We came because of the many positive reviews, but were rather disappointed. I don't know if the chef is on vacation, but the food was pretty average.

I had dinner in this restaurant, the food is okay but nothing exceptional, the service a little slow, the environment a little cramped, overall it's okay.

Trattoria very close to Piazza Castello. Small but welcoming place, they found us a table for dinner on a Saturday evening even though we didn't have a reservation. Very friendly staff and the truly friendly Calabrian owner. Fast and punctual service despite the place being full. Good and plentiful dishes. Excellent value for money. Recommended for those visiting Torno

Very good food and nice restaurant, however: - waiting too long to take an order and between each dish; - a salmon salad was ordered as a starter and a completely different dish was brought; - we ordered 2 bottles of water which were charged 14€/bottle even though it was not these prices which were indicated on the card...

I will certainly return, a few meters from Palazzo Reale. I had dinner last night with my husband and daughter, abundant dishes and well cooked from starters to desserts. The dishes of the day were especially excellent. I also recommend you try the wine and the bitters of own production. The owner and the boy who served us were kind and friendly. Paid the right price. Congratulations

Si tratta di una trattoria dall’atmosfera tipica italiana, ambiente familiare e cordiale, turistico nell’accezione migliore. La cucina risulta buona e semplice cucina sia nei piatti tradizionali piemontesi, che nelle escursioni sul pesce e sui prodotti stagionali/fuori menù. Noi abbiamo ordinato due piatti fuori menù (tagliolini al nero di seppia con gamberetti e stracciatella (€14) e porcini fritti (€20), oltre al Coniglio alla menta ed olive taggiasche e spinaci saltati, il tutto accompagnato da acqua 1 l, 1/2 litro di vino della bianco casa (dignitoso) per un totale di € 55 (dopo applicazione dello conto The Fork) con limoncello offerto. Il servizio è simpatico, cordiale ed efficiente nonostante l’affollamento, mentre i prezzi sono nella media. Nell’insieme una buona esperienza

06/04/2024: I found myself in this place/club for the first time and I must say that I had an excellent welcome, I immediately felt at ease with both the owner Massimo and Moglia, both originally from Sicily. Being a graduate we waited for all the guests and they offered us a nice glass of Barolo wine while we waited... the food and the menu were very tasty for my palate, from the meat tartare, to the veal with tuna sauce and the platter of cured meats and various cheeses, before moving on to some tasty tortellini and an Irish beef steak done really well, cooked just right and of a unique tenderness. Friendly, courteous and attentive service and a truly extraordinary piano bar, where all the requests of the diners were welcomed... really approachable and very attentive staff. What can I say, I don't know if I will return to this splendid city, but if I do I will certainly return to have dinner or lunch with these wonderful people. Thanks for the evening, Alessandro.

Ristorante Caropepe

14/01/2024: E’ sempre piacevole tornare da Caropepe. Intanto per la professionalità e cortesia della proprietà e di chi lavora in un locale carino e ben tenuto. Poi per una carta che propone ricette diverse della tradizione siciliana, ben realizzate, con buone materie e direi tutte molto buone, dagli antipasti ai dolci. Per chi non lo conoscesse e fosse in dubbio se dedicare o meno una serata alla cucina siciliana in montagna … da conoscere e da provare‼️ Una conferma 👏👏👏
30/12/2023: Quando ormai le nostre vacanze a Bardonecchia sono agli sgoccioli abbiamo provato questo ristorante che, a nostro personale giudizio, è una spanna sopra tutti gli altri provati. Innanzitutto è un ristorante di classe, la tavola è curata e le stoviglie ricercate. I piatti sono principalmente di origine siciliana, così come i vini e le birre. Noi abbiamo preso una lasagna, una parmigiana e uno stinco. Una leggera attesa accompagnata da un piatto di farinata gentilmente offerto e poi i piatti arrivano tutti insieme. Difficile dire quale ci è piaciuto di più. Vista l'ottima esperienza decidiamo di concludere con un tris di cannoli. Un pranzo senza sbavature a dei prezzi eccezionali (in linea con locali molto più alla mano). Ecco l'eccellenza! Bravi!
