02/09/2025: Super delicious food Order the antipasti terra-mare (currently €20 per person) and you'll be overwhelmed and full! The other dishes (a wide selection of pasta, fresh fish, and meat) won't disappoint either. The chef is on top of things, and her husband serves like a world champion. Bombastic value for money! Part of my "small but perfectly formed" series! Reservations recommended! In summer, definitely sit outside, as the tables overlook the beautiful promenade. It's nice inside. Unfortunately, my battery died shortly after arriving, so I could ONLY enjoy the food and not capture anything. I was allowed to charge my phone while eating; they even provided charging cables 🤩

28/08/2025: There were 8 of us and we ate very well. The restaurant had a sea view. Both the fish/meat appetizers and the pizza were very good. The staff were very friendly. They also catered to any food intolerances. Highly recommended!

27/08/2025: Fried anchovies👌🏼The pizzas were also very good👍🏼Pizza Dorata: really good mozzarella and Parmesan, nicely seasoned and full of flavor! The Salentino is fantastic: eggplant, onions, and the olives are amazing🫒🤤 dough🔝very friendly and plenty of staff, not pushy, but always there to help!

19/08/2025: A legendary Foggia restaurant institution known throughout the city and even the province. We dined there on a Sunday evening in the restaurant's pleasant outdoor area. The excellent Emanuele, a lively and well-mannered young man, served us. We didn't order pizza, but rather two appetizers and two main courses. Both appetizers were excellent: peppered mussels with fava beans and chicory (although my opinion of the fava beans and chicory is biased by the fact that, not being from Foggia, I've only tried it two or three times). Next up was pancotto and pasta with pumpkin seeds, which were good but not exceptional. Babà with zabaglione cream and sour cherries was ATOMIC. To finish the meal, we ordered a limoncello that was advertised as homemade, but I wouldn't have sworn it was delicious; in fact, we didn't finish it. We ordered glasses of wine by the glass, excellent quality/quantity/price ratio. Basically, a place that doesn't need a review here or anywhere else; just go.

31/08/2025: Most tourists go outside the terrace to eat. But I think the best place to eat is inside the restaurant especially during a hot summer day. In addition, inside the restaurant you're surrounded with Leccese architecture, like the vaulted ceiling and Leccese Stone walls. The furniture are nice and the display of wine is amazing.

07/09/2025: I must have been unlucky, but I didn't find all the excellence of this place. Fried Salento dishes were tasteless and soaked in oil, the house wine was warm, the spaghetti with almost seafood was unpresentable, floating in a green broth (I would have sent them back, but my husband didn't want it), the fresh pasta with passable sheep's milk sauce was overcooked. The heat was stifling; what can I say? It's been a while since I've had such a bad experience.

06/09/2025: In a historic village, a highly respected restaurant. High quality and local specialties. Spacious dining room with a terrace overlooking the valley. Prices match the quality.

05/07/2025: "If you remain silent while eating, it means it's good" Modern place, well-kept and clean environments. Alessandro and all his staff are formidable. The menu offers local products and very fresh fish. Good wine list. Original and expertly studied combinations. We appreciated the purple shrimp tartare with its sauces, the burrata, the fresh pasta filled with grouper and roasted cherry tomatoes, then arriving at the grilled shrimp and scampi, finishing with a decidedly sublime chocolate, rum and orange dessert. 23/08/2025: I celebrated my birthday at Grotta Ardito and we were pleasantly surprised by how the dinner for 30 people was handled. The staff was impeccable, super attentive to my guests' various requests...not to mention the quality and quantity of the food. We received compliments from all the guests. Thank you!

15/08/2025: The restaurant has the most incredible view and sunset while you dine on the entire coast. The food is fresh and delicious, the tiramisu is delicious, the quality and price are very good, and the service is excellent.

25/08/2025: My family and I decided to have dinner one evening. Ridiculous portions...a paltry grilled meat and ridiculous side dishes (two tiny slices of zucchini and two of eggplant). Very mediocre for a total of €64 for 4 people. Avoid, go elsewhere.

19/08/2025: Terrible experience. Ordered 1 mixed roast (very poor), 1 roasted bombette (raw), 1 mixed appetizer in mini pebbles, 1 first course (5 gnocchi), and grilled Erudire (five mini zucchini slices and three eggplant slices). The quality/price ratio was absolutely inadequate. Avoid.

13/08/2025: I'm a longtime customer of the Bella Vita bar, and I only get gelato there; I don't get it anywhere else. Their gelato uses quality ingredients, is always fresh, and I shouldn't be surprised to hear that, because I once had to go to another place and be served stale gelato. Bella Vita doesn't skimp on the quantity, trying to please the customer, while elsewhere they try to serve less gelato to save on the snack flavor. They also have lovely cakes, cheesecakes, pastries, delicious croissants, and good coffee. I recommend it.

07/08/2025: I visited this bar one summer evening and can share my positive experience. The bar has a few tables inside. You can enjoy both coffee and gelato. I opted for gelato, and I can say that the flavors were excellent. All at affordable prices. I'll be back as soon as I can.

22/08/2025: Indescribable slowness, they don't even know what they're doing, terrible management, absurd levels of rudeness. Every year I go there, I notice it getting worse rather than better. PS: Reply to the owner's comment. Every year we come back because you're the only thing open within 1km of the free cove next door. I would never spend a single euro on your beach. Unfortunately, sometimes we end up having a coffee in company, reluctant to risk anything by crossing the threshold. The order of the day is someone who feels ill from the heat. You are the rude ones, so rude that when they called to ask if you still make pizzas, you said you still do, then, five minutes later, when we arrived, you said "we don't make them anymore," just to make you realize how disorganized your restaurant is. If you've earned €5 in your entire life from my pocket, that's a lot. The only nice thing is the water games, easily accessible by swimming without paying anything to you :) Kisses 😘
