Le Rondini - pizzeria con cucina In Torino

Hello, it's (admittedly) not a gourmet restaurant. Nevertheless, it's OUR go-to place when we're in Turin! Good... Welcoming... The owner even gave us advice on making his pizza dough: type of flour, kneading, etc. Of course, geographically, we can't compete with him. But try other restaurants... And for the "picky" ones who criticize... You'll have to tell me what they eat at home... 😉 You get the picture: I LOVE IT! BUT THAT WAS 3 YEARS AGO... Yesterday, May 9th, 2026, the pizza chef retired, the waiter became a pizza chef, and there was a new waitress... The result: over an hour's wait, a downgraded menu, and undercooked mussels. It was our sixth time here; if the first time had been like that, we would never have come back. I don't know if I'll give it another chance... In any case, not by inviting family or friends... We'll see...

Located in the heart of the city, it was a place I always enjoyed going to when it was run by Mr. Enzo, unfortunately something has changed now. But I recommend it.

A few more degrees wouldn't hurt. It was decidedly cold.
