18/05/2026: We had high expectations for La Colombetta, the Tuna Tartare was amazing! However, we were not asked how we would like our filet cooked, and it came basically uncooked. By the time our server came to check on our meal, my wife and I had shared our other entree, and our server was very forceful in that we should’ve asked to have the filet cooked more once it arrived, when it would’ve have been impossible to recreate the dish in the first place, given the sauce. When the bill came, our server exclaimed that our starter, tuna tartare, should have a 20% split charge. Bummed overall by the experience.

13/05/2026: Being vegetarians we booked a table for dining last fall but couldn't cancel it despite enough advance notice. We were advised that it was clearly mentioned on the restaurant website that the 50 Euro deposit (pp) was nonrefundable in the event of cancellation (this should have set off alarm bells) but can only be used for a later visit. Anyway, we moved our reservation to a visit this spring. We were told in advance that we will have vegetarian options available. Unfortunately, both entrees that we ordered (Tagliolini with black truffle and Asparagus gratin and eggs with black truffles) were anything but extraordinary. The Asparagus gratin literally consisted of some shaved truffles and half fried egg laid over some asparagus shoots. So much for gourmet food. The staff was extraordinary in their service but food quality was no where close to the high praise that we had come across in the reviews. Interestingly, we were the only diners in the whole restaurant for a good 2 hours we were there that night!

18/05/2026: The worst service we've had in Italy thus far. It's a shame, cause the pizza we had was ok. Not the best, not the worst. But wow, the service.. first, we got seated at a table all the way in the back, close to the kitchen, where the kitchen doors were banging every 10 seconds - this would have not been an issue if it was the only table available - but there were so many that were free (and not reserved either!). I asked if we could move, one lady reluctantly accepted. Then we asked for a plate for our daughter so that we could share food with her, they forgot, had to remind them. The worst moment came when a lady came to get a place on which we still had food. I got the fork to eat it and she said something I didn't understand while looking very fed up. Then she came again and this time she got my husband's plate, who was still eating and had a slice of pizza in his hand!! No asking, no putting it back when seeing that he was still wating. So incredibly rude. This place is a disservice to all the wonderful service we've had in all other Italian restaurants.

11/05/2026: Anyone who gives this restaurant a bad review is because they don't know what to order and end up paying a lot for dishes that aren't typical of the lake. We shared an appetizer with excellent lake fish, ordered a risotto with Persian fish and another typical fish with butter and sage, a nice bottle of white wine (Pinot Grigio) from Lombardy, and our dinner was wonderful. I've lived in Italy for 13 years, I know that restaurants on Lake Como are expensive, but this one was worth every penny.

23/05/2026: Exceptional Lunch in Como! ​We had a fantastic lunch at Ristorante Imbarcadero 1892. The atmosphere was lovely, but the food was the absolute highlight of our meal. ​We tried the Pasta No. 12 with saffron and zucchini sauce, which was incredibly flavorful and perfectly balanced. I personally had the Spinach Ravioli, and it was simply outstanding—fresh, delicate, and cooked to perfection. ​Everything was "finger-licking good"! If you are looking for authentic flavors and high-quality dishes for a midday break in Como, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommended!

01/05/2026: We stopped for lunch for two, looking for a quick meal. The prices are average for the area, but unfortunately, they reflect the rather low quality of the products. We ordered lasagna, which was mediocre, and spaghetti with seafood, which was decidedly inedible. The dish was overpowered by an excessive amount of garlic, so much so that it masked every other flavor and even the smell in the area around us. This choice suggests it was intended to mask the poor quality of the fish, which was extremely rubbery, almost like chewing gum. The coffee also made the experience even more disappointing: very watered down and with virtually no flavor, other than the hint of sugar. It must be said, however, that the service was very good: the staff was quick to seat customers, take orders, and serve the dishes. The only flaw was the constant shuffling around checking on tables to collect dishes, which at times was a bit uncomfortable and gave the feeling of being "pushed" to finish quickly. Overall, a disappointing food experience, and we wouldn't recommend it, despite the efficient service.

21/05/2026: Incredible day at the beach club. Ferry ride from Bellagio, beautiful walk, great service, and the kids had a blast!

05/05/2026: Beautiful beach club on Lake Como divided in sections to suit various clientele. I was in the adult only section. The infinity pool adds a lot to the experience. Salvatore does an incredible job making sure the place runs smoothly. Grazie Mille

04/06/2026: We had a pleasant lunch as a family with two kids Meals were good and big portions for the price. The waiters were very welcoming. Also good location if you are visiting the main attractions of Lenno.

09/11/2025: The hotel was truly fantastic! The food was also good. Beautiful, green surroundings and the best coral reef in Sharm El-Sheikh. However, the bed, especially the mattress and pillows, unfortunately did not quite live up to the hotel's standard.

06/12/2025: I stopped for breakfast: excellent. I saw they also offer many services like car tax payment, etc. Plus, they also have an Amazon mailbox.

07/04/2026: First experience at the "Il Gatto Nero" restaurant; fresh, refined food, and generous portions. The restaurant is clean, and the staff is friendly, polite, and available to answer any questions. We had lunch on the terrace, with a breathtaking view of Lake Como. Parking is available nearby, but not very large. The restaurant is also suitable for families with children. Recommended.

24/05/2026: Unfortunately, that was the worst cheese platter I've ever seen. The cheese was truly awful, and the service was even worse. It took over 15 minutes to order, and we waited almost 25 minutes to pay. The only good thing was the ambiance.

27/03/2026: The perfect place for a quality aperitif with branded wines or selected from a list of excellent Italian wines. It's also an excellent location for a business lunch or a dinner with friends, with excellently prepared hot dishes paired with wines from the wine list. All this in a convivial and fun atmosphere, enhanced by the helpful and attentive staff.

24/03/2026: I've been here a couple of times in the morning for breakfast and it felt right at home... Giulio is super nice and great at handling even the most annoying customers! Even though it's small, the place is really cute and clean, with so many different types of pastries. It's a shame I live so far from this place... anyway, I'll definitely be back. I really found myself in a very welcoming place and I even had a lot of laughs, which doesn't happen very often in the bars I've been to lately!!! Giulio's partner is also great, she's frank and direct! 👏👏👏
