03/01/2026: I asked for a coffee and a glass of water, and received a rude and sarcastic response. Terrible service.

01/01/2026: Centrally located, tastefully decorated, friendly staff. The bathrooms are beyond filthy.

12/03/2026: I went in and ordered a cappuccino. I asked the guy serving what croissants he had, and he suggested I get up and see what was available. I got up and ordered a pistachio croissant. I waited over 20 minutes, watching other people's tables being served and cleaned, even though there weren't many people, while my table wasn't being cleaned. One of the guys looked at me and said, "I'm coming," but he never showed up. I wonder why they didn't clean my table and why they didn't serve me, given that people who arrived after me had their tables cleaned and took their orders. It makes me think a lot. I got up from my table and simply thanked them for the bad service... or for the discrimination.

21/10/2025: Food and service were outstanding. Not to mention the stunning view. My husband and I went there for a coffee at first and the staff was so lovely we decided to go back for brunch. After that we went back for dinner. We just couldn't get enough of this place. We had a 3 weeks vacation driving around Italy and our experience at Terraza was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. The dinner we had was comparable to a Michelin star restaurant. Andrea and Nico were lovely and offered impeccable service. Looking forward to my next Lake Como trip.

The service was attentive and friendly, although not entirely worthy of the price paid: considering the quality and cost of the establishment, one would expect impeccable professionalism in every aspect. Overall, a wonderful experience, enhanced especially by the location and the unique atmosphere that only Lake Como can offer.

02/04/2026: A very pleasant surprise. The food was excellent, especially the spaghetti aglio, olio e peperoncino. Pizza diavola was also very tasty. Service was pleasant and efficient. Overall, a great meal, excellent value, and would happily return.

18/10/2025: A definite highlight of our trip to Lake Como. The view is spectacular, even at night! We're a younger American couple and we were treated very kindly by all the staff, so I was surprised to see other reviews stating differently. Marlene, our server, was especially charming and made the evening fun! Our meal was delicious from the beginning with the olive tapenade and the goat cheese+veg app. If you go, absolutely get the tiramasu for dessert - the best I've ever had! We hadn't planned to stop here, but walking in the area is difficult (get a taxi, it's worth it), and in the end I'm so glad we did!
