05/05/2026: This was our second visit – unfortunately, it will probably be our last. Our first visit was positive, but this time we were disappointed. Charging an additional €50 per person for spa access on top of an overnight price of over €200 felt exorbitant. We expected more from a resort of this caliber. Dinner also failed to impress. The Angus burger sounded promising but was a letdown: the meat was coarsely chopped, lumpy, and anything but tender. It simply wasn't worth the price. We were particularly disappointed with how our feedback was handled. We politely informed the staff that the food didn't meet our expectations, but received no real response. No explanation, no alternative, no replacement, no apology. In the end, we were left with a hefty bill and a disappointing experience. In our opinion, the pictures speak for themselves. We'll leave it to the community to decide whether the price and quality are in line. As guests of the resort, we would have appreciated at least a little more attention, goodwill, and appreciation.

02/05/2026: I spent one night at this beautiful property, staying in a Deluxe room. The room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent, with truly high-quality products. We also had dinner at the property's restaurant, and what can I say? Everything was truly top-notch, including the service and friendliness of all the staff. The spa experience was very relaxing and enjoyable, and the outdoor pool on the upper solarium was an added bonus. I highly recommend this experience, and I'll definitely repeat it.

29/04/2026: Business dinner Beautiful classic-style venue (like the adjacent Villa Flori hotel). It's a shame the weather was awful and we couldn't dine outside because their garden is gorgeous with a fantastic view of Como in the light. The menu is varied and interesting. The dishes are very good and the portions are just right (it's not a Gurmet restaurant in terms of quantity). The calamari for two was excellent. The prices aren't cheap, but they're not impossible either... I have to say I really enjoyed it. The service was good and unobtrusive.

18/04/2026: We were so welcomed by the waitress, she was so kind and very respectful. The food was delicious and we enjoyed our meal, the view was so fantastic too. Looking forward to go again sometimes.

05/06/2026: I went for lunch on Friday, June 5, 2026, and chose the daily menu, ordering risotto alla monzese. Unfortunately, the experience was not positive. The sausage in the risotto was practically nonexistent: I found only a small piece. Furthermore, the portion was very small. What left me perplexed was that the customers at the next table, who had ordered the main course containing the same risotto, received at least double the amount I received. Considering that my menu cost €13 and the main course €15.50, such a small price difference doesn't justify such a marked difference in portions. The service also seemed sloppy: all the other tables were served a small plate of focaccia, while ours received nothing. I think both the portion management and customer service should be reviewed. As far as I'm concerned, the quality-price ratio was not satisfactory and I don't think the experience was worth the cost.

31/05/2026: The food quality was OK, the staff was friendly, but the prices were too high. A €17 pizza was something I'd never seen before. Unacceptable.

29/06/2026: A quaint, old-fashioned tavern-style restaurant with a lake view just a few meters away. It's lovely just to sit and admire the lake. Seating is available inside or outside. Typical Larian dishes are served, with spaghetti with missoltini, the restaurant's specialty, taking pride of place. Service is prompt and the staff is incredibly friendly. Everything is delicious, from appetizers to desserts, without exception, and the prices are absolutely fair. Highly recommended if you're looking for a traditional restaurant on the shores of Lake Como.

03/07/2026: The dinner consisted of a seafood salad, four bowls of seafood soup, and just one piece of bread. No water or other drinks were served, and the price was exorbitantly high at €186. After Chef Salah intervened, it was reduced to €160. This price is still excessive, especially considering I was planning to spend four days in the area and sample the food daily. However, I've changed my plans and will return.

25/04/2026: We came for lunch today, the three of us, on the recommendation of a local. We had three excellent pizzas: prosciutto and a calzone, with a thin and delicious crust. Truly excellent, and the service was very pleasant and quick. We returned yesterday evening, Friday: the restaurant was full outside at 7:30 pm, so we had to eat inside. We had three more pizzas, still just as good, but be warned, the music was a bit too loud to allow for a quiet family conversation. A good place nonetheless in Bellagio, where we spent our week's holiday.

26/05/2026: Personally, I was not happy with the experience. I’ll give you the facts and you decide… The menu is not accurate. Consideration 1 - We tried to order Spaghetti con Vongole and shrimp (there was one more item but I don’t remember what it was). Turns out it’s only clams and the waiter said the other items were listed as a mistake. Ok. Consideration 2 - My child does not care for seafood so they offered pasta with butter or Ragu. We ordered ragu. The waiter came back and said they were out of ragu, so we went with the butter. Consideration 3 - The pasta was served dry with a slab of butter on top. We were charged 18 Euros for the pasta and butter. The Spaghetti alla Vongole was only €4 more. Consideration 4 - Once the waiter took our order, he never came back - not once. We went from ordering to paying at the reservation desk. Consideration 5 - my mother told the waiter she was excited about dessert. She never got a chance to see the dessert menu, assuming there is one. I don’t mind paying for an expensive meal, as long as the value coincides. Also, I almost NEVER leave reviews unless I am inspired by a super bad experience or a super good one.

25/05/2026: Overlooks the lake food is good without being great. $$. Atmosphere is great. Depending on where you sit. You can see the lake classic Italian cuisine, the service was friendly.

12/03/2026: I went in and ordered a cappuccino. I asked the guy serving what croissants he had, and he suggested I get up and see what was available. I got up and ordered a pistachio croissant. I waited over 20 minutes, watching other people's tables being served and cleaned, even though there weren't many people, while my table wasn't being cleaned. One of the guys looked at me and said, "I'm coming," but he never showed up. I wonder why they didn't clean my table and why they didn't serve me, given that people who arrived after me had their tables cleaned and took their orders. It makes me think a lot. I got up from my table and simply thanked them for the bad service... or for the discrimination.

06/07/2026: From the outside, this place looks like a typical tourist spot, but it turned out to be a fantastic surprise. The aperitivo was excellent, and the cocktails were delicious. For €15, the aperitivo includes generous platters and roasted potatoes, which made it great value for money. As a vegetarian, I really appreciated that they prepared a separate platter with delicious vegetarian options just for me. The waiter was attentive, friendly, and professional throughout the evening. A wonderful experience—highly recommended!

11/10/2025: We had dinner with our children at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, even to the youngest guests. We truly enjoyed our evening and are very grateful for it!

21/09/2025: We stumbled upon Lido di Sala after wondering around Sala Comacina where we were staying. It's incredibly charming, with covered tables overlooking a scenic cove of water. Luca, our server, was wonderful and personable, and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy, just a well-prepared and very tasty meal. The ossobucco was fabulous, and the vanilla banana liqueur dessert was amazing. Thank you to Luca and staff for a wonderful Sunday dinner!

12/07/2026: A place we love, a typical restaurant, impeccable service. The setting is ideal. The daily special, seafood pasta, was delicious. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

09/07/2026: I had the steak but it wasn't great. It was watery like it was boiled and then seared after. My wife had the beef in oil which was pretty basic and not very flavoursome. Portions were small for both dishes. The waiter (who had body odour) looked disgusted when we said we didn't want water for the table. We had to ask for Oil and balsamic for the bread and they didn't bother bringing the balsamic. Oh, and only gave one of us a side plate. Overall experience was average at best. 75 euro for a poor steak with a tiny amount of vegetables, a few thin slices of beef with a tiny amount of vegetables, a beer and a Coke Zero. Overpriced for the quality and quantity.
