04/09/2025: Good food, direct access off the highway, service a bit slow, but you can overlook that. We had the lunch menu, it was very good 👍. Perfect stopover for travelers returning from the south.

29/09/2025: This hotel is amazing!! everything was perfect ! The location is really easy to catch the ferry from Como to Lezzeno and it is a small walk from the ferry station to the hotel. Breakfast is included, and it’s really generous! and if you leave early they make a take away breakfast for you!! the view from the room also is amazing and stunning!! really really nice and recommended!!

31/07/2025: It's my favorite place. I always leave delighted. Everything is always delicious and very well prepared. The fruit sorbets are exceptional.

06/09/2025: We stayed for two nights and ate dinner in the hotel's restaurant each evening. The location was very central, the rooms were very nice and air-conditioned. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The pizzas are highly recommended, especially the excellent value for money. The only downside is that the parking in the area isn't ideal due to the central location.

31/08/2025: We stopped for lunch along our bike ride and they were very accommodating. Pizza was delicious and the service was great. Lots of great art as well.

25/08/2025: I chose three pizzas. All were excellent, especially "La Forchetta." Lovely ambiance (stylish and relaxed atmosphere), but the exterior and location are deceptive. Very child-friendly.

08/10/2025: A restaurant with a view of the lake and the mountains, beautifully situated. The staff are very attentive and super friendly. We ordered spaghetti with seafood and risotto with mushrooms. Both were delicious. The house served delicious fresh rolls with oil beforehand. The restaurant was very busy, but the prices are a bit on the high side.

15/09/2025: Definitely eat at this place. Wandered the opposite way in Tremezzo only to see tourist traps, and a few wine bars. So happy we took the 12 minute walk. The ravioli was a story from the owners childhood , just like his grandmother made. Everything on the menu is delicious. Must try for people staying in Tremezzo, will not disappoint!!

12/09/2025: Felt very unwelcome here. It had a very racism vibe. The manager here should teach their obers to smile a little bit and try not to show any racism. I do not reccomend this place. The ober had even the audacity to lie to our face by telling us that we had to order fast if we wanted to order a take away, because he was waiting a lot of people. Are we not customers to them? After half an hour we saw that it was not even crowded. Stay far far away if you don't want these people to lie in your face and make you feel very NOT welcome.

08/10/2025: Very authentic, fish-centric cuisine

01/10/2025: Nothing special. The restaurant offers food that is well below average. You are forced to eat from a very limited selection (4 appetizers, 2 main courses, and 1 dessert) and you must eat at the times they dictate: lunch from 12:30–14:00 and dinner from 19:30–21:00. So if you don’t eat exactly at those times, you’ll have to adjust. Also, if you’re used to enjoying a glass of wine and sitting longer, that won’t be possible. They present themselves as an authentic, non-commercial fish restaurant, but that has nothing to do with what you actually get. For starters, you can choose either one small appetizer or a mix of all of them. Hardly anything is edible except the pâté. For the main course, you can choose risotto or fish. If you want risotto, you must order two portions (which is completely absurd) or go with fish. Meaning, if one of you wants risotto and the other wants fish, that’s not allowed. The risotto is far below average, basically just plain rice. The fish (the reason you came) is one of the worst we’ve had—fried in oil, greasy, and served without any garnish or sauce. They don’t even provide a lemon. The story about the fish being fresh from the lake is very weak, as everyone is served the exact same size fish (a whole fish, not fillets), which in the best case means it’s farmed, not caught. Dessert is crushed ice with artificial lemon flavor. All in all, the food is very poor. The only reason we gave two stars instead of one is because the staff was friendly. Of course, you’ll pay handsomely for this: dinner for two comes to about €85 plus drinks.

08/10/2025: This place rocks. It is about as authentic as it gets here in Como. Food was fantastic and the owner took us under his wing and fed us some of the best pasta and pork roast that we have ever had. The whole experience was great!

25/09/2025: A chic little Catalan restaurant with excellent food, and the wine we had with our meal was also really good. The service was superb and fun; it was totally worth the visit 🤗

07/10/2025: Romantic ambience, great location, directly on the lake, attentive staff, creative, very fine dishes.

02/10/2025: Lovely people working here- we were stuck due to road closures and stopped in to grab breakfast and try to figure out how to catch our flight. The wonderful hostess was able to find a taxi service who would be able to take us. The breakfast was also a good deal with a beautiful view.

05/09/2025: Strangely enough, we went a couple of Saturdays ago and the pizza wasn't good... they brought my boyfriend the wrong pizza and mine with endive tasted like vinegar... I repeat, strangely enough because for us it's the best pizza in Como.

19/09/2025: This restaurant is highly recommended! While others go for fancy or expensive, this one focuses on quality and authenticity. Make a reservation, though it might work without, depending on your luck. It's definitely worth it.

04/09/2025: We tried to get a table on our first evening without a reservation – there was virtually no chance of getting one, so we immediately made a reservation for the following evening – luckily! We received a warm welcome, even with a few words of German, which we were very pleased about, as we weren't expecting it. We had prosciutto crudo with melon for starters, and for main courses, we had one lasagna and one ravioli in sage butter with Parmesan – simply delicious. For dessert, I chose the fresh apple pie – it was still warm, a dream. All in all, we had a perfect evening at Il Vapore and can only recommend it to anyone visiting Menaggio. Thank you, mille!

29/07/2025: Restaurante agradabilíssimo, nos sentamos em uma mesa ao ar livre, embaixo de frondosas árvores, de frente para o Lago. Atendimento e comida muito bons.

29/07/2025: La terraza es muy grande con una vista al lago de Como. La comida era buena, especialmente el prosciutto crudo con la burrata. IT fue un poco caro en comparación con los otros restaurantes que hemos visitado en la región.

19/09/2025: The best carbonara I've ever tried. A wide variety of gluten-free dishes. A very well-maintained place with excellent service.

18/09/2025: Amazing pizzas, the best we've ever had, one gluten free and the other regular. Tried to go there again the next day but unfortunately they didn't open until 7pm which was too late for us. Really recommendable.
