I'm writing a new review, but only to respond to the owner: Dear Owner, Your reply surprises me with its tone and the personal conclusions you draw. I'd just like to clarify a few points, precisely and without fueling misunderstandings. The hair was found as I was about to start the second course, and it was on the edge of the plate, not on the napkin as you claimed: of this I am certain. In the previous review, I clearly stated that I couldn't definitively attribute it to anyone, just to be fair. Denying the evidence of service with loose hair—which was clearly visible—doesn't help clarify matters: it rather gives the impression of wanting to downplay a detail that, for those who work in the restaurant industry, shouldn't be overlooked. After I reported it, my plate was not taken away. After about 10 minutes, the staff noticed that the plate was still intact on the table and asked me if something was wrong. I clearly explained that if I find a single hair, my stomach will knot up and I won't be able to eat. I was asked if I'd like anything else: I reiterated that I didn't. So I wasn't expecting more food, but I also wasn't expecting to pay for the dish anyway, as if the inconvenience didn't exist. I would have, however, expected a modicum of sensitivity: while hair is an objective limitation for me, serving dishes with hair loose and flying just inches from the plate isn't a very prudent choice. In fact, the waitress continued serving in the same manner, without any consideration. You wrote that you gave the discount "for much less," but in the meantime my dish remained on the bill. I never attributed blame to anyone in particular: I reported the facts and the feeling of lack of care. The expressions used in your response ("category of customers," "something's wrong with her," "how sad") say more about your politeness and respect for customers than the episode itself. I also find it inelegant to criticize the fact that a customer is looking for an "experience." In a restaurant, it should be natural: passion for this work is evident in the attention to detail, the care, and the ability to listen to a challenge. If for you, "this job" simply means serving food that's more or less good, perhaps you should reflect on what you really expect from your profession, because your answer clearly shows that passion for this work isn't exactly at the heart of your vision. And if your intention is to limit yourself to the bare minimum, then it would be more appropriate to review the prices as well. Because €65 for two appetizers (three meatballs each, about 2.5–3 cm), two glasses of wine, a bottle of water, a risotto (untouched), a pasta dish, and a coffee would require at least a level of professionalism and attention to detail. Otherwise, the disproportion between what you pay and what you receive becomes evident. I wrote this review not to attack anyone, but to share an experience as I lived it. Your response, in tone and content, unfortunately confirms that the problem wasn't just the hair, but above all the way you chose to handle the situation and the discussion. In conclusion, you wrote that you intend to share my review on the "Memorable Reviews" page. Go ahead, if it makes you feel better! Shifting the discussion to ridicule, rather than facts, only confirms what my experience had already suggested: when arguments are lacking, derision is the only option. It's a choice that speaks for itself and clearly defines maturity and responsibility.

16/11/2025: I dined at a restaurant in Ivrea about two weeks ago with my husband, and unfortunately, it was a terrible experience. I can't even rate the quality of the food, because I wasn't able to eat anything due to a series of shortcomings that made it impossible to enjoy the evening. I should start by saying that when I eat out, I always look for a positive experience. Attention to detail truly makes the difference. Unfortunately, I didn't see any attention to detail at this restaurant. The place is beautiful, but the staff served with their hair loose, flying near the plates. Indeed, I found a hair on the edge of my plate. Now, to be fair, I can't know for sure whether it was the waitress's, mine, or someone else in the kitchen. But the point is that serving with loose hair makes these accidents almost inevitable. What disappointed me even more was that, after I reported the problem, the dish wasn't even taken away, and, in the end, it even appeared on my bill. I didn't even want to write this review; I was reluctant to do so. But last night I dined at a restaurant that gave me an incredible experience, and I noticed that all the waitresses were wearing buns. It was inevitable that I would return to this negative experience and, therefore, decide to write this review. In essence, I don't recommend this restaurant because of its lack of professionalism in basic hygiene matters. A little more attention would really make a difference.

23/08/2025: A perfect dinner. Everything was truly delicious and high-quality, from appetizer to dessert. The hazelnut-crusted sirloin steak deserves special mention: it was exquisite and melted in the mouth. The selection of local cheeses was also very tasty. The service was relaxed and pleasant. The dining room has a stunning view, and if you go at sunset, it's even more worth it.

17/11/2025: They cook like in Naples :) The desserts are amazing. Reservations are required. I recommend it because they are the best pizzeria in Turin.

14/11/2025: A lovely Neapolitan pizzeria, offering delicious fried foods, a wide variety of pizzas, and excellent desserts. Friendly and helpful staff. Good craft beers. Street parking is fairly easy to find.

26/08/2025: What a great restaurant, run by the loveliest family. Outside you enjoy a typical Piedmont view, and inside you sit in a charming old ruin. The family is truly exceptional – wonderful cooking, warm hospitality and great advice on both wine and food. We stayed in the Castello next to the restaurant and were lucky enough to eat here three times. We look back on it with great joy. Grazie!

21/06/2025: È stata una cena squisita sulla terrazza con vista. Siamo partiti da un antipasto leggero di pesce (fettine di spada e tonno) e tortino di melanzane, per passare ai primi dal gusto delicato (gnocchetti e ravioli), a seguire i secondi di carne (brasato e agnello) ma anche il salmone in crosta di sesamo. Abbiamo concluso il tutto con dei desserts ottimi. Il tutto accompagnato da un buonissimo barbera e dalla cortesia e simpatia del proprietario. L'impiattamento molto elegante ci ha permesso di assaporare il cibo dedicandogli il giusto tempo.

09/05/2025: Locale che parla da solo appena ci mettete piede .. ad attendervi c’è la super Simona .. una cameriera bellissima e molto efficiente.. locale curato nei minimi particolari anche il bagno profumato .. mai sentito una cosa del genere .. attesa giusta e poi si parte con dei piatti che non si possono descrivere ma c’è solo da provare .. eravamo in 4 abbiamo preso 4 antipasti e 4 secondi .. dolci 2 vini e acqua .. poi grappe e caffè .. tot. 82,50 a testa .. prezzo onesto per la qualità e il servizio offerto .. simpatica anche la titolare che si è fermata x qualche minuto a parlare con noi … provatelo perchè qua si mangia da dio .. ovviamente accettano carta e fanno fattura..

09/12/2025: I was there last night. Beautiful setting, soft lighting, warm atmosphere. Good selection on the menu and also on the wine list. I opted for veal with tuna sauce as an appetizer, very good and delicate. I continued with a tagliata di Fassona, perfectly cooked and very tender. All accompanied by two excellent glasses of Roero. To finish, a delicious dessert. Very kind and friendly staff. PS: Thanks for the complimentary amaro. Must try if you're passing through Turin. Thanks for the excellent dinner!! Marco

26/10/2025: If you're looking for a reasonably priced pizza restaurant in the heart of Turin, this place is perfect. Pizza is also available for lunch, in three versions: Roman/Neapolitan/cereal. Good, easy to digest, with excellent ingredients. I recommend booking to ensure a seat. We went on a Sunday for lunch, and the restaurant was full, yet the service was impeccable and everything was very organized. Congratulations. It's not my first time here, but it's always a pleasure to return. I recommend it!!!

27/10/2025: The food and wine are certainly excellent. I also appreciated their zero-waste philosophy (at least that's how I interpreted it): they cook just the right amount based on the number of people, so it's best not to ask for "a little extra," and they don't leave bottles of wine at the table, but rather take care of refilling glasses when needed. The only thing to consider: I don't think it's a restaurant suitable for families with small children (2-4 years old), who may struggle to sit still for too long or need to be entertained with toys. It's a place better suited to those seeking a quiet, relaxed dining experience.
