15/08/2026: Unfortunately, it was a very negative experience, even though the food was quite good overall. What left me most perplexed was the complete lack of transparency. Once we were seated at the table, we weren't given any menus, so we couldn't tell which dishes were available, nor, more importantly, their prices. Ordering under these conditions is essentially eating "in the dark." There's also a sign outside indicating that the POS terminal isn't working. Once we went inside to pay—which I highly recommend—the terminal, strangely enough, worked perfectly. Another very negative note: when we paid, we weren't given a receipt. As for the bill, we had a mixed grill, a rib-eye steak that, in my opinion, was anything but horse meat, two sides (fries and salad), and a bottle of sparkling water. When we asked for the bill, they took our order, disappeared for a few minutes without any explanation, and returned simply telling us a total of €60, without any details or receipt. The problem isn't so much the price itself, but the total lack of clarity and transparency. If you expect to charge a bill without a menu, without prices displayed, or without a receipt, it's difficult to trust. The food may be decent, but the rest of the experience was decidedly disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend it. I'm not giving it a star only because the food was actually good.

10/08/2026: The perfect place to enjoy truly delicious, well-cooked horse meat, in an authentic, rustic setting, with attentive service that makes you feel at home. Your dinner menu is created on the spot, with the staff verbally explaining their suggestions based on how much and what you'd like to eat, so you can savor everything and in just the right quantities. The fried foods are excellent, the horse diaphragm is sublime, and the house wine is a definite plus! Highly recommended!

07/08/2026: We dined at Miramare in Otranto and had a truly positive experience. The dishes were excellent, carefully prepared with quality ingredients, the value was absolutely right, and the sea view was simply spectacular, making the dinner even more enjoyable. A special thanks, however, goes to Sara. She was extremely attentive, thoughtful, and meticulous throughout the service, always present without ever being intrusive. Her professionalism, combined with her kindness and smile, truly made the difference and helped make the evening even more enjoyable. Compliments to the entire staff, but a special shout-out to Sara: waiters like her really make the difference. We'll definitely be back!

06/08/2026: Fantastic experience in Otranto: excellent food and impeccable service! We visited this restaurant last week at the end of our vacation. We were really intrigued by the Mira Mare restaurant, drawn by the view of the Otranto waterfront and the reviews we'd read... and we have to say, it exceeded all expectations! Delicious, fresh dishes with attention to detail. A special thanks goes to Sara, the woman who looked after us at our table with her incredibly kind and courteous manner, but above all with a love for her work, evident in every gesture. She was able to advise us with great expertise, guiding us on a journey of exceptional flavor. Such attentive and genuine service truly makes the difference. Heartfelt compliments to her and the entire staff. We recommend it to anyone passing through Otranto!

20/08/2026: This typical, if not historic, trattoria is located on a quiet street, just crowded with people passing through in July and August. It might be better inside, but we ate outside. The service was excellent, fast, and accurate. It's basically a pizzeria by the meter, so there are more than two of you, so you can order various dishes and try them. It looks good, but I haven't tried it, but it's typically Roman. The typical dishes are well-cooked, and the experience was great. The beers, even the draft ones, were a bit cold, perhaps because they had a problem with the tap. To give an overall impression, you'd have to try all the dishes, but I've only been once. Nothing pretentious, but it's a good compromise, especially for the price, considering it's not exactly central, so you can definitely save some money compared to other more centrally located establishments. It's within walking distance. There's plenty of seating, so during hot weather, it's probably best to book.

20/08/2026: A decidedly negative experience. We sat down around 9:30 PM and ordered a mixed grill and a steak. The meat arrived at 10:50 PM, after about an hour and twenty minutes of waiting—definitely excessive for two grilled dishes. Unfortunately, the wait wasn't even worth the quality: the mixed grill was truly disappointing, the meat was of very low quality and not at all up to expectations. The steak was slightly better, but still tough. At that point, after all that wait, it was probably just hunger that made it acceptable. The service was also very disappointing, and the bill, considering the overall quality of the dinner and the experience, was absolutely inadequate. In short: biblical waiting times, disappointing meat, service in need of improvement, and terrible value. The best thing about the dinner? The Coca-Cola Zero.

09/08/2026: We had dinner this evening at this beautiful place by the sea. It's a shame the rest leaves a lot to be desired. Drinks are served practically warm, and when we pointed this out, they brought us ice that melted after two extra minutes. We had to wait over an hour for two pizzas that were honestly the worst I've ever eaten. I strongly advise against it.

08/08/2026: The food is delicious, the staff is attentive, but above all, very warm. They place great importance on their guests' well-being and uphold a tradition worth experiencing. Worth a try.

12/08/2026: A real tourist trap. The worst Lecce has to offer.

28/07/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs! I've never eaten such bad carbonara. Even I, who can't cook, have made it better. My wife ordered pasta with meatballs in tomato sauce, and it was the same! We couldn't finish it. To top it all off, two pasta dishes, a beer, and a Coke cost €44—it was a meal I couldn't stomach!

09/08/2026: We had lunch as a couple at this restaurant, which was empty when we arrived. Unfortunately, the experience turned sour: the dishes arrived at different times, forcing one of us to eat while the other waited. As for the food, it was simply appalling. The fish we were served smelled strongly of ammonia, a clear sign of expired or improperly stored products, and it was accompanied by tasteless frozen fries. It was both disappointing and unhealthy. The service was also completely mediocre. Lovers of good food and fresh ingredients should definitely avoid this place; there are undoubtedly much better options in Gallipoli.

08/08/2026: A very disappointing experience. Everything is fine, but you can't pay 25 euros for 4 PRAWNS!! I really don't recommend it.
