06/10/2025: It's a magical place! Not to be missed. The restaurant is excellent and the service wonderful. Without a doubt, my favorite place to stay on the lake!

06/10/2025: I had an amazing stay - everything exceeded my expectations. The breakfast was outstanding — honestly the best I’ve ever had in Italy! The selection was excellent, freshly pressed juices, locally sourced butter and eggs, and even a great variety of breads. The hotel’s location is perfect, almost directly on the lake, and the restaurant sits right by the water, serving delicious meals. I didn’t even feel the need to try other restaurants in the area. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel offers free sun loungers for guests as well as SUP boards and kayaks, which was a wonderful bonus. I would love to come back!

07/09/2025: They advertise on their website that they offer take away pizza, and when we went to order in person, we got told no. The waiter was rude and dismissive. You shouldn't advertise something you don't offer.

19/09/2025: Really great hotel!!! Absolutely stunning view. Parking for your exotic car. Price is really a good value for the location, service and amenities. Really good breakfast with bonus best cappuccino we had in the region. Also nice selection of beers and wines. Restaurant is really good and refined. Hint, there is a hidden lounge area with a swim in the lake pontoon we found too late. Really nice service. Restaurant is really good and there's a nearby gem of restaurant too (not many though). But the walk in the nearest town is full of surprises and cozy little streets and shops. The cons: the rooms were nice but not sound proof and the place can be loud when you want a nap in the afternoon. One of the bathrooms we had was really tight and closet like. However that room was really nicely decorated including the walls, roof and corners of the room with a superb view of the lake. Tip: try to get the room next door with the balcony!

19/09/2025: What an amazing location but an opportunity missed completely. Staff are probably the least friendly Italians I’ve ever met. So miserable borderline rude. Hotel is tired and begging for refurbishment - not value for money at current rates for what was provided- a real shame.

18/09/2025: I specifically made a reservation for 7:30PM - which is when the restaurant opens and I arrived at that time. I requested a table with a waterfront view on my online reservation. When I arrived the hostess with the black teeth did not accommodate my request. I drove all the way from Milan as well. I would not come here again. I've been to nicer restaurants on the water in Como and had no issues.

02/05/2025: Poche note perché di più non serve. Ristarante elegante sul lungolago. Cibo molto buono e presentato benissimo. Spettacolare il polpo su crema di zucca. Buona scelta di vini al calice. Il nostro era molto buono. Servizio attento ed anche una piccola svista si è trasformata in una occasione per fare una battuta divertente. Prezzi medi come si conviene ad un posto di qualità. Da consigliare.

05/10/2025: We had dinner at Storico, and it was a truly positive experience. We enjoyed excellent dishes, prepared with top-quality ingredients and raw materials. The appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts were delicious and original, a sensory journey for the palate. All this was complemented by excellent and prompt service, coordinated by the helpful and welcoming owners and the kind and attentive waitresses. This restaurant is definitely worth a try.

08/08/2025: overpriced! especially the raw seafood platter. service was nothing close to GOOD, we even had to do our own wine and drinks service. avoid this place as there are many nice restaurants nearby

20/09/2025: The place, formerly Riva caffè has interiors that remind the wood Riva boats and nice tables outside. The best food in town, also when other place are close. Pizza has a special shape, remembering a boat. Service top, always fast.

16/09/2025: Very bad service, it is obvious that everything is designed for tourists who will never come back here. The owner or manager hardly speaks English, did not respond to complaints.

01/09/2025: Pros: - Beautiful location near the lake - House wine (white and red) is OK Cons: - Small portions (gnocchi, Greca salad) - Pizza is OK, but better at Pronto Pizza etc. - Ordering process is sloppy (sometimes they brought something different than what was ordered)

26/08/2025: The Argegno Hotel is charming, has a fantastic location, and offers excellent service. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, and everything is very clean. The balcony overlooking the lake is very pleasant. The breakfast is plentiful and well-prepared. The restaurant also offers excellent cuisine. I would highly recommend the friendly and helpful staff. 10/10, absolutely recommended.

18/09/2025: A great place to relax. The beach has lovely pools and the option to swim in the lake. Towels and water are included in the price, which makes things even easier. The service is top-notch – polite, helpful, and always smiling. Plus, there's a stunning view and comfortable loungers.
