17/08/2025: I'm a foodie and I travel to review restaurants and help others eat well. I stumbled upon this place in Trani, down by the port. The dishes are exquisitely prepared and the fish is incredibly fresh (unlike others that use frozen fish). The owner is a wonderful person and very helpful, even when it comes to recommending dishes and wines. The staff is polite and very helpful. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be back.

16/08/2025: Excellent food, impeccably fresh raw seafood. If I were to return to Trani, I would definitely return.

02/09/2025: Apparently, you have to be Italian to be served properly. The dishes were tasty after an hour of waiting. The head waiter was obviously overzealous and made us pay for our hesitation when ordering. What a shame such baseness in such a magnificent setting.

22/08/2025: The best pizza in Puglia!! 🤩 We tried the Diavola and the Romagnola, and both were incredible. Fast and very friendly service! 100% recommended.

20/08/2025: Gentlemen, at Pepedoro you can eat the best pizza in Salento. Highly digestible and with quality ingredients. I had a Margherita 2.0 that took me back to my high school days in the province of Naples. Highly recommended.

02/09/2025: A maximum of two different types of pasta can be ordered at one table! There were four of us, and we were still only allowed to choose two types. The prices are quite high. The food was quite average. The restaurant is very clean, but overall it wasn't worth it at all.

26/06/2025: A real surprise from Paolo e F.lli in Acquaviva! I tried the stuffed panzerotto, truly spectacular: crunchy on the outside, stringy and tasty on the inside, prepared with care and quality ingredients. The white pizza with buffalo mozzarella and raw ham alla caprese was an explosion of freshness and taste: light and well-cooked base, creamy buffalo mozzarella, sweet raw ham and perfect cherry tomatoes. Balanced, tasty, simply delicious. And to finish, a fragrant and well-seasoned arancino: tasty but not heavy, one of the best I've ever tried in the area. Fast and friendly service, fair prices. A must-see for those who love street food made with heart and quality.

16/08/2025: An unknown place....after asking around I was a bit incredulous...then I got the confirmation I was looking for on a particular day....the August bank holiday....where many places take advantage of the fixed menu...often with poor quality products just to make a profit....this place is highly recommended for all types of occasions

17/07/2025: Great restaurant. Impeccable service, very kind, very smiling, attentive servers. Excellent food, the terrace is very pleasant, surrounded by beautiful flowering trees. Go there with your eyes closed.

31/08/2025: We had dinner here with reservations (recommended). A very nice place, with very friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food and unbeatable value: we thought we'd spend even more! The mixed grill was delicious and plentiful: definitely worth a try!

21/08/2025: We ordered a puccia and a pizza to go. The ingredients were excellent and the prices were reasonable, though not always the same for the perfect quality of the ingredients. This place is definitely recommended, especially if you're a tourist and want to feel truly at home. We were greeted with smiles and had a pleasant chat with the pizza chef, who, in addition to preparing excellent products, also offered us some truly delicious samples. This is definitely a place to return to.

26/05/2025: This restaurant was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. We had some pizzas and the cuttlefish which were all excellent. The quality and value were very good.

12/05/2025: The food was spectacular, fresh, tasty and more than reasonably priced. The starter and pasta portions were very generous, the Tagliata (steak) was very tender and juicy. The pizzas are also delicious.

17/08/2025: We had dinner on the night of Ferragosto. We were very satisfied. The staff was very kind and offered excellent recommendations. The menu changes daily, even between lunch and dinner, and although it's written in dialect, the waiters explain it calmly and word for word. We ordered the zucchini flowers, and asked for them without the anchovies because my fiancée is vegetarian. They had no problem accommodating our request as they are prepared fresh. The fava bean purée and the artisanal sagne 'ncannulate with horse meat sauce were also excellent. The desserts were sublime; we had a mandarin sorbet and a dark chocolate and orange spumone, both absolutely delicious. We also enjoyed the house red wine. The staff and the owner were kind and courteous. The prices are fair. They were also extremely kind when we stopped by the next morning to pick up the city guide we'd forgotten. They showed up at the restaurant early in the morning specifically to return it to us.

01/08/2025: Excellent traditional Salento cuisine, friendly staff, and a spotlessly clean place. Perhaps one of the few places in Lecce with sparkling bathrooms. Highly recommended! Oh, and you can also listen to great music (REM, Dire Straits, etc.)!

07/09/2025: It was our first evening in Barletta and we chose to dine here: it was a truly memorable experience. Even though we were seated inside with our dog, we were greeted with great kindness and friendliness by the entire staff. Over the next few days, we tried other restaurants, both in Barletta and in other cities in Puglia, but nothing was up to par. We even returned for dinner again, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to a bereavement (our sincere condolences). I still wanted to write this review to let you know that you are truly amazing; keep up the good work!

06/09/2025: We went for lunch on a Saturday, and the restaurant was fully booked. Reservations are recommended. The quality/price ratio was good, and the portions were a pleasant surprise. I would have served the raw ham a little colder, perhaps adding a bit of ice, and the peppered ham was a little too salty, but we liked it that way. In short, 1 raw seafood dish + 1 peppered ham + 1 fantastic sea urchin dish + 2 seafood first courses + 1 fried fish dish, and a bottle of wine with sorbet and coffee came to €60 per person. A very fair price, in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. WELL DONE!
