19/10/2025: We stayed at this hotel for two weeks, and what can I say? "Everything was perfect." We thank Cosimo, Valentina, and the entire staff for their professionalism and courtesy. Thanks to chef Mimmo, who pampered us with his dishes. A special thanks to maître d', Angelo, who attentively attended to our needs with great professionalism, making us feel at ease. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and linens were changed daily. We hope to see you again soon for another stay.

27/12/2025: Everything was very good! From the service to the food. Minimal wait. I had pizza and my wife had baked sea bass, both delicious! We had a portion of fries with caciocavallo fondue while we waited, and they were delicious, although I would have preferred more caciocavallo. Upon arrival, they also gave us an entrée of stale bread with oil, oregano, and garlic, all delicious!

07/01/2026: This happened on the night of the New Year's Eve dinner. This isn't a review of the food, but of the owner's behavior, so I'd be interested to hear your opinion on the facts. My wife and I arrived early at the restaurant and immediately informed them that, for health reasons, my wife would only have one plate of plain rice with oil and lemon for the entire evening. Unfortunately, we had to leave at 11:30 PM. I'd only had time for dessert, so no cotechino and lentils, and no midnight toast. We went to pay, and the bill was €110 (the price of the dinner) for me and €80 for my wife. "I think €80 for plain rice is a bit expensive," and the response was, "Let's make it €70." So I paid €180. We said our goodbyes, and I expected at least a bottle of sparkling wine for the midnight toast, but nothing. Was the price we paid fair given the situation that had arisen?

01/03/2026: I ate with friends! The place is small but the tables are well-spaced. The waiters are friendly. The food is good and reasonably priced.

14/02/2026: I visited this restaurant on Valentine's Day, my first time there with my partner, and I must say we were pleasantly surprised. As soon as you enter, you immediately sense the care and attention dedicated to the restaurant: the setting is elegant, well-designed, and every detail appears meticulously considered, contributing to a welcoming and refined atmosphere. The quality of the food was truly excellent. The raw seafood was incredibly fresh and prepared with great care. The first courses were plentiful and very tasty, satisfying in both quality and quantity. Even the homemade bread was truly delicious and much appreciated; it was also carefully brought back whenever the waiter noticed it was running low, a detail that demonstrates the care they give to their customers. The desserts, strictly homemade, were also exquisite and rounded off the dinner perfectly. Overall, it was an extremely positive experience, and we will definitely be back. The only small negative is the proximity of the tables, which at times slightly reduces privacy.

20/02/2026: It's a typical restaurant in Gravina, popular with locals, so the food is excellent! We went on a Saturday at lunchtime and were given a table where we were a bit cramped. It's very noisy, but the place is huge and crowded! The service wasn't very friendly. Dogs are allowed.

17/12/2025: Lunch here was a regular stop when we were in the area on weekdays (since on holidays you have to book well in advance). Unfortunately, yesterday it didn't go very well... (Did the chef change?) The appetizers were prepared who knows how long ago, even the seafood linguine was nothing like the ones we've had the other times, the grilled vegetables were burnt, the fish was the same story, only the calamari was okay, the shrimp contained sand, the swordfish (Oceanico) tasted old. The black truffle tasted only of ice. And a stomach ache... We were hungry and we gulped down the ceca, we were actually asked at the cashier how it had gone, but to avoid controversy, we paid and left because we didn't want to ruin our day. Obviously we won't be back again.

14/12/2025: The appetizers were okay, but the mussels...sorry, I know a lot about fish...and they were dirty, salty, inedible. The waiters were very unfriendly. The pasta with the lentils was okay, but very salty. In the end, the owner didn't charge for the mussels. But no thanks. There are much better places in Italy to eat fresh fish.

23/02/2026: A simple and authentic place. Well-cooked dishes and authentic flavors. We'll definitely be back.

16/03/2026: For those like me who love home-style cooking and a cozy atmosphere, I highly recommend it. Yesterday, 26 of us had lunch, including 9 children. I must say we all appreciated the high quality of the food. The courtesy of the staff is second to none. I will definitely be back soon.

21/01/2026: This summer I had the opportunity to dine at Ristorante Calvi and the experience was excellent. The quality of the ingredients was top-notch and the service impeccably managed: I was pleasantly surprised, even though I already had moderate to high expectations. Special thanks to the chef for his availability and for taking the time to share tips and quick recipes. A restaurant I would return to without hesitation.

The appetizers even included excellent sushi. The cake was exquisite. They even allowed our little furry friend to come in. The staff was impeccable, always available, courteous, and attentive to our every request. They fulfilled all my wishes and those of our fellow diners. The restaurant was perfectly air-conditioned, with spotless restrooms and plenty of space between tables. The tablecloths were pristine white and the dishes spotlessly clean. No need to worry about leaving; I'll be back many times because Donato and his staff NEVER disappoint. Amazing price!

16/09/2025: Went to this small Enoteca with my girlfriend a couple of nights ago. We had some great glasses of wine exactly to our taste. We were also served a little platter of snacks, some olives, some nice Tarallini and (my personal highlight) some amazing Provola. The wine, the cheese, amazing. We wish we could have come back again but sadly I can only recommend this place for others. Also very fair prices.
