02/03/2026: Very small portions and mediocre food. Not to mention the bill: absolutely excessive for what we consumed. My partner is celiac, and we had recommended special care when preparing the risotto, which included fried anchovies. We were told they were breaded with rice flour, but they were most likely fried in oil already used for other dishes. After lunch, my partner had a severe reaction consistent with gluten contamination and has been sick for several days. With celiac disease, attention to contamination is crucial.

27/02/2026: The scenery was truly amazing. I went in mid-February, and it wasn't cold at all, so I enjoyed a comfortable meal alone at the outdoor table. While traveling in Italy for over ten days, I struggled with food that didn't suit my taste (too salty, undercooked, etc.), but here, I devoured every single bowl. I ordered spicy shrimp pasta, but it wasn't spicy at all. I wished it had a bit more pepperoncino. I thought it tasted familiar, so I thought it tasted a bit similar to Chef Choi Hyun-seok's meal kit pasta sold on Kurly (I love Chef Choi Hyun-seok's meal kits). I went alone, but the seating was great, the view was beautiful, and the weather was perfect, so I had a cake for dessert. I thought it would taste even better without the syrup on top. Maybe it was just my imagination, but it was still edible. The person taking my order said it was the best choice. The staff was quite accommodating, and they constantly checked on me to see if I needed anything. For a seaside tourist destination, the food prices weren't bad. Overall, the prices were comparable to those in Rome or Florence.

21/02/2026: Pre-made pizza base and canned mushrooms on the pizza pretty much say it all. The price/performance ratio is a complete disappointment. I wouldn't go there again.

The quality of the food is good, with thoughtful pairings and top-quality ingredients. A pleasant gastronomic experience, designed for those who appreciate refined flavors. The service was attentive and friendly, although not entirely worthy of the price paid: considering the quality and cost of the establishment, one would expect impeccable professionalism in every aspect. Overall, a wonderful experience, enhanced especially by the location and the unique atmosphere that only Lake Como can offer.

18/10/2025: A definite highlight of our trip to Lake Como. The view is spectacular, even at night! We're a younger American couple and we were treated very kindly by all the staff, so I was surprised to see other reviews stating differently. Marlene, our server, was especially charming and made the evening fun! Our meal was delicious from the beginning with the olive tapenade and the goat cheese+veg app. If you go, absolutely get the tiramasu for dessert - the best I've ever had! We hadn't planned to stop here, but walking in the area is difficult (get a taxi, it's worth it), and in the end I'm so glad we did!

Despite repeated reminders, I have never been contacted. This kind of behavior not only demonstrates zero professionalism, but it has wasted my time. Totally unacceptable.

03/01/2026: Paid 20 euros more per person for New Year's Eve for the reason of New Year's Eve service, what services apart from the TV on, there was nothing, absurd prices 400 euros for a pizza, 2 focaccias, 2 starters, 2 first courses and 4 ice creams,

Four penne arrived, and when we paid, we were charged €14 for a measly plate of pasta. I asked for an explanation, saying that the pasta was a half portion. But the lady at the cashier didn't care in the slightest. Her explanation was...it says a full portion here! Without even asking the waiter if there had been a mistake.

I ordered ossobuco, which, unfortunately, did not even begin to live up to the standards of this traditional dish. The meat was extremely tough, practically inedible, and far from the consistency and quality of a true ossobuco. I only tasted a small piece and decided not to eat it, as it was clearly undercooked. The situation worsened further when it came to the bill. Despite calmly explaining that I hadn't eaten the dish due to its poor quality, I was still asked to pay for the entire ossobuco. During the discussion, the owner even suggested we take the dish home to "finish the cooking," as if it were normal for a customer to finish preparing a dish at home that should be served properly cooked in the restaurant. I found this attitude extremely unprofessional and rude, especially considering that the problem wasn't a matter of personal taste, but a clear flaw in the preparation of the dish. Instead of seeking an appropriate solution, they preferred to argue and place the blame on the customer. It's truly a shame, because I expected a completely different experience. 23/01/2026: The restaurant looked unassuming from the outside and inside. However, upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. A homely, family atmosphere was palpable. A smiling waiter invited us to a table and patiently waited while we placed our final order – it was difficult to decide, as the menu had so many dishes. Ultimately, we opted for the classic carbonara and gnocchi with vegetables. These were the best dishes we had at any restaurant on Lake Como during our week-long trip. The limoncello at the bar was also decent. The only thing that tempted us to visit this place was its opening hours, which didn't change during siesta – all the recommended restaurants were closed. Luckily, we found it and didn't rely on the reviews, which are definitely unfounded… If you're looking for a secluded place with delicious food (especially), we wholeheartedly recommend it!

10/01/2026: We had coffee after walking up to the Volta Lighthouse via the funicular. A nice hot chocolate or a beer for some, and then we were ready to walk back down and take the funicular again. The view of Lake Como from the restaurant or the terrace is splendid. The service was friendly.

04/03/2026: Prices are too high for the size of the portions and the service. The location is beautiful, in the piazza overlooking the lake. The flavors are good, but the portions are too small. €89 for lunch includes an appetizer and two main courses, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine.

26/11/2025: It will never change 🤦😡 I've seen so many managers pass by!!! The pizza is a disaster! Oven always off, wait 30 minutes, and there's no one there! As long as we eat if there are no customers, spicy salami and ham pizza🤦 never change😡 the mozzarella is put after the tomato!!!!!¡🤦🤦🤦😡 No!!! The gold first they add the toppings then lastly mozzarella and basil! My salami not crunchy, ham, raw.. and not cooked, as Neapolitan tradition says!!!! But it's possible!!!!! 🤦😡😡😡 Oh well, it's been 20 years since I've been back......... Another 20 will pass, .PS. then I didn't eat it all, after 4 hours I reheat it, BRICK!!!!🤦😡 change jobs? 09/09/2025: I must say that despite the less than stellar reviews, we ate well. Recommended by the staff, we had three delicious fish-based first courses (some fresh, some frozen), two fried calamari and shrimp dishes (frozen but good), well-fried, crispy, and not greasy, and a roast swordfish and shrimp. Three excellent, freshly made tiramisu concluded the meal. The wine was good, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.

08/09/2025: For a few years now, we have been regularly frequenting this lovely place during our holidays in Salento. Good food, good service, and excellent value for money, both for a pizzeria and a restaurant. All of this is often accompanied by background music, which is always a plus. I highly recommend it!

21/09/2025: We were guests at the hotel and were out cycling – the couple was extremely friendly, attentive, and helpful! We offered a free aperitif in the restaurant and even a small breakfast. Great!!!
