10/04/2025: Splendid place well finished and with a very welcoming atmosphere albeit with a certain elegance. Both the staff and the owner proved to be very kind and extremely helpful even though I had a problem finding parking in the area and was half an hour late. The cuisine was exceptional, with truly exquisite dishes and generous portions, which is why from now on it will be among the fixed destinations of my trips to Milan.

20/03/2025: The first time we came, we had been wanting to come for a few years. Everyone speaks well of it and I confirm that the food is really good. Excellent service, top appetizers, first courses and desserts. Everything cooked on the spot. Really good. It is not cheap but what you spend is right in relation to the location, the service and the quality of the food. Highly recommended!!!

14/05/2025: Today we had lunch at the restaurant of Maurizio. It was the most lovely lunch were you could taste the love in the home made food. We were treated very welcoming and kind. 19/05/2025: Il locale AL CANTUCCIO è grande poco più di un salotto di casa, ha circa 10/12 tavoli, da qui il nome AL CANTUCCIO: quindi il primo consiglio è quello di prenotare per tempo se volete andarvi per cenare. La settimana scorsa (infra settimana è più tranquillo ed è più facile trovare un tavolo per 2/4 persone anche il giorno prima) ci siamo trovati in 2 coppie ed abbiamo trovato posto facilmente. Si trova nel centro di Rho, in Via Garibaldi, 57 a pochi passi dalla Chiesa di San Vittore. Entrando ti accorgi subito che parte della clientela è habitué, altro fattore positivo. I proprietari sono gentilissimi e tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato è risultato di qualità eccellente. Parlando con l’affabile proprietario Davide ci ha riferito che i piatti realizzati prendono spunto dalle basi della cucina Artusi e vengono cambiati mediamente ad ogni stagione. In 4 abbiamo ordinato 2 piatti a testa: Spada Affumicato, Aringa Affumicata ed un Primo di Pasta con pesce, per poi passare ai secondi con Ombrina, Insalata di Polpo, e Coniglio, il tutto innaffiato da 1 Litro e Mezzo di Bianco Mosso della Casa, 4 dessert e caffe. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo, dal mio punto di vista, è risultato ottimo: Euro 37,50 cadauno. L’aspetto importante è che si mangia davvero bene spendendo il giusto (a pranzo tra l’altro promozioni di lavoro, ma rispettando il menù giornaliero a 19 Euro). Davvero una bella serata, presente un parcheggio pubblico a 50 metri, gratuito dopo le 19.00. Vi invito a provarlo se non lo conoscete ancora.

10/05/2025: My mother and I were warmly welcomed, we had prosecco and pizza di Mare, the service was quick. The pizza was absolutely delicious, there was a lot of seafood, shrimp, shrimp, octopus, calamari, mussels and fish. They cleverly put the pizza on two plates without us having to ask :) I would definitely come back.

16/05/2025: The pasta was truly delicious, well-cooked and so flavorful! Being able to choose two types of pasta on one plate is great! The pistachio pesto pasta is definitely a must-try! The spicy olive pasta and the carbonara were very good, but something was missing... One small drawback: the carbonara was a little too salty in some bites.

06/06/2025: Delicious, fresh and seasonal food, with proper service by the owner who has a stake in your meal and experience. Portions not too big, allowing you to enjoy a range of dishes and dessert if you choose, but still quite filling if you have a good appetite. Local-ish wines are available by the half-bottle which is convenient. (We had a tasting choice of the starters (this specific option was not on the menu but offered by the owner), the stuffed ravioli with eggplant, the seared tuna, and the ricotta-cinnamon-orange cake.) No terrace or outdoor eating, but the restaurant has an authentic (not commercial) Italian feel. This is not a touristy kind of place, but the menu has English descriptions below the Italian ones and the owner's English is good enough. Lots of regular locals come here, and the restaurant is featured in the Michelin Guide though their prices are reasonable. Tip: Reserve your meal late in the day or you might find yourself eating alone in the small restaurant which may feel awkward. On a Thursday evening, locals started arriving at 20.00/8pm.

03/06/2025: We had lunch here before catching a bus to the airport at the central station. It’s only about a 5-minute walk. The food was fantastic, the best we had in Milan! The prices are quite reasonable, and the service is excellent. They were so nice to accommodate us as we showed up a bit early. The owner even came out and chatted with us. Highly recommended!

06/05/2025: I went to an Italian cuisine restaurant in the center of Milan, near the “Pasteur” stop. the restaurant offers simple dishes of Italian cuisine, and I think this is more difficult than luxury cuisine. in particular I really appreciated the tiramisu: the alternation between the bitterness of the coffee and cocoa with the softness and sweetness of the mascarpone created an explosion of taste! I would like to go there again!
