01/01/2026: Mediocre food. Saffron risotto without saffron, very low-quality gnocchi, raw and truffle-laced lamb chops without truffle, fish & chips without fish but with lots of fried polenta. Friendly but inattentive staff. Prices are in line with Bellagio, but decidedly high for the quality.

26/09/2025: We had reserved a table for four outside, but the lady who welcomed us arrogantly and rudely told me, "No, inside only," simply because another, larger group had reserved the outside tables after us. This was actually a minor issue, because once inside, we were treated like dirt, most likely because we were foreigners. The food was generally awful: appetizers full of oil, first courses that were very hard to digest, and desserts that were bland (perhaps the only thing that stood out was the tiramisu). The final surprise: €40 per person, without wine, just water and coffee. Note that the bill was calculated by hand after a wait of about 10 minutes. I highly recommend it, especially given the rudeness of the staff!!!

24/12/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at Trattoria Laghee was deeply disappointing. I ordered ossobuco, which, unfortunately, did not even begin to live up to the standards of this traditional dish. The meat was extremely tough, practically inedible, and far from the consistency and quality of a true ossobuco. I only tasted a small piece and decided not to eat it, as it was clearly undercooked. The situation worsened further when it came to the bill. Despite calmly explaining that I hadn't eaten the dish due to its poor quality, I was still asked to pay for the entire ossobuco. During the discussion, the owner even suggested we take the dish home to "finish the cooking," as if it were normal for a customer to finish preparing a dish at home that should be served properly cooked in the restaurant. I found this attitude extremely unprofessional and rude, especially considering that the problem wasn't a matter of personal taste, but a clear flaw in the preparation of the dish. Instead of seeking an appropriate solution, they preferred to argue and place the blame on the customer. It's truly a shame, because I expected a completely different experience. I believe that the quality of the dishes and respect for the customer are fundamental, and unfortunately, both were lacking on this occasion. —————————————————— Unfortunately, my experience at Trattoria Laghee was deeply disappointing. 02/11/2025: Restaurant overlooking the lake with an unparalleled view. Daily menu or à la carte menu, and very fair prices. The decor is a bit dated, but that's a minor detail. Clean bathrooms.

03/01/2026: Paid 20 euros more per person for New Year's Eve for the reason of New Year's Eve service, what services apart from the TV on, there was nothing, absurd prices 400 euros for a pizza, 2 focaccias, 2 starters, 2 first courses and 4 ice creams,

01/01/2026: I hated giving the atmosphere two stars, but it's not nice to see people crammed into the restaurant's tables and staff slaloming around with trays to avoid a disaster. An even worse point are the dirty bathrooms, with no soap at the sink or toilet paper (maybe I bought the wrong one). The prices are quite high, justified by the spectacular location and the many foreign tourists who are incompetent in the kitchen and eager to leave generous tips. On a positive note, however, are the table service staff and the outdoor setting, which is truly spectacular. I also appreciated the heaters and blankets at the tables. For me, being local, it's definitely a place to stop for a coffee.

28/12/2025: When we arrived, we had to wait our turn, and we even opted to eat outside, in the ambient temperature of 6°. It was worth it for the experience, the food, and especially the company. The service was very good and friendly. The coffee in my village is much better, 😎

04/10/2025: A small restaurant in the heart of Lenno, with good Italian cuisine at high prices. Although the food was good, I wouldn't recommend this place due to the price/performance ratio. No pasta dish was under €20, a beer was €8 (only "special"). A small appetizer, bread was not fresh. A cover was €4 per person. The kitchen door was constantly open, which was a distraction on a quiet evening. Overall, a lot of money was wasted for a rather disappointing evening (although the food was tasty).

21/09/2025: We were guests at the hotel and were out cycling – the couple was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful! We offered a free aperitif in the restaurant and even a small breakfast. Great!!!
