08/08/2024: We ate there on Monday August 5 and frankly it was the worst restaurant in Como. The prices are not in line with the dishes or the wines. The salmon was dry and served with boiled potatoes, without any flavor...the filet of St Pierre was average and the accompaniment lousy. I think the tartare was defrosted without any taste... presentation of the dishes zero! 2 glasses of very average quality wine 36 eur, the meal cost us 194 eur...a lot of fuss for not much really. It's really a stupid catch!!!!to avoid!!!!

05/08/2024: The dining experience was scammy. Very High priced for average seafood. They kept bringing food to the table which we didn’t order as they gaslighted us into thinking it was part of our original order which was not the case. They did this to increase the bill forcing us to pay for extra food. Finally, I extremely do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You can find way better options and way cheaper options around the area.

19/08/2024: Delightful unpretentious family-run hotel with a restaurant that serves topnotch food at affordable prices. Juliana the proprietor is a charming, calm and friendly presence. We have been staying here for years and cannot recommend it highly enough. Swim in the lake -- just a couple of minutes down the steep cobbled alleyways. Lots of fine walks up in the hills or along the shore.

16/08/2024: Bel locale con una buona cucina del territorio. Mi è sembrato di tornare indietro di 40 anni. Complimenti al cuoco e alla professionalità di tutto il personale. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che dal ristorante oltre alla buona cucina cercano un luogo dove trovarsi bene, essere ben accolti e trattati come in famiglia

29/08/2024: Nice roof terrace, great view. Gluten-free pasta and risotto possible, unfortunately no gluten-free pizza. Gluten-free bread was served. Service very attentive, prices okay. 7 p.m. for dinner is possible without a reservation (2 people), shortly afterwards many tables were occupied.

24/08/2024: On average once a year we go to Casottino with the whole family. The ambience, food and service always exceed expectations. Prices in line with the quality.

27/08/2024: Beautiful place in the middle of the woods, delicious food and very quick staff. I assume the owner passes by the tables bringing funny jokes and cheerfulness. Large parking lot. Excellent experience

24/08/2024: The welcome and the staff were good, the meat (this applies to all the dishes ordered) was really of very low quality. Very hard cut, mixed with the grill with a burnt taste and decidedly hard uncooked luganighetta, carpaccio decidedly not chewable and finally the Pallard was not only "cuttable" with a burnt acid taste. The pizza was good and the pasta too, dessert average.

25/08/2024: Basita. Capisco i costi Capisco la piazza ma non è accettabile. Un piatto, un antipasto, 3 bicchieri di vino 105 euro. Il prodotto è lo Stesso di 2 anni fa e prezzi sono triplicati Il servizio è peggiorato( il ragazzo che ci ha portato i piatti lo ha pulito con il dito e poi lo ha messo a tavola ) Sono tutti turisti e va bene così , però la presa in giro dura poco

15/08/2024: Restaurant the garden not very nice the owner is very rude and rude as the place is full of insects and bees which doesn't allow you to eat the goodness I felt treated badly my husband and I were very disappointed by the very high bill and not treated as customers

22/08/2024: Good and friendly service, but the food is just not right. It does not serve the expectations of how they represent theirselves and how the prices are set. The ravioli were covered with three different sauces. Overall, a layer of thick sepia sauce was put on many dishes, such as the squid. Also, you can find their mayonaise kind of sauce on most dishes. Here, less is more in my opinion. The octopus was a bit on the chewy side. The prices might indicate haute cuisine, but it is not.

08/08/2024: We had dinner here during a weekend, well-made food, like at home with quality raw materials, professional and fast service, with friendliness and advice, good. Accompanied by a good bottle of rosé wine. We will definitely return when we are in the area.

23/07/2024: Sehr leckere Pizza. Die Besitzer waren sehr freundlich und haben uns kurz vor Feierabend noch drei Pizzen gemacht. Sehr zu empfehlen!

21/07/2024: We spontaneously decided to visit this restaurant after our way back home from our holidays. We were very positively surprised by the kind service staff and the quality of the food. It was really delicious. We will vertainly try to come back when we are in this region again. Thank you very much!

28/08/2024: To summarize why was the experience, the service and the food (at least stakes) are bad in Comocafè/"ComoDiarrhea": Service: - The service was rather poor as wrong side dishes were delivered - Water bottles just put onto the table without opening nor serving - The table light was carelessly put onto the table without turning it on after it got darker. - It was unclear what waiter takes care of our table as for every served plateor order taken another person came by - Plates were removed while some at the table were still eating... Food - The quality of the food is low average - The menue is rather big and which brings up the question how fresh the dishes are... - medium rare meet was well done and medium was rather done too well. If the place calls itself a steakhouse I would expect more proficiency for meat. - 2 out of 3 people got diarrhea after visiting the place. - rather pricey for the food Location: - The location is close to the lake, yet it is not with a nice view and directly besides a rather busy street - the table was fine and the napkins and the setting is pretty - the olive oil bottle was smeary and not cleaned - the table lamps are nice yet not turned on by the service personnel nor were they clean but rather stained Overall not recommendable and more effort for the customer is a must for this place!

24/07/2024: We were last in Como in 2023 and ate here three times and it was brilliant every day, nice waiters, very good food. Now, after two years, we were on holiday in Como again and went out to eat twice again. The sweet dog is two years older and the food and service were excellent again. Insider tip for eating in a really great Italian flair, the waiters were also well dressed with shirts and bow ties, we'll be back, we've now eaten almost everything on the menu (except pizza, which isn't our thing but everything else was super tasty). Thank you for this great culinary experience.

23/08/2024: We went for lunch, great food, clean environment…. Personally I didn't like the service: (I'll start by saying that it can be subjective) the waiters don't give you time to finish your bite, they already take your plate away (in my opinion it's rude) and then they stand there watching you when you eat.

03/09/2024: The least tiramisu in history, if you don't have many taste buds it is a place with very beautiful views

03/09/2024: superb terrace location on the edge of the lake. The dishes are good and fresh, we ate there twice, the friendly service and the cocktails are good :)
