02/05/2026: Reservation for two for dinner. The staff is very friendly and welcoming; I emphasize their speed of service and the excellent quality of the fish!! You could taste it was fresh! We were also offered a digestive liqueur at the end of the meal. Recommended!! 😃

11/10/2025: We had dinner with our children at this restaurant. The food was excellent, and the service was just as good. The waiter was incredibly friendly and attentive, even to the youngest guests. We truly enjoyed our evening and are very grateful for it!

21/09/2025: We stumbled upon Lido di Sala after wondering around Sala Comacina where we were staying. It's incredibly charming, with covered tables overlooking a scenic cove of water. Luca, our server, was wonderful and personable, and the food was delicious. Nothing fancy, just a well-prepared and very tasty meal. The ossobucco was fabulous, and the vanilla banana liqueur dessert was amazing. Thank you to Luca and staff for a wonderful Sunday dinner!

31/05/2026: Bilacus Ristorante – Bellagio Review Bilacus was recommended to us as a good local restaurant with excellent food, and we decided to give it a try during our stay in Bellagio. Since Bellagio is such a popular destination, we expected most of the diners to be tourists, and that was indeed the case during our visit. We had a 7:00 PM reservation and were among the first guests seated in their beautiful courtyard patio. The setting is charming and romantic, with a gravel-stone floor that adds to the atmosphere. One small tip: if you’re wearing heels, be careful walking on the uneven surface. The only issue we encountered was with our seating. When we were first seated, my husband was facing directly into the sun, which was shining into his eyes. He politely asked if we could move to a nearby table in the shade. We were initially told the restaurant was fully booked. When he pointed out that the other table appeared available, we were told again that they were fully booked, and then that the sun would be setting soon. Considering it was only 7:00 PM and sunset wasn’t until after 9:00 PM, that explanation didn’t really make sense. After asking a third time, we were eventually moved to the next table. It wasn’t a major issue in the grand scheme of things, but it did feel like an unnecessary struggle for a simple request. That aside, the food was excellent. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well prepared, and enjoyable. The warm evening weather added to the pleasant atmosphere, and once we were settled, we had a very nice dining experience. Overall, Bilacus delivered on the quality of the food and the lovely setting. While the seating situation could have been handled more graciously, we still enjoyed our dinner and would recommend it to visitors looking for a pleasant evening meal in Bellagio. 4 stars. ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

02/06/2026: It was 10 PM because we got home late from a trip, but they seated us without hesitation. We ordered two pizzas, waited about 15-20 minutes, and they were very good and had plenty of toppings. We had a large water and a Coke to drink, and paid €27 in total. The staff were very friendly, so no complaints. Recommended! ☺️

31/05/2026: The food was fine. Beautifully presented and tasty. The service, however, was a disaster. Food arrived at the wrong times and in the wrong order. Two main courses were sent back because the starters hadn't been finished or hadn't been served yet. At no point were the components of the dinner on the table at the same time. Only one of us was eating at a time. Not once was there an apology or anything similar. Let alone a cup of coffee or a drink on the house. Asked for the bill. Coming right up. Waiting. The waiter was standing outside smoking a cigarette! Naturally, the bill was completely incorrect as well. Very disappointing. Especially for the chef, who clearly has more passion for his craft.

23/01/2026: The restaurant looked unassuming from the outside and inside. However, upon entering, we were pleasantly surprised. A homely, family atmosphere was palpable. A smiling waiter invited us to a table and patiently waited while we placed our final order – it was difficult to decide, as the menu had so many dishes. Ultimately, we opted for the classic carbonara and gnocchi with vegetables. These were the best dishes we had at any restaurant on Lake Como during our week-long trip. The limoncello at the bar was also decent. The only thing that tempted us to visit this place was its opening hours, which didn't change during siesta – all the recommended restaurants were closed. Luckily, we found it and didn't rely on the reviews, which are definitely unfounded… If you're looking for a secluded place with delicious food (especially), we wholeheartedly recommend it!

10/01/2026: We had coffee after walking up to the Volta Lighthouse via the funicular. A nice hot chocolate or a beer for some, and then we were ready to walk back down and take the funicular again. The view of Lake Como from the restaurant or the terrace is splendid. The service was friendly.

24/05/2026: NEVER AGAIN One of the worst pizzas I've ever eaten Terrible flavor, all thin After all the decorations, location, and service... they really make terrible pizzas.

12/04/2026: One of those old-fashioned places, in a good way. We arrived by boat, and that alone creates a certain atmosphere; then you sit down, a view of the lake, white tablecloths, glasses, discreet service. Everything is coherent, nothing forced. The menu doesn't have a thousand confusing options: a few well-chosen dishes, in keeping with tradition and the place. These are rare places, especially in this area where mass tourism has transformed many establishments into something anonymous and interchangeable.

01/04/2026: I don't know exactly what happened to this pizzeria over the years, perhaps it changed management. I called to order takeout pizzas, and they laughed and couldn't understand which pizza I'd chosen, as if I'd made some strange request (a north-south one, as per the menu). The pizza wasn't good at all, starting with the dough, let alone the ingredients. Plus, the pizzeria was empty on a Saturday night, a sign that it's definitely gone downhill.

11/07/2025: This is a historic restaurant in Domaso that has had several different owners for varying lengths of time, but all have maintained the unique character of the osteria. Access is gained by descending two steps into two rooms with exposed stonework and vaulted ceilings. An internal staircase leads to the first floor, where the rooms are modernly furnished. The menu offers classic lakeside specialties and well-prepared seafood. The wine list is decent, and prices are reasonable. It's popular with tourists seeking this historic atmosphere, and they don't mind the lack of lake views. July 2025: closed until a new owner is found.

03/07/2025: This was our second time at this restaurant, and once again we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! The food and service were fantastic, and the interior was cozy. A very pleasant and warm atmosphere. This year, the older chef came by again to ask if we were enjoying our meal and if everything was alright. And it was! As we were leaving, we made sure to thank him personally once more! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much!

09/09/2025: I must say that despite the less than stellar reviews, we ate well. Recommended by the staff, we had three delicious fish-based first courses (some fresh, some frozen), two fried calamari and shrimp dishes (frozen but good), well-fried, crispy, and not greasy, and a roast swordfish and shrimp. Three excellent, freshly made tiramisu concluded the meal. The wine was good, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.

08/09/2025: For a few years now, we have been regularly frequenting this lovely place during our holidays in Salento. Good food, good service, and excellent value for money, both for a pizzeria and a restaurant. All of this is often accompanied by background music, which is always a plus. I highly recommend it!

03/06/2026: The property and gardens of the grand hotel tremezzo where the restaurant is located are extremely pretty. The restaurant is good but honestly not extremely good which you may expect for EUR 250 per person exclusing drinks. The views and location do make up for much.
