Excellent Piedmontese cuisine with a wide selection and quality ingredients. The special menu (for those staying in the hotel above) is convenient, allowing you to choose two main courses and a dessert for a very affordable price. It's a shame that despite the large outdoor area, smoking is not allowed at the tables outside.

We stayed in an adjacent hotel and decided to have a dinner in the Trattoria Moderna. I am glad we did. Fod was excellent, something special. We had two starters (mosaico di porri and bombette di vitello) and two main dishes (guancette di malale and tataki di tonno). Everything was superb. Also wine suggested by a lady serving us paired well with the food. Great staff. Certainly a restaurant to be visited.

A lovely little restaurant in a very quiet area of ​​Ivrea, with ample parking. The restaurant is quite large and well-decorated, and is located in a building that is slated for a hotel. The menu is traditional with a few creative touches. We tried the veal with tuna sauce and the onion tarte tatin as appetizers. Both were delicious; I particularly appreciated the variety of flavors on the tarte tatin. Next, we ordered a very fresh first course with broad beans, asparagus, cherry tomatoes, sheep's milk ricotta, and almonds, and a jujube soup, which I had never tried before and was very impressed! The desserts were also delicious. The service was excellent, with Rebecca and Erica always available to accommodate any request with a smile and make the experience pleasant. We spent about €40 each. Prices are moderately high, but in line with the quality of the service offered. Best wishes to Rebecca and her family for the opening of the hotel!

Located just a few minutes from the highway exit, it stands out for its large window. Once inside, you can't help but notice the contrast between the red walls and the parquet floor lined with tables. This is a place where you eat, and you do it well. Excellent value for money with the two-course menu. The staff is fast, efficient, and friendly. If you're passing through, definitely worth considering.
