17/05/2026: Satisfaction is the right word to describe this dinner. What can I say? Everything was delicious and of excellent quality. The cooking is just how I like it: home-style and home-cooked. You can taste the care and attention that went into the preparation. The cabbage rolls were truly superb. The selection of cured meats, from the first to the last, was truly exquisite. The first and second courses, beyond their intense flavor, also revealed the time and care that went into making them. Excellent!!! I'll be back.
Compliments also to the waiters, especially the gentleman who served us, because he was kind, quick, clean, attentive, and very friendly.

04/05/2026: I found Caffè del Porto to have excellent food, carefully crafted dishes using quality ingredients, all accompanied by a relaxing atmosphere and a view that makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The service is also a plus: friendly, cheerful, and always attentive.
If you're passing through Gardone, it's one of those places worth stopping in. Highly recommended.
02/05/2026: A great stop at Caffè del Porto! We sat with a breathtaking view of the lake, the staff was extremely kind and attentive, and the food was excellent. Highly recommended for a break during a trip or a walk by the lake.

13/05/2026: It's definitely a very nice restaurant with a wonderful view of Lake Garda. The staff was friendly and helpful. Opinions were divided on the food. The lasagna was delicious, and the salad, as described, was large, but you have to remember that in Italy, salads are mostly served with olive oil, which may not be to everyone's taste. 😉 The seafood pasta was decent, but the spaghetti carnonara was very salty. Nevertheless, we recommend it. 😋 It's worth trying for yourself, because ultimately, it all depends on your palate.

12/05/2026: Disappointing value for money.
The classic pizzas were very expensive and tasted average (expectations were high for the price).
The wine was expensive, not excellent, and there was no house wine (a pizzeria should have it). The wine was served in a bucket/jar filled with cold water, not ice (which hadn't melted in the heat).
The bathroom had a wartime electric hand dryer.
If the prices had been low, I would have given it a 10, but for the quality/price ratio (high) and the basic service, it all seems out of line.
€100 for 4 simple pizzas and a €28.00 bottle of wine (no coffee, dessert, or chips).

10/01/2026: I organized a walk from the San Michele guesthouse to the Nablus restaurant, where we enjoyed our stay. Starting from the guesthouse, the route is slow, and after about 30 minutes of walking, you reach the restaurant. The road is very scenic, with some slight slopes. The return journey is a bit uphill, but doable on a paved road.
26/10/2025: Nablus was recommended to us by locals, and I must say it was a pleasant surprise. The view is magnificent, the staff is friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed all the dishes we ordered.

24/04/2026: Takeout seafood pizza arrived flooded, cold, and the mussels broke into tiny pieces as soon as you opened them... first and last time they'll see me! 🤬😡🤬😡 and it's also €10!!!!

27/04/2026: The farmhouse is pleasant and particularly welcoming, elegant, well-structured, and very spacious, making it suitable for families with small children thanks to the large, well-maintained open spaces.
The dining rooms offer ample space between tables, creating a relaxing and quiet atmosphere.
The menu offered for the event was well-balanced, decidedly enjoyable, and of high quality, with satisfying portions.
The price was reasonable for the offerings.
It's worth it.

It's fine that you play on the fact that most people are just passing through, but not everyone is used to eating in the cafeteria; in fact, it's worse.
Never again.

Now we've been back twice in 2025. The staff is very friendly and the food was good. We'll definitely go again if we're ever in the area again.

07/04/2026: A touristy restaurant in the heart of Brescia. Overall, I can't say anything is bad; the service is attentive and prompt, and the food is of a very average standard. These places can usually be a tourist trap, but this one isn't, despite the lack of standout dishes.

26/04/2026: My husband and I always go for lunch, but on Saturday, April 24, we went for dinner with friends. All the fish is always excellent—starters, first courses, second courses, and desserts. Our friends were delighted. The waiters and owner were excellent.

25/05/2026: Despite arriving 10 minutes late for our reservation—especially considering that restaurants in the area tend to close early—we were greeted with great kindness and a smile.
The location has a unique personality: well-kept, eclectic, and rich in detail, from the lace tablecloths to the furnishings, everything truly tasteful.
We had a seafood dinner, and every dish lived up to expectations: the baby octopus and paccheri alla pescatora are highly recommended, truly top marks.
The service was attentive and pleasant, never intrusive. The little bowl of sprinkles at the end of the meal was also very welcome.
We'll definitely be back!

19/05/2026: My wife, our two small children, and I arrived at the entrance of the pizzeria and asked the shorter, heavier waiter standing there if they had a table for four. He mumbled, ‘Are you going to eat?’ to which my wife replied, ‘Well, of course.’ He then turned around and walked back into the pizzeria without saying another word, so we turned around and went to another pizzeria instead.
15/05/2026: Wrong pizza, rude staff, waiters shouting in the middle of the room in Arabic. Only tourists give it 5 stars.
