24/08/2024: Very nice location right in the limited traffic area in the center of Como, very suggestive in the evening with the lights on the tables. Pizza good but not exceptional let's say that the prices are a little high considering that the portions are small but you know that when you are in the center you also pay for the place:-( dessert also very good but a sore point about the price which is expensive like fire. Of course, being in the center, forget about parking nearby, especially on weekends and in summer.

06/08/2024: DE-LI-CIOUS. An amazing diner and evening with my family and my boyfriend! All the dishes were excellent, especially the tiramisu which was the best I ever had. Truly a 10/10. The service was amazing, thanks to Kate, who was very nice and professional. And her recommendations were always spot on! The linguine were just amazing. The beautiful view on the Cattedrale di Santa Maria Assunta made our evening even more special. Hoping to come back here very soon! :)

They had a problem with the light that the light went out every two times three (more than 20 times in an hour and a half) We had to have dinner at 30 degrees with unbearable heat and listening to a very noisy generator that turned off every five minutes Meal. 07/08/2024: Nice place, overlooking the sea of ​​the port. Friendly waiters. But for the food and prices I wouldn't go back. We spent €82 for: - 1 starter of 3 mini tartares which were hot! Not really good; - 1 fish first course, good; - 1 fried fish with pieces of fish full of bones, 4 squid rings thrown in, 3 prawns, not even a small fish. Really poor and above all burnt, so much so that it was all bitter. The waiting times were really long but there were problems with continuous blackouts in the area and so I want to think that they were due to that. Furthermore, at the time of the check it took a very long time because there was a discussion with some foreign tourists who simply asked the classic question "is everything okay?" they dared to reply that they had suffered from the heat and had not liked the food very much. The attitude was truly unwelcoming, polite or professional. Dear Patrizia, I am correcting my review to respond to you: you have never mentioned the blackout as the cause of the inconvenience. Also because I don't see the correlation in the temperature of the tartare or in the "richness" of the mixed fried food. For the prices you offer we expect much more, I'm sorry. 27/07/2024: We ate at La Retrovo as we were staying in the wonderful Parco San Marco a few minutes walk away. I recommend a table by the water's edge, however, the food wine and good friendly service help to make it a memorable experience no matter where the table is.We will willingly return on a future occasion.

04/08/2024: We stayed here as a stopover .Room has a lovely king size bed, shower was good. The messages from the landlord were clear and friendly. Received tips for a refreshing dip in a nearby swimming pool. Had dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The pizzas were delicious. In short, highly recommended.

28/07/2024: We booked the room not knowing quite what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised! We mostly booked for the location, which is perfect. Easy access to the train station and the ferry piers. We booked a double room with a lake view and we were not disappointed. The room was bigger than we expected and very clean. The bathroom is on the small side but was very clean as well. At check in we were greeted by Suzy, she was very kind and checked us in efficiently. Suzy helped carry the luggage to the room which is up 2 flights of stairs. The rooms are located directly behind check in and where breakfast is served. We booked a room with breakfast and were very happy with our decision. Even with the central location, the room was very quiet. Many choices including fresh cooked omelettes. There are usually two ladies working breakfast and both were very kind and helpful. If we return to Como we would definitely book this hotel again.

26/08/2024: We returned to eat at Trattoria Laghee and as per tradition we had a great time: risottos always at the top and delicious tagliolini with lake ragù. We highly recommend it if you go to or pass through Cernobbio

28/07/2024: If it wasn’t for the gorgeous view and the decent food, it would be a 1 star. This was the worst dining experience my boyfriend and I had in our whole time being in Como. They force “house cocktails” on you as soon as you sit down. When I asked how much they cost they pretended they didn’t understand what I was asking or that they understood English. They did. They ended up completely overcharging us for the cocktails. They also added a wine charge on the receipt that I never ordered. They charge you 10 euros for also just “being at the restaurant”. The servers are very rude, and overall the service despite all else, was not great. I wouldn’t recommend.

12/07/2024: We came here for our anniversary meal during our trip to lake como. We were seated at the back of the outside area which is absolutely fine as I appreciate everyone wants to be sitting in the balcony area closest to the view but as we were seated the waiter said if a table becomes available we can be seated in the balcony area. During the time waiting to order, multiple tables became available on the balcony closest to the view and before my husband could even get 2 words out, the owner rudely cut him off and says that we’re seated here he’ll decide if there’s time for us to move, don’t ask again and now it’s time to order. I struggle with my health and which can often affect my eating and mean I’m not up for eating loads, so when it came to ordering we decided to skip a starter and just opt for the risotto for 2 and then order more depending how I’m feeling, the owner who took our order made me feel guilty and extremely uncomfortable for this. The risotto was nice but something that could easily be found somewhere else. After this we felt so uncomfortable and couldn’t wait to get out of there. In future we’ll just go to a nice viewpoint and find somewhere friendlier for a better meal!

24/08/2024: La qualité des plats ne vaut pas le prix demander. Nous y sommes allé il y a quelques jours la cuisine est fade, le canard mal cuit et il restait encore des bouts de plume.... Bref, le ramage n'est pas à la hauteur du plumage... 😅

18/02/2024: Serata perfetta, ambiente accogliente e ben curato, tutto il personale gentile, sorridente e molto professionale. Sergio, il titolare, una persona squisita, che ama il suo lavoro e lo trasmette a tavola con cibo ottimo e a tutto il suo staff. Lo consiglio vivamente Grazie a tutto lo Staff per la bellissima serata che ci hanno fatto vivere.

19/08/2024: Sono stata stasera in questo ristorante con mio marito abbiamo mangiato pesce e devo dire che era tutto ottimo, servizio veloce e personale più che gentile. Non avendo prenotato e trovando un locale pieno non ho assolutamente preteso ne chiesto di trovare un posto fuori con i miei cani penso che bisogna anche comprendere invece che pretendere perché si è clienti!!! Per domani ho prenotato e avrò il mio tavolo fuori riservato e sicuramente fino a fine vacanza proverò tutti i piatti

26/07/2024: With so many restaurants in Florence, it's hard to make a decision on where to eat. The food is pretty much going to be good wherever you go, that is why you need to think about the other factors. I didn't realize that until tonight when we dined at “La Tenda Rossa”. I felt like a part of the family as Ray and Simone introduced us to Italian customs, liquor and the proper way to roll a cigarette. We went for a quick dinner and three hours later left with new friends. They have the best lasagna I've had since middle school and after the owner explained how he makes his tiramisu, I knew it would be amazing, I was right. Our evening at this restaurant is one of my favorite moments in Florence. 

10/08/2024: We got 2 pizza margarita for takeaway. Each costs 7.50 euros. Way cheaper then the pizzarias on the main street. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Quick service. Pizza was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend. It is a hidden gem

07/08/2024: Loved this place. We ordered take-away pizza a couple of times, there are plenty of options, including vegetarian ones. The pizzas are made just as you order them with fresh ingredients. The waiters/cooks are really nice and close (they speak out loud, but remember that you are in Southern Europe, that's great!).

03/08/2024: Pleasant evening made excellent by the excellent food and impeccable service. Highly recommended place for both a dinner with friends and a romantic one. I am happy to write this review, being in the sector, because I believe that beautiful realities like this give prestige to my beloved Domaso. In my opinion, the boy who served us is very good, always attentive, smiling, funny and professional. Empfehlenswert!

31/07/2024: Excellent pizza restaurant with a not too extensive menu with a good assortment. I tried both the cuisine and the pizza, all excellent with quality ingredients. Friendly service and helpful environment with a beautiful terrace overlooking the lake where even at midday you can still eat well outside without air conditioning.
