15/06/2026: Had a spontaneous lunch here. The best Italian food in Lake Como! Great service - fun friendly waiters.
14/06/2026: Very disappointing experience. Don’t go here. It’s a prime location, but the service and atmosphere were poor. We left before ordering, so I can’t comment on the food. Leaving was already awkward, but staff reacted aggressively, which made the situation genuinely uncomfortable.

11/06/2026: Unfortunately, the food was not good. The portions were very small and there was nothing positive to say about the taste.
11/06/2026: That was the worst €6 "insalata mista" I've had in Italy in a long time. It consisted almost entirely of red and white cabbage, a few carrots, and three slices of tomato... The ravioli, however, were delicious.
Apparently, they make the "aglio e olio" here without parsley. For me, it's essential.

16/06/2026: Friendly and welcoming staff. The room we had was fine, no complaints. The breakfast itself was nothing more than standard (good coffee, though), but the view you eat next to! Wow! Other places in Bellagio just can't compete with that
16/06/2026: Very friendly staff, cheap compared to the rest of the hotels, nice rooms, but without air conditioning, but with a ceiling fan.
Nicely clean. Quite okay pillows, and the possibility of adding a blanket and duvet if needed.
The breakfast is quite indifferent. Small selection of yogurt with toppings, bread, some fruit. Croissant which is quite dry. Not fantastic, but the view was simply fantastic. Right on the water.
I would like to come back to this hotel if I have to visit Bellagio again. Especially because it is a little away and peaceful from the more touristy part of the city.

16/05/2026: Tourist trap. A disgrace. We ordered a salad for €13 and received bagged leaves with mozzarella and no dressing. The pizza was frozen with canned mushrooms... in short, we should have read the reviews beforehand... right near the market, they know they're busy. Shameful.
01/05/2026: I stopped by for a quiet coffee... Questionable welcome, dirty table, slow service... coffee that wasn't really coffee.
I was hoping for better!

15/08/2026: Possibly the worst dining experience we’ve had in Como.
We ordered pizza and drinks, but somehow the food arrived before the drinks. We weren’t given any plates, there was no ice for the drinks, and the service generally felt completely disorganised and inattentive.
Unfortunately, the pizza itself didn’t make up for it — distinctly mediocre and absolutely nothing to recommend.
The final straw was discovering someone else’s body hair in my Aperol Spritz. 🤢 At that point, mediocre food and poor service became the least of our concerns.
Como has far too many lovely places to eat and drink to waste your time here. We certainly wouldn’t return.

14/07/2025: Heerlijk gegeten, vrij forse porties en bijzondere smaken. Net wat afwijkend van wat je doorgaans krijgt. Bijzonder smaakvolle gerechten en super vriendelijk personeel.
12/07/2025: Un prezzo medio/alto che andrebbe anche bene se i piatti fossero rapportati anche al livello qualitativo. Ravioli al nero di seppia, farciti con salmone e crema al limone, ma talmente pepati da fare scomparire completamente tutti gli altri sapori. Cottura eccessivamente al dente. Personale di sala simpatico, titolare/cuoco un po' meno. Al momento di pagare ho fatto notare le pecche e, invece di mostrare un segno di scuse (che so... almeno un limoncello) ha provato a giustificare il piatto quasi a contestare la mia annotazione come quella di chi non capisce la cucina. In genere, il pepe serve a nascondere la qualità scadente dei prodotti.

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished.
The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.
03/07/2025: This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were fantastic, and the interior was cozy. A very pleasant and warm atmosphere.
This year, the older chef came by again to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was alright. And it was! As we were leaving, we made sure to thank him personally once more!
We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!
