18/11/2025: A place where you feel great, a real Italian restaurant. The prices are ok (12 euros for a pizza, 15 euros for pasta, 6 euros for a beer). What I don't like is that you are charged 3 euros per person for sitting at the table.

I go almost every day during my lunch break and I really enjoy it, both for the staff (always very kind and competent, with a smile on their faces) and for the delicious and varied food. They make me feel at home, which is just what you need when you're away from work. Kudos to the entire staff!

08/12/2025: Cozy bistro with a wide choice of wines and typical regional dishes, fairly priced and with kind, attentive staff. Due to its popularity and small size, it is better to book, especially on weekends.

29/11/2025: We were greeted with kindness and helpfulness, despite arriving before opening time. The cold outside was immediately offset by the warmth and comfort of an unforgettable pork shank with polenta, top-quality cured meats, and a first course featuring a trio of meats in ragù. We drank a bottle of Nebbiolo and spent €100, including the much-appreciated discount. The setting is exquisite, with over 1,700 (I think) wine labels serving as a splendid accompaniment. 5 stars, thanks and goodbye.

09/11/2025: The hotel was truly fantastic! The food was also good. Beautiful, green surroundings and the best coral reef in Sharm El-Sheikh. However, the bed, especially the mattress and pillows, unfortunately did not quite live up to the hotel's standard.

18/06/2025: I had the pleasure of photographing a couple at Grand Hotel Imperiale, and the experience was fantastic. The hotel offers a perfect mix of elegance and classic Lake Como charm. Beautiful lake views, stylish interiors, and a peaceful atmosphere make it an ideal setting for wedding photography. Would happily return anytime.

02/05/2025: Poche note perché di più non serve. Ristarante elegante sul lungolago. Cibo molto buono e presentato benissimo. Spettacolare il polpo su crema di zucca. Buona scelta di vini al calice. Il nostro era molto buono. Servizio attento ed anche una piccola svista si è trasformata in una occasione per fare una battuta divertente. Prezzi medi come si conviene ad un posto di qualità. Da consigliare.

04/11/2025: This review covers the hotel and restaurant. As for the hotel, everything was great. They were very accommodating with many of our special requests. The view and staff are fantastic. I can only say I recommend it. As for the restaurants, we tried many of the options there and everything was delicious, so I can recommend it as well.

20/10/2025: A terrible experience. I'm reluctant to leave a review like that, but I don't like being made fun of. More than an hour's wait for a pizza in a room with less than 10 people. After a couple of requests, a further wait, and an unexpected mockery from a waitress who was probably new to the experience, a prepackaged and raw pizza arrived. We got up and left, paying only for drinks and a cover charge. (And it really takes a lot for me to do something like that.) Maybe this will help the restaurant manager understand that they can definitely do better. Luckily, a little further on, we found a decent restaurant.

07/10/2025: Something beautiful. Such an atmosphere is a treasure. One of the most beautiful places on Lake Como, a must-visit with your loved one.

03/10/2025: Positive: The mini golf course is also okay, and for €5 per adult and €4 for children, it's okay. But that's about all the great things Lido Menaggio has to offer. Contrary: I can say without exaggeration that the bathing area is an absolute disgrace compared to the entrance prices, bordering on a rip-off. A family of four pays €20 to enter. However, after that, you're only allowed to lie on the lawn. A sun lounger costs an additional €4, and a parasol another €4. You quickly notice that the entire complex is unkempt, and in some places even looks neglected. The toilets aren't cleaned (literally covered in trash), there's no toilet paper, the sand soccer field is a disgrace, with broken glass on the floor and staff walking carelessly past it, and cigarette butts on the lawn. After a power outage lasting almost two hours, the thawed ice cream is resold. Truly disgusting!!! We declined politely. The other food options are no better. A regular burger costs €6, a sausage in a bun with mustard is sold as a hot dog and costs €5, and a regular-sized portion of fries also costs €5. The prices are outrageous considering what's on offer. The Menaggio Lido seems to want to be a hip place. But it can't. It seems forced and incompetent. The list of flaws could go on endlessly. In Germany, a lido like this would have to close after one season. I can think of one good thing, though... The water playground in the lake is great; all the kids who can swim and the adults have fun here, and that was ultimately the only reason we went there three times. Otherwise, you can safely avoid this place. But form your own opinion. Have fun!

28/10/2025: Il Ranch is a very nice typical Italian restaurant. Nothing fancy, but great Italian food and atmosphere. The staff is very nice as well. If you just want to eat good food and enjoy yourself then visit Il Ranch! You will not regret eating here! Thank you for Il Ranch for the nice evening!
