A light but delicious meal, a sweet treat to accompany an espresso, and then we headed back for a stroll. We walked past this restaurant the first time without noticing it; go without hesitation.

The cuisine is of very high quality, the portions are wonderfully balanced – just right to round off the evening with a delicious dessert. The service is attentive and warm, and the value for money is excellent. A clear recommendation for anyone who appreciates atmosphere and culinary delights.

26/01/2026: We went to Il Finile restaurant on New Year's Eve. The place is very beautiful and well-kept, which is precisely what made the experience even more disappointing. We had a reservation for 9:00 PM and arrived about 15 minutes late. Once seated, however, our order was taken very slowly, and the appetizers arrived an hour later, despite the restaurant not having many tables and not being particularly busy. One of the appetizers, a very large octopus tentacle, was incredibly tough and completely inedible, impossible even to chew. We sent it back, but instead of receiving an apology, the waitress seemed annoyed, attributing the slow service to our 15-minute delay and insinuating that we were being too picky, when the dish was objectively inedible. The service then deteriorated further: we were told, "I'll bring you your dishes now and then I'll bring you the bill," in a tone that clearly implied we needed to leave quickly. Considering it was New Year's Eve and we wanted to go out to celebrate, the situation was particularly unpleasant: a few minutes before midnight, we were still at the appetizers. The fish-based first courses were a huge disappointment: tasteless, flavorless, with the distinct impression of not-so-fresh fish. The desserts didn't improve the experience: the crème brûlée was practically a soup, overly sweet, and tasted like it was made in advance or frozen. Even the Sicilian cassata had completely tasteless ricotta. In conclusion, a real shame: the place has great potential, but between the slow service, disappointing dishes, and the unprofessional attitude of the staff, the experience was overall negative. New Year's Eve ruined: we won't be returning.

17/01/2026: The evening begins like this... I call and make a reservation for 9:30 PM for 4 people. They tell me over the phone that the wait is 5 minutes, which is just enough time for the table to be free. I arrive promptly and they tell me to wait 10 minutes. At 10:17 PM, I ask how much longer and they tell me to wait until the table is free since they had asked for the bill. After a long (and unwanted) wait, we manage to sit down at 10:23 PM. The place is nice, with seating near the sea. We order at 10:46 PM. The dishes arrive at 10:52 PM. Very fast service. Excellent sushi and excellent mixed seafood appetizer. We ordered a bottle of Chardonnay "Lama di Pietra" white wine, which was delicious, served in the right way and left in the seau à glace (which is not a given). The first courses arrive later: paccheri with monkfish and sagne with almonds, cherry tomatoes, and cod. A few pieces of monkfish were not... Skinless but not bothersome The first courses are also excellent The quantity of fish in the first courses was higher than expected, and therefore generous with the seasoning I would have added a few more paccheri Next came the fried foods The anelletti and shrimp were good For the mixed seafood, most of them were good Just a few were full of bones and difficult to remove We close with the sweet and sour dishes The sweet and sour dishes were good, and the amaro del capo was served chilled in a chilled glass. All in all, the place wasn't bad. The food was good, the price was fair, the service was fast but "cold" (not a bad thing, each waiter decides how to treat the customer), and the bill was reasonable, with bitters offered after checking the order. 4 stars because there's always room for improvement. Keep it up!

19/02/2026: I had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant. The food was terrible and not presented very nicely. I ordered pasta and salad and both were terrible. You can feel the attention to detail. The staff was unfriendly. I will definitely not be returning and will not recommend this restaurant.

06/01/2026: I'm still at the table, and this is the first time I've had the urge to immediately review this lunch. Excellent dishes, incredibly tasty and meticulously prepared. Great attention was paid to a vegetarian who really enjoyed the specially prepared menu. The service was welcoming, punctual, and very friendly. I'm so happy!

25/06/2025: Un locale stupendo, abbiamo mangiato all’esterno all’interno del cortile in un ambiente romantico e molto rilassante . Il menù offriva l’imbarazzo della scelta ma non potendo mangiare tutto 🤣 abbiamo optato per l’antipasto misto Casa Martino e due primi , Orecchietta Arrapata e "Minchiareddhro" del Marinaio. Buonissimo , ne siamo rimasta davvero contenti . In ragazzi in sala carini , gentili e molto disponibili .

11/01/2026: We had dinner in the evening at this beachfront spot. The atmosphere is lovely, but it's definitely more charming during the day with a beautiful sea view. The menu features seafood and pizza. We ordered a few appetizers, including fried sardines, and then opted for a seafood risotto, which was quite flavorful and a generous portion. The pizzas were very good, with excellent dough. The desserts were beautifully presented, including the cheesecake, which was delicious. It's a shame the crème brûlée was so cold, as it should usually be warm. Friendly staff.

08/02/2026: On Sunday evening, craving pizza, we were advised to book at the Peucezia pizzeria restaurant. Excellent selection, excellent service, and a warm welcome from a father and son. The paintings by Ciro Lupo on the walls are beautiful. The atmosphere is neat and clean, and you feel right at home; everyone is very friendly and cheerful. We'll be back to try the pasta and fish dishes. Excellent quality and prices.
