25/07/2025: We were just restaurant guests who wanted some delicious Italian food. The restaurant is generally quite chic. The staff are friendly and make an effort. In my opinion the food wasn't exactly what I would have expected from a meal in Italy... maybe I was expecting too much... The bruschetta and the cheese plate were really poorly presented. The bread for the bruschetta was stale and the tomatoes had a very bland taste. The portions of the main courses, especially the pasta, are really small. Tasty, but small. The pizza was OK, but I've had better... The restaurant is generally OK, but there are better ones.

22/06/2025: Well-kept and clean place, easily accessible both on foot and by car. The pizza was delicious, soft with a high crust and the dessert was exquisite. The waiters were very efficient and good, the restaurant in general is highly recommended.

12/08/2025: It's very difficult to be amazed on Lake Como. After years spent searching for authenticity and tradition, I was losing hope amidst restaurants offering frozen pinsas, ready-made meals, and superficial catering. I stumbled upon Domenico and Alessia, explorers and pioneers of high-end dining in Valbrona, an area renowned for its game specialties and mountain culture. Here, thanks to Domenico's passion for quality cuisine, under the watchful eye of Alessia, he offers Mediterranean cuisine featuring seafood and local products, a fertile ground for a new beginning. The tireless Laura, the chef's mother, personally oversees every table, ensuring every dish is a success, blending the future with tradition with a smile that will spread. Today, a game-themed dinner event... porcini mushroom risotto, pappardelle with wild boar, wild boar shank, and sirloin steak. Three different cooking methods, three different experiences. Let yourself be tempted by Domenico's skill. I don't know how to best describe this evening other than to tell you that it's worth stopping by.

11/08/2025: The location is in the center of Valbrona, just steps from Oliveto Lario and Bellagio. It offers convenient free public parking. Excellent seafood and meat cuisine. Very good pizza, with a gourmet option. Prices are in line with other restaurants in the area where you want quality food. Definitely accessible to everyone, families or couples. Domenico, the owner, and Alessia are very kind and friendly. Highly recommended, I'll be back.

29/07/2025: We have been coming here for years and it’s always good. The service is excellent and the food tastes good. The value of their lunch menu is unbeatable and we always see locals eat here as well. Pizza is also great.

13/07/2025: Very nice hotel on Lake Como. The room was clean and relatively spacious, with wonderful floors and captivating decor. The restaurant had a delicious gluten-free pizza (and regular pizza too!), as well as several other dishes. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And the location was perfect for a short vacation to explore the surroundings -there are several restaurants and small shops nearby, with the ferry station just a short walk (five minutes) away. Definitely recommended!

14/06/2025: Vinimos al Bellavista para cenar en nuestra primera noche en Brunate por recomendación de nuestros anfitriones AirBnB, y tuvimos una noche perfecta. El Bellavista es un encantador edificio histórico situado en la parte superior del funicular Brunate, con una vista espectacular desde el restaurante sobre el lago y el valle de abajo. Puede sentarse a su mesa dentro del restaurante junto a las ventanas abiertas mirando hacia fuera mientras come platos locales realmente encantadores - ravioles de percha, lasaña de jabalí, quesos locales y panna cotta y merengues para terminar. Si hubiéramos tenido más tiempo, habríamos venido aquí una segunda vez.

13/06/2025: Disfrutamos de un excelente almuerzo con una hermosa vista del lago de Como. Afortunadamente pudieron llevarnos como un paseo, pero una reserva sería prudente para garantizar una mesa con vistas. La comida y el servicio eran excelentes, y los precios eran muy razonables. Una gran opción para el almuerzo o la cena en Como!

25/07/2025: Took my parents and my girlfriend for a lovely dusk dinner. Cant fault the views: it’s nestled in a little depression beside the Via Statale, totally on its own there, has its own pier (we chose to take a boat to the restaurant), as do most other guests, and has broad views looking north up Como. Pretty staggering. The service (Marko) was exceptional - thoughtful, friendly and attentive without being overbearing (and just enough flirting with my mum…). The food was good, local, game and lake-fish heavy - but the only area they fell at all short. My mushroom tart was pretty soft and squishy (technical terms), and the tagliata di manzo was a little tough. The pasta (we had the crab ragú and duck papardelle) was absolutely delicious, however.

06/08/2025: What an amazing place! We came here 12 years ago, and it's even better and more beautiful. Beautiful, clean rooms with fantastic views, a wonderful restaurant, and a delicious breakfast. It's also a paradise for kids, with a trampoline by the lake, a large water deck with a slide, SUPs, and canoes. Plenty of sunbeds, towels, and great service. Thank you!

04/08/2025: At first we went to the hotel and we were surprised by the hotel from the outside. The hotel's appearance is very bad. There is no official reception, only a chair, a table and a computer (unprofessional work). It looks like an ordinary house and is inside for people in their home, which does not suit us as Arabs. The mistake was my fault that I booked the hotel without free cancellation. May God compensate us, Lord. We left it right away and I think the place is scary at night. Thank God, our arrival was during the day. The shape of the key itself is strange.

16/08/2025: Tourist trap! The pizza is a total disgrace, and the price/performance ratio is completely unacceptable! Not recommended.

11/08/2025: We had a drink here with our children, the atmosphere was pleasant and the staff very friendly!

25/06/2025: Today we were at this restaurant for the first time and we opted for the "Menu of the Day" formula: at a cost of €17.50 per person, the menu includes a first course, a second course with side dish, service charge, water and 1/4 of wine. I had the meat dishes: Tortiglioni Sausage and broccoli and Saltimbocca alla romana with mashed potatoes; NonZio had the fish dishes: Farfalle with seafood ragù and Roasted octopus with spinach. We were both happy with the dishes they served us: they were well cooked and tasty. The bread basket was good and also included a small olive roll and a whole wheat one with sesame seeds. The warm focaccia with oil and oregano, offered as an entrée, was very welcome. Since the Menu of the Day formula also included wine, I chose a sparkling white, which was very pleasant (NonZio instead only had water because he had to drive...). To close the lunch, an inevitable macchiato coffee for both of us, which is not included in the menu, but is charged only 1 euro (while everywhere else now it costs 1.50 if not 2 euros). The only flaw we found, the very very slow service (or perhaps disorganized): as soon as we sat down as a couple they came to ask for the order but without having brought us the menu, once we had the menu we waited more than a quarter of an hour to order. After the first course (which arrived very slowly) we waited almost half an hour before the second course arrived, so much so that we were no longer even very hungry... Fortunately we were not in a hurry, but we entered at 12.45 and left at past 2... I hope it's a coincidence, because it's a nice place and the staff is numerous, but perhaps today it was a little disorganized. We will return to try other menus and also the pizza and hope to be able to correct the evaluation of the service. A question: can anyone tell me what the mega robot outside means?

22/04/2025: Seit Jahren besuchen wir immer wieder die Pizzeria Colibri, wenn wir zu einem Kurzaufenthalt in der Region Comer See sind. Auch diesmal wurden wir mit sher gutem Essen und Freundlichkeit bestens bewirtet. Wieder einmal ein Höhepunkt - die Penne Arrabiata. Wir freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Stop.

20/04/2025: Pranzo di Pasqua al Colibrì. Cibo molto buono con delle fantastiche penne saporite e una buonissima pizza Margherita. Personale come sempre molto simpatico e accogliente. Noi andiamo al Colibrì durante le festività da 5 anni circa, ed è stato sempre il nostro punto di riferimento per Natale, Pasqua... Ci vediamo presto!

01/05/2025: Tried it as a restaurant I will definitely try it as a hotel sooner or later. Friendly and precise service, it is certainly not suitable for a quick meal, but the taste is worth the wait. Traditional Lombard/Como dishes that are truly good and have a decidedly authentic taste. More than affordable bill. Very nice location.

22/04/2025: Very simple Hotel, but still respecting local form and tradition. The rooms were generally clean, the furniture amd everything you interacted withwas impeccable and everything worked fine. Only the corners and hard to reach places were a bit dusty. I would visit again.
