20/04/2026: This review pertains to the restaurant. We felt very comfortable there. It's clearly family-run – the friendly lady provided excellent service. My salmon trout fillet with spinach was fresh and delicious; there were a few small bones, but that wasn't a problem. The tiramisu was wonderful!

The food is truly excellent: fresh lake fish, first courses worth trying, and, to round off this delightful experience, an excellent dessert. 03/05/2026: We had reserved a table at this restaurant for our last evening at Lake Como. Our expectations were quite high due to the good reviews. We got a table right by the water. When we opened the menu, the prices initially shocked us. Yes, Lake Como is expensive, and we're happy to spend more for good food... but paying almost €30 for a 'normal' pasta dish was still a bit much. Well, since it was our last evening, we ordered what we fancied anyway (one pasta with pistachio cream and prawns, one fish with a side dish). Both were €30 each, plus a side salad (which consisted of just a few green leaves, some other carelessly arranged bits and pieces, and far too much dressing made from plain yogurt). This salad then cost an unbelievable €14. A bottle of wine started at €30 (online price €12). To our disappointment, the food didn't really live up to expectations. My pasta tasted of absolutely nothing. It was so bland that any homemade sauce would taste better. There were a maximum of three prawns on the plate, cut into tiny pieces. My partner's fish was lukewarm. For the price, we simply expected more. The only time anyone asked if everything was okay was at the very end, when the table was finally cleared. I said "well," and poof, the plates were gone, and no one asked any further questions. The female server (with short hair on the sides) was very friendly. The male server (with a larger belly), on the other hand, seemed forcedly friendly and was rather unpleasant. We definitely wouldn't come back. Yes, the view was nice, but you can get that almost anywhere on Lake Como.

06/04/2026: We went for dinner. It was nice and warm, and we were able to sit outside on the terrace. A wonderful wisteria, with fairy lights. A very intimate atmosphere. Above all, for me, GF 2026 certified. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND the staff is VERY friendly and attentive to any potential contamination. They give you all the necessary instructions.

06/02/2026: We had our wedding rehearsal dinner here in 2015 and we try to come back every year. In those 10 years, the food, service and atmosphere have never dipped below 5 stars. They were very accommodating and really went above and beyond for our rehearsal dinner and remember us every year. Hopefully we're lucky enough to go for another 10 years!

04/05/2026: I don't recommend this restaurant. The dishes are expensive for small portions, and they charged us extra for the side dishes (fries). So, €30 for 8 prawns plus €6 for fries. On top of that, the prawns and the grilled fish (the two dishes we ordered) were literally burnt, tasting like charcoal. The only positive point: the cheapest white wine on the menu was very good.

25/02/2026: Excellent food, but it's the soul of the place that makes the difference. The paella is exquisite and the meat is superb!!! Matteo and his partner make you feel like guests more than customers: he's down-to-earth, friendly, and like one of the family. We left with a smile and a free bag of herbs for our herbal tea, a truly thoughtful touch. Definitely book a table to enjoy this carefree experience. We'll definitely be back.

09/11/2025: The hotel was truly fantastic! The food was also good. Beautiful, green surroundings and the best coral reef in Sharm El-Sheikh. However, the bed, especially the mattress and pillows, unfortunately did not quite live up to the hotel's standard.
