12/10/2025: Located in the historic center of Avigliana, it presents itself as a fairly traditional trattoria, although the owner has chosen some original dishes and, especially, wines. Especially for the latter, there isn't a proper wine list, but bottles purchased during the owners' personal travels are available, not just any ancestral digressions. The food is good, as is the service. The price is quite high for 3.5 courses and a shared bottle.

10/10/2025: Honestly amazing. We stumbled upon this little place by chance, during a stop in Avigliana. What can I say?! The best fried porcini mushrooms I've ever had. The mushrooms were delicious, and so was the breading. The mushroom risotto was also truly delicious. Highly recommended.

09/10/2025: Indigestible pizza!!! I have to agree with whoever wrote that the pizza is truly awful, not so much because of the toppings, which are all in all passable, but because of the lack of leavening... anyway, a terrible experience! I will never go back... highly not recommended.

21/05/2025: I really feel like recommending this optician for his extraordinary availability and professionalism. I have very high myopia and finding a professional who knows how to deal with this type of need with competence is not always easy. In this case, however, I was followed with great attention from the very first moment. I was made glasses with Tokai 1.76 Biasferiche Lutina fine edge Super USC lenses, a very high level both in technical and aesthetic terms. Despite my significant visual defect, the lenses are incredibly thin, light and elegant in appearance, and the final result went far beyond my expectations. The doctor was able to advise me with great care and patience, answering all my questions and guiding me in the best choice for my needs. His technical expertise, combined with sincere kindness, really make the difference. Thanks again for the excellent service!

05/10/2025: Super attentive service, fantastic food, fresh porcini mushrooms with pasta, polenta, and risotto. Very tasty. It wasn't on the menu.

07/09/2025: We went to eat today with my partner. He had paccheri allo scoglio, the pasta was raw. He had mussels alla diavola, they weren't all that great. I had the chiacchiere, which was really good, and the mussels with pepper. The mussels had no flavor. One fell into my mouth and I spat it out into a napkin. It tasted like sewage. The sauce tasted like nothing. My partner then tasted the sauce from my mussels. He ate a couple of mussels that were still on my plate. We got home and he was sick all day. He threw up his soul between the raw pasta and the mussels, which weren't good. I had a stomach ache all day. I don't think we'll go back.... Rating 0, sorry.

07/09/2025: Commitment and passion. Very high customer service. The pizza dough is not rough and hard on the bottom, unlike two-thirds of other pizzerias! This makes it much easier and more pleasant to chew, ideal for sensitive palates. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The restaurant is very clean and aesthetically pleasing.

09/10/2025: Nice room, the only flaw being the double bed with separate beds, so there's a gap between the two beds. Otherwise, the location is excellent, the food is excellent, the breakfast is plentiful, and the owners are helpful and very kind!

25/09/2025: We ate there; it had a nice selection and portions that were large enough to allow for a starter and main course. The meal cost about €30-40 per person, including all courses and drinks.

06/09/2025: The atmosphere of this restaurant is absolutely lovely! The outdoor area is such a hidden gem — I loved, loved, loved the terrace. It’s cosy, charming, and so romantic, especially at night with all the little lights twinkling around. ✨ The staff are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly — truly a pleasure to interact with. I have only positive things to say about the service. The food was very good overall, and the prices are reasonable, especially for the trio menu. If I had to point out one small negative, it would be that the “primi” weren’t quite as appetising as I had hoped. Don’t get me wrong, I had a very nice lunch, but I would have preferred to see a bit more variety in that part of the menu. In my opinion, the à la carte menu is the better choice — the rest of my table ordered from it and seemed more impressed than those of us who went for the trio menu. All in all, it was a wonderful experience, and I will definitely be coming back!

17/05/2025: Bel posticino, il chiosco serve un buon fritto di pesciolino. Il lago ti fa sentire un po' in vacanza. L'unica nota dolente è la musica, un po' troppo invadente per i miei gusti,magari sarebbe meglio provare con qualcosa di più rilassante visto il luogo.

11/05/2025: Il posto è incantevole, ci sono stato tantissime volte. Però ultimamente ho deciso di non andarci più perché fanno parcheggiare le macchine attorno al lago e diventa un posto poco piacevole...via vai di macchine e inquinamento anche acustico in un posto splendido...dovrebbe essere un'isola green dove puoi entrare solo a piedi o con mezzi elettrici...ci lamentiamo tanto dell'inquinamento e poi non facciamo niente per difendere questi pochissimi spazi incantati...anche chi pesca potrebbe entrare a piedi o con mezzi elettrici...come al solito tante parole in nome dell'ecogreen e poi fatti pochi...

14/08/2025: Very disappointed, the food was served like a cafeteria! The meat was swimming in sauce. The tables were way too close together. We dealt with two different waitresses and had to ask for a bottle of water. Very expensive for the quality offered. Restaurant for tourists!!!

18/10/2025: It’s an insanely good place. Right in the heart of Turin. Best Cornetto I’ve ever had and the coffee was sublime. The interior is superb.

18/10/2025: One of Turin's most charming establishments, as well as one of Italy's first cafés. Caffè San Carlo boasts a historic location that every tourist should visit at least once, to immerse themselves in the elegant style that best represents Turin. Regarding the quality of the products, I personally would have expected something more to justify the high price: although both the Carla and the other pastries were very good, I didn't appreciate the strong buttery flavor typical of all the pastries we ordered, nor, at times, the lackluster pastry. The drinks were much better. Overall, a good experience, but I personally don't think it justifies the price.

11/07/2025: Skøn udsigt over landskabet. Vi fik en lækker 6-retters tasting-menu med mange lokale særpræg. Omfattende og flot vinkort. Meget venlig og opmærksom betjening. Vi kommer meget gerne igen :-)

14/06/2025: Consigliatomi dalla proprietaria del Gioco dell'Oca di Barolo, si è rivelato un ottima scelta. Una calda sera di giugno, con un tavolo affacciato sul panorama dei colli al tramonto, ci ha dato una occasione indimenticabile per gustare dei piatti molto buoni e accompagnati dall'ottimo vino bianco tipico di Novello. Il gestore, assieme a tutto lo staff, ha assicurato un servizio perfetto durante tutta la serata. Se devo scegliere un piatto, l'antipasto di fiori di zucca farciti fritti - piatto semplice ma esecuzione spettacolare. Peccato per un avventore che, con un sigaro pestilenziale, ha ammorbato la conclusione del pasto (cestini di sfoglia con chantilly e frutti di bosco.... ottimi): sarebbe ora di vietare questa pratica in toto, almeno in qualsiasi luogo pubblico.

28/10/2025: Well... leftover pieces of breadsticks collected in a bag and served as if they were normal. When I complain, they say it's normal. If I had a restaurant, I'd give the leftover breadsticks to the dog, not the other guests. Oh well, if only the dishes were special, but they aren't.

26/10/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance, looking for something else, but the experience wasn't bad at all. Aside from the Fassona beef with egg and truffle, which unfortunately was decidedly tasteless (even the truffle wasn't great), the rest—gnocchetti with Castelmagno cheese, agnolotti with roast beef sauce, and sliced ​​beef with potatoes—was all excellent, flavorful, and delicious. We ate at the tables overlooking the square, so we didn't see the interior. The service was quick and courteous. The price was quite reasonable.

14/10/2025: We booked for Sunday lunch for four. The menu was good, with a wide selection of meat and especially fish. The ingredients were high-quality, and the dishes were beautifully presented. The wait time was reasonable. The atmosphere was quiet, with no noise to disturb the conversation, and the tables were well-spaced. The quality/price ratio was excellent. If you're in Stresa, this is definitely a place worth checking out.
