03/08/2025: What a fantastic experience! Our request for a specific table was taken into account right from the reservation – and indeed, we got exactly the spot we were hoping for. The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional. The food? Simply divine – fresh, creative, and full of flavor! From the antipasti to the dessert, everything was perfectly coordinated. The ambience at Gatto Nero is charming and stylish at the same time – just the right balance of elegance and comfort. We felt welcome from the very first moment. Thank you to the entire team – we'll definitely be back!

03/08/2025: The view is the major (and arguably only) attraction here - but even its magnificence can’t overcome the really shoddy attempt at fine dining. Very disappointing.

16/08/2025: We stopped for a late lunch with a view of the lake. The place is classy, airy, the atmosphere was quiet, and the service excellent. The prices were comparable if not lower than most of the restaurants in the nearby piazzas, and if you're looking for a much quieter classy place this is it.

16/08/2025: Because we have a new puppy and our old dog finding places to eat where they'll be happy isn't easy. So eventually we thought we'd try the "tourist trap" near the lake front But it was the best accident. The food was delicious. The prices weren't extortionate. Pretty reasonable for the location and ambience. The only critique I could have is the portion size isn't huge. But the food tastes great so I'll settle for that.

08/08/2025: There's no arguing about taste, but if you really want a good meal, visit La Locanda Tremezzo, a three-minute walk away. and this pasta carbonara (as well as the entire menu) is unparalleled.

04/08/2025: Nice atmosphere and views for dinner, but otherwise the whole experience is outdated and gimmicky - like fine dining in the 90s. The food itself was not remarkable, very hit or miss. Not entirely bad but we expected more given Gualtiero Marchesi’s legendary reputation. Several dishes were bland and lacked any depth of flavour, and some served lukewarm. If this were in any other location than Grand Hotel Tremezzo, there would be no appeal. Go for the setting more than the food, and only if you can get a table on the edge.

27/06/2025: Fuimos a cenar cuando nos alojamos localmente por dos noches y el viento estaba levantado y la orilla del lago soplaba. Aunque mo reserva, muchas mesas tenían un cartel, se mostró a una mesa exterior encantadora en la terraza en el parque no hay problema. Personal amable y servicial, delicioso entrante de jamón y melón y pizza y lasaña platos principales con delicioso vino por copa (4 copas). Todo por 80€ parecía una buena relación calidad-precio. Volvería. Lo recomendaría. Espero que la reseña sea útil.

16/08/2025: The place is nice, but the prices make me think it's a tourist trap. It's not nice to say that, and I realize it, but I can't help it... it's not about value for money, and I'm sorry. I'm happy to pay a lot, but you have to give me proper service. The showers are open and in plain sight as soon as someone enters the dedicated area. The changing room is far from the shower, so if you shower, you have to go into the common corridor to change... what's the point? You're charging me so much. Thanks for the free bottle of water and the towel, but it's not enough. I misinterpreted the price list twice... (yes, I've been there twice before this review) The "restaurant" menu in the pool area is limited in choice... In addition to paying almost €100 for admission, the lunch prices are truly high. Children splashed around in the water all afternoon—I understand, they're kids and they're not a nuisance, for goodness' sake—but I'm not at a municipal beach club; I'm paying as if I were at a 5-star hotel, which needs to be monitored... and I'm not someone who minds the noise. Overall, the experience was positive... but not at this price... considering the total cost for the whole day (about €160 for two), I don't think it was worth it. Again, I'm sorry... but before setting these prices, you should be aware of who you are and what you offer. I've never spent this much at the best beach clubs in Dubai...

17/06/2025: This restaurant is located on a small square in a beautiful bay by Lake Como. They serve good wine, have friendly staff, and offer Italian-Sicilian food. Highly recommended!

Profesional, apasionado mostrado a través de cada pequeño detalle, comida brillante en el ambiente perfecto. Los propietarios son genuina y sinceramente amable y encantadora gente que simplemente ama su trabajo! En general y una experiencia increíble que no se puede perder si se encuentra en la zona de Como.
