23/07/2025: Passing through Dronero, we chose a place somewhat at random. They don't serve pizza for lunch (at least the day we stopped by, which was a Friday), and we couldn't eat inside (the traffic outside isn't the best atmosphere and view...). We had gnocchi with Castelmagno cheese, which were delicious and a generous portion, grilled vegetables, spinach, and a nougat parfait. Overall, the food was good, the welcome was rustic, but it's frequented by regulars.

17/05/2025: Bel posticino, il chiosco serve un buon fritto di pesciolino. Il lago ti fa sentire un po' in vacanza. L'unica nota dolente è la musica, un po' troppo invadente per i miei gusti,magari sarebbe meglio provare con qualcosa di più rilassante visto il luogo.

11/05/2025: Il posto è incantevole, ci sono stato tantissime volte. Però ultimamente ho deciso di non andarci più perché fanno parcheggiare le macchine attorno al lago e diventa un posto poco piacevole...via vai di macchine e inquinamento anche acustico in un posto splendido...dovrebbe essere un'isola green dove puoi entrare solo a piedi o con mezzi elettrici...ci lamentiamo tanto dell'inquinamento e poi non facciamo niente per difendere questi pochissimi spazi incantati...anche chi pesca potrebbe entrare a piedi o con mezzi elettrici...come al solito tante parole in nome dell'ecogreen e poi fatti pochi...

Thinly sliced ​​undercooked pizza and discount store ingredients, half olives, maybe 3 or 4, dry ham, almost no tomato. One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten. Fish soup without soup: a sauce of two shellfish, a few octopus, and two slices of toasted bread doesn't make a soup! Where do you dip bread without soup? Overall, the dishes are beautifully plated but of poor quality. The staff is always attentive and kind to every request, but that's not enough. Inflated prices for an after-dinner treat that leaves you so thirsty. Embarrassing.

18/06/2025: Dinner at Vintage1997 last night: a truly superb experience, made unforgettable by our waiter Michele. With his elegance and charming smile, Michele welcomed us with impeccable professionalism. Always attentive and discreet, he expertly guided us through the menu and wines, demonstrating rare expertise. In addition to his good looks, what is striking is his ability to make the service not only efficient but also pleasantly engaging. Michele transformed our dinner into a special moment. Kudos to Vintage1997 for such an exceptional team! We will be back soon.

18/05/2025: Tonight I had the pleasure of trying this place with my girlfriend, the staff was very kind and helpful, always attentive to everything. The waiting times were a little longer than usual, but it was worth it: the dishes were delicious and you can see that they use fresh and quality ingredients. The price is right, especially considering the location and quality. The cleanliness was also impeccable, everything very tidy and well-kept. Definitely a place I would recommend

14/06/2025: Consigliatomi dalla proprietaria del Gioco dell'Oca di Barolo, si è rivelato un ottima scelta. Una calda sera di giugno, con un tavolo affacciato sul panorama dei colli al tramonto, ci ha dato una occasione indimenticabile per gustare dei piatti molto buoni e accompagnati dall'ottimo vino bianco tipico di Novello. Il gestore, assieme a tutto lo staff, ha assicurato un servizio perfetto durante tutta la serata. Se devo scegliere un piatto, l'antipasto di fiori di zucca farciti fritti - piatto semplice ma esecuzione spettacolare. Peccato per un avventore che, con un sigaro pestilenziale, ha ammorbato la conclusione del pasto (cestini di sfoglia con chantilly e frutti di bosco.... ottimi): sarebbe ora di vietare questa pratica in toto, almeno in qualsiasi luogo pubblico.

01/05/2025: meraviglioso!!!!!! cucina del territorio eccellente, trovato per caso e sembrava pure chiuso… tutto da 10!!!! Abbiamo preso 1 antipasto, 2 primi 1 secondo, 1 dolce, caffè e una bottiglia di nebbiolo. Ogni piatto aveva gusti divini una sorpresa da ripetere!!!

In the previous review, they gave completely random excuses and timings. We won't be returning. Oh, I forgot: at one point, we even received a completely random order.

04/09/2025: Excellent Piedmontese cuisine, with typical appetizers like peppers with bagna cauda, ​​a trio of fresh raw meats, and among the first courses: tajarin with black truffle, excellent! And tagliatelle with fresh porcini mushrooms. The second courses also don't disappoint: sliced ​​Fassona beef with roast potatoes, a trio of carpione with chicken, veal, and vegetables, and finally desserts like chocolate bunet with amaretti biscuits and the classic stuffed peach. The location is typical of a classic trattoria, and the service is punctual and welcoming. The chef was very hospitable, and even earned the compliments of my table. Good Piedmontese cuisine, plentiful, and at the right price? Trattoria Piemontese, you're on the safe side.
