, in Puglia, is an EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE MISSED. A wide selection of products (all fresh, of course), you choose the cooking method, there's also sushi, and above all, it's COMPLETELY GLUTEN-FREE, meaning it's heaven for those with celiac disease.

04/06/2025: Voor de 2e maal hier gegeten en was opnieuw super lekker.
Je hoeft hier niet te zijn voor de hippe sfeer, sjiek of modern interieur. Maar voor een overheerlijke pizza met dunne deeg, lekkere huiswijn een bord met vlees dat smelt in de mond en vriendelijke bediening.
Italiaanse keuken tussen locals.

31/08/2025: Very nice and simple place... the pizza and fried foods are very good... the service could be improved, as not all the waiters pay attention to the tables and it's difficult to get their attention without calling them.
I recommend checking the beverage refrigerators, as I received warm beer and, to my disappointment, was told that they were all at that temperature without even changing it... what a shame.
Anyway, I want to give you my trust and I'll be back from time to time...

11/09/2025: A culinary gem in Puglia – authenticity you can taste!
We were fortunate enough to discover this wonderful restaurant during our stay in Puglia – and it was without a doubt one of the absolute highlights of our trip.
The warm, family atmosphere is immediately noticeable upon entry. The staff is warm, attentive, and takes the time to explain dishes and ingredients – with a genuine passion for Puglian cuisine.
The restaurant impresses with fresh, regional ingredients, attentive service, and a calm, authentic atmosphere – without any touristy gimmicks.
The linguine di mare was the highlight of the evening: perfectly cooked al dente, with a delicate seafood sauce that was intensely flavorful but not overpowering. Accompanied by a glass of local white wine – simple and harmonious.
A restaurant that doesn't just serve Puglia, but lives it. If you're looking for good food without a lot of fuss, you'll find it here.

04/09/2025: We visited this restaurant in Lecce with a group of six, with a reservation, and initially the experience was promising. The outdoor setting is charming, nestled in the streets of the historic center, and the food was served promptly (a 10-20 minute wait, absolutely adequate).
Unfortunately, the evening took a turn for the worse due to a sudden downpour. I believe the staff didn't handle the situation promptly: several dishes were left out in the rain, and for some of my friends, virtually the entire dinner was wasted. We customers had to make do with "saving" what food we could, eating standing up like 15 other people around us.
The staff only gave us a small corner of a table to finish what we had salvaged, a gesture I appreciate, but unfortunately it wasn't accompanied by any other thoughtfulness. When it came time to get the bill, no discount was given, other than the reduction of the cover charge (which, in reality, wasn't applied, given the situation). We pointed out that some people had eaten practically nothing but still found themselves having to pay for everything, and the discussion became tense, with sometimes rude responses.
In short: the dishes we sampled were good, but the overall experience was ruined by poorly trained, unresponsive, and, at times, rude service. I believe that, given such a difficult evening for the customers, a little more attention would have been warranted.
