Bar restaurant central and close to the castle. At midday from Monday and Saturday, water, cover charge and coffee on the house. Choice between 5 starters, 5 first courses and 5 second courses.

I frequented it when it still hosted the Readers' Club, now at the Castle. I'm not sure if the attraction was the location or the comfort. The toilets were terrible but I have no updated information; the cheap culinary ones, at least for my minimal consumption; I would not go above the three stars, in memory of those times, glorious for me

Splendid location located in the ancient heart of the city of Novara, we found ourselves here at a not so orthodox time to have lunch given that it was already 2/8pm but they welcomed us very kindly and proposed the menu list, well-prepared and truly excellent dishes, recommended for friendliness and price!!

You can eat outside on the terrace in a magnificent setting or inside, for me a little noisy due to the music 🎶

Locale nel pieno centro storico di Novara. Accogliente e con personale gentile. Abbiamo gustato un antipasto con sfoglia di ricotta ed erbette in salsa di pomodoro. Infine tagliatelle fresche ai funghi porcini e zuppa di cavolfiore con formaggio. Locale adatto anche a vegetariani. Buono il rapporto qualità prezzo.

22/03/2024: A great local restaurant with a 2 course set menu lunch for €13. We had pasta followed by delicious fish with orange and a salad. Seating inside and on the terrace.
17/03/2024: Very welcoming place with young, efficient and smiling staff. We really appreciated the fish and vegetable starter, the pizza was excellent with a thin and delicious base, the Neapolitan pastiera was extraordinary. A valid alternative to lunch on the lakefront, here at the club there is plenty of free parking, a beautiful view of the church and the surrounding countryside and lots of tranquility

Cannavacciuolo Cafe & Bistrot

19/03/2024: 09/29/2021. Unique experience, in the afternoon I benefited from a gift and witnessed the creation of some dishes by Chef Manicone, in the evening I booked a table with my family and enjoyed my dinner. Excellent dishes, made with care and attention. Everything excellent!
11/02/2024: Very nice place, open kitchen. Excellent, from aperitifs to dinners, excellent value for money.
